Little Dio moves around the caltrops and jumps on to the wall, sticks to it and waits to kick in the face of any of these agents coming in.

so you need both hands to climb right, but as an monk, any part of my body, I can use to make an unarmed strike. As long as its DC 23 or less climb check, I should be fine. I don't even lose my Dex bonus to my AC.

For the sake of brevity, if you're readying an action, please go ahead and post the rolls for the intended action in a spoiler! c: I wasn't sure from the text if all of you were double-moving or if maybe someone was instead readying an action. >^<

The gruff mercenary gestures towards the acolyte who murmurs some more words of healing, restoring the man to full health. Recovered, the man carefully attempts to navigate the difficult terrain (AoO if he doesn't beat your CMD with a 15), striding forward to slash at Menarul. The last of the trio merely points at Penumbra.

Penumbra sees the finger pointed at her, and imagines this will be some Fear spell or such, like was cast before, and she silently laughs, steeling her mind to shake it off: "I fear nothing, especially not spells, my will is made of iron!"... not.
Will: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Not knowing her mind as well as her mind knows her, Penumbra spins around and hightails it away from the source of her fear. She dashes away, stomping right over the remains of the man whose skull she smashed.

Menarul gives a curse as things start going wrong around him. The man in the breastplate ignores his hamme swing and then heals all his wounds, steps in under his hammer before he can get it back in place and then slashes him deeply. To top it all off Penumbra also falls victim to the same spell that is causing Son to be completely useless. Deciding this is not going well, he takes a step back and draws another of the tiny vials and metal 'oranges' and lobs it at the man in the breast plate. Before drawing a larger vial marked with red.

Garzen carefully steps onto the shards of glass, trying to use the Aspis agent's confusion from Dio's stance to land a more accurate blow.

Dio attempts to spin kick the guy now that he's surrounded by both Dio and Garzen.

Despite Dio's careful attempt to kick the man on his way in, his blow basically bounces off the man's armor. The following attacks, though, combined with Garzen's own, are more than enough to drop the man. Grimacing at this new change, the person behind him scowls and points at Garzen before stepping back. As she does, a man steps forward, shortspear in hand, and jabs at Dio, missing.

Son of Cayden manages to get the door open!

Feeling the need to assist, Domitian reaches out and touches Menarul with a spell. Infernal Healing. Fast healing 1 for 10 rounds

Stretching his legs across the doorway, Little Dio hangs upside down and slaps Purple twice.

Menarul takes strides through his rapidly disintegrating fireworks debris and takes a swing at the man through the door. "Well, there goes your leader, are you sure you want to continue this?" He pulls out a large vial and downs it in one swig. He gives a shudder as his skin darkens to a mahogany and hardens into a bark like pattern. While his body starts growing to test the limits of his clothes, a broad cocky smile spreads across his face. "'Cause I'll have no problems, what so ever, knocking you out."

"Oh heavens, I am afraid", says Garzen in his signature monotonous and emotionless voice, then turns on the spot and starts making his way away from the aggressors.

Dio's first attack misses, but the second one lands squarely across the man's face. The volume of the sound is matched only by the red mark that blooms across his face.

When Menarul comments on their leader's fall, the man grins toothily. "What makes you think he was in charge?" He then stabs at Dio with his shortspear again, missing (again!), before taking a step away. From within the room, the woman looks up, eyes gleaming, and points at Menarul.

Domitian takes a 5 foot step and shoots his crossbow through the door at the green enemy.

Menarul's smile just widens at the man's comments. "Well then, that just means I have the pleasure of taking him or her down myself!" As the rememnants of his firework completely crumbles to the ground, he steps gingerly around the body of their 'not-leader' and the glass shards, taking a nice defensive position in the door way. As he does so he catches sight of the lady's eyes.

His smile falters for a brief second before coming back full force. "You know, lady, you have some very creepy eyes, but it doesn't matter, I'm still going to beat you senseless!" As if trying to proves his words he takes his seemingly lighter hammer and tries to bash the woman in the head.

Penumbra cowers in the corner, hiding behind the boxes: "Mommy, mommy, come help me!"

Domitian's blow connects and the woman glares at him as the bolt embeds itself in her shoulder. Even so, she still manages to duck Menarul's hammer, though she does splatter a bit of blood on the floor in the process.

Garzen keeps running away and stands shaking at the wall for a few seconds before regaining his bearings.

Dio climbs along the wall, through the doorway and out the other side to get in front of the hooded figure. attack of opportunity from green and purple.

"Death from above!" Dio croaks in Grippli as he bounds down with an overhead chop on the hooded figure.

Unarmed strike +higher ground nonlethal: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 1 = 25
Unarmed non-lethal damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

As the Grippli makes its way through the doorway, the sorceress swipes at him with a dagger, but makes no progress, instead fumbling the darned thing. The man, too, attempts to take advantage of Dio's movement, but the point of his spear goes wide, not so much as getting in the Grippli's square.

The woman's next attack with the dagger is a success, however, and she slashes at Dio in quick succession, accidentally dropping the dagger on the second attack. Seems appropriate for a 0, right? Although the man follows her lead, neither of his attacks land.

Round 6: double moved outside of the building and re-entered through the office to corner the bad guys (ending move on top of a chair to gain high ground).

Penumbra starts to move back as fast as she can, trying to get over her shame at abandoning her friends.

Menarul gives a laugh as his swing goes wide. "Hmm, that's odd, my hammer must be acting up! Oh well, I can still knock ya flat in no time!" He twists the handle so the flat portion is facing the lady in the green and tries to smack her on a backhand swing.

As he does so, he takes a look at Son and smiles broadly. " Ah, so that's where you went funny man! Hey, tell us a joke, I could use a laugh as I fight!"

The last man goes down in a heap below Little Dio. At last, the battle is won. It doesn't take very long for Delroya to appear - perhaps an hour or two? - and react to the scene. "Well," she says, duly impressed. "Nicely done!" She and her contacts begin moving some of the goods, taking care to sweep up the caltrops first. One of her young workers fixes up the lift to expedite the process, noting that whoever had fiddled with it had done a good job of making it stick without damaging it! An excellent trap.

"I'll be sending some of this to the Society," Delroya says. After a moment, she adds, "I might come with you after I get my affairs in order."

Much later, after sailing back to report to Venture Captain Valsin, you find that he's very pleased with what he's learned.

"You've all done very well! Not only were you discreet, but you also kept from insulting the Kortos Consortium or implicating Lord Avid. Nicely done, Pathfinders!"
