Yes, Kiwyn has a horse. It's a light, combat -trained one.
Kiwyn gives a nod and looks between Zhan and Simon. "I didn't see if the church or the town hall were still standing, I wasn't looking for them." She admits.

Meridian nods to Zahn and salutes with a gesture of his musket. Then he turns his horse and begins searching for clues to the location of the rest of the villagers.
Kiwyn helps Khloey up into Noroikawa's saddle before climbing up herself. "Hold on tight."
With the girl behind her the wizard rides between the other two, letting the fighters flank her.
What time of day is it?
We woke, hit up the beach, got ambushed, then zombies in town.
I don't think we spent the night in the jail did we?
It was just after mid-day when you returned to town, and the zombies attacked shortly after, so it's around the 4-5pm hour.
Kiwyn, Zhan, and Simon:
Zhan, Kiwyn, and Simon head off deeper into the city. The further the group travels, the more you recognize the area as an urban mixture of residential and business buildings. The residents homes have been mostly burned or broken down from the invasion. After a short trek, there are larger apartment and motel like buildings. You soon come to a four way fork in the road. One direction, leading straight forward, looks to go deeper into the residences. The left path, seems to be rather curvy, but as far down as you can see, the businesses and shelters seem to thicken, dwindling off the number of homes in the area. The path to the right looks to lead off into a clearing some ways down. You can see a black fence at the end of the clearing, but not much else.
Meridian, Robert, and Silent:
You head the opposite direction from the others, and eventually find yourselves approaching the waterfront. Past all the shipping and receiving warehouses, you see the harbor and shipyard. Not even this portion of the town was free from destruction, as most of the buildings are still smoking with ember, and a decent portion of the ships are in pieces, littering the bay. There are only a couple left intact, and most of the wreckage from the warehouse district is hard to sift through. There is still easy access to some areas of the building closest to the water, and one ship that has a direct pathway left to it. Aside from all the wreckage around you, most contents from the nearby crates, barrels, and carriages are still intact as well. You can't hear any noises over the water splashing, and the wind blowing, but it is perhaps a small possibility that there may be some survivors left.
Kiwyn looks down each path with equal intrest, but agrees with Simon's call to check the housing first. As they move along she watches to windows as Simon knocks and calls out, looking for movement or signs of life.
Zhan takes the other side of the street from Simon. As he moves, his gun hand never moves more than a few inches from the weapon. He keeps a keen ear tuned to any strange sounds; ones that might indicate a threat, or a survivor.
As the trio moves through the streets the kitsune's hopes for finding any survivors dwindles with every unanswered door.
"Do you think we will find anyone?" Kiwyn tries to sound hopeful for Khloeys's sake, but Simon and Zhan's experienced ears can most likely hear the subtle despair in her tone.
As you approach the ship, you only hear the swashing of the water, and creaking of the wood. A closer approach lets you look inside. Through a window in the side of the ship, you see a slain crew littering the lower deck. They don't resemble the terrible fate that the townspeople came across, but instead have bite and claw marks among them. Some have even been torn open, or even torn in half. The door that leads from the upper to lower deck is open, as is the lower cabin area. Any materials that you see in the ship appear to be mangled, but there are some objects still intact. The ship is still docked and able to be boarded, and anchor is cast at dock.
Zhan, Simon, Kiwyn:
The further down the street you travel, the less hope you have. Each house is empty, with signs of struggle and death. Blood smeared across windows and walls, broken bodies lying on the floors. Some missing limbs. This grim scene is nothing new to Simon and Zhan, but still horrific none the less. An unusual scene finds you about halfway down the street. You all notice one house with the door open, and a pool of blood having spilled outward. You notice the body laying there is in a hooded robe, with uniform decoration.
Zhan draws his revolver and keeps a wary eye, both in case the robed figure should turn out to be playing dead, or if he should be the bait for a trap coming from another direction.
"Fish get behind me. Meridian ye watch our backs. I'll head in first." Silent readies his shield and axe. Then mutters quickly to himself, "Damn boats, I ain't made for this."
Kiwyn stops the horse and readies herself just in case something bad happens. "Only one ray left until I have a chance to rest." She worries to herself. "Need to make it count if I use it."
When you move the hood back from the man, you recognize him as a priest for the Temple of the Shining Sun (sitting on the second tier of the city). You can tell that he is dead, but a moment later he gasps a slow breath of air, and from behind you, you hear the voice of Khloey say "I don't feel ok." and a scream from Kiwyn.
Zhan, Simon, Kiwyn:
Simon moves to see the fallen individual, and when he stops to observe, Khlowy speaks "I don't feel ok." She falls limp in Kiwyns lap, and turns a very sickly pale. She stops breathing, and the light leaves her eyes.
Perception 15 for Simon, Zhan, and Kiwyn:
You notice a glow coming from the pouch that was holding the stone sought after by The Brotherhood. The magic inside it is active.
Meridian, Silent, Robert:
You see nothing of suspicion upon immediately entering the ship. There are some dead bodies across the floor of the ship, but they have no signs of animation in them. The obvious carnage onboard is nothing different from outside. You see the stairs leading to the upper deck, and the hallway that leads to the sleeping quarters. Not much is left here to investigate, but the crews beds, and captains quarters seem logical places to check.
Perception 25 for Meridian, Robert, and Silent:
While moving through the lower portion of the ship, you notice a hand outstretched from a pile of rubble. On the ring finger of the hand is a ring. It comes to mind that this is a similar ring that your ambushers in the forest had, a Ring of Teleportation.

"F*!!!" Simon swears, yanking back as the hooded figure comes back to life for a moment and grabs his boot. He relaxed from his defensive crouch as the man collapses again and whirls to check on Kiwyn and the child.
"No time! Something about the stone is effecting her!" Simon snarls, running up and snatching the bag and moving away from the child. "Get her clear of it!"
Simon is hoping that it's a proximity thing, but he doesn't have the Heal skill. Zhan, maybe you can get her farther away and try to diagnose what's wrong?
“Hmm?” Kiwyn looks down at Khloey when she says she doesn’t feel well, drawing her attention away from Simon. But when she falls limp against her the Kitsune instantly concerned. “Khloey!” She manages to cry out before Simon nearly pulls her from the saddle by yanking off her bag.

She was about to yell at him, wondering if the human had just gone mad.

Kiwyn finally notices the glow coming from her pack and bites back the profanity she was about to say.
”Signal the others.” She barks at Zhan.
With a stern yank she turns Noroikawa causing the horse to fuss and the suddenness of the command. She mutters in her native Tien and pushes the horse to a gallop in the direction the other group had ventured off in. She needed the aquatic cleric.
"We should check the cabins, lets start with crew then move to captians." Silent says. (He'll enter doors first when party is ready)

Zhan raises his pistol and fires a shot into the air. He offers an arm to Simon to help him swing back into the saddle of his horse, and then once he is seated, he turns his own animal and heads after Kiwyn.
Zhan and Kiwyn are headed towards the docks to randevu with the others, Kiwyn holding a strong lead, gripping the body of the small child against her.
Simon:
The galloping of Zhan and Kiwyn gets quieter as the next minute passes by. You're stuck in an abandoned street, with nobody but your horse around. As the pseudo-silence settles on your nerves, you realize that, looking around, there was something strange about the incident that befell the town. The corpses reanimating, the priest returning to life for a brief moment, something isn't adding up. The words of the priest weigh down upon you, and you contemplate them further. "The Brotherhood is false." What does it mean? Your problems are cut short however, as the stone starts to glow brighter, you find yourself feeling heavy, sick, and very dizzy. Suddenly you feel empty, and you fall backwards. And as you do, your view changes. You see your body hit the ground, and your horse kicking furiously in fear, neighing fiercely in confusion.
When your vision returns you find yourself in a dark place. You are cold, shivering, and naked. Upon searching your surroundings, you find that the darkness around you stretches seemingly forever. The only light comes from above you, and when you look up, you see a red glimmer, and a window-like structure. From there, you can see the road you were on just a moment ago. In the background of the view, you can see your horse as well. He is moving around very nervously, and although you can tell he is making a lot of noise, you cannot hear him.
"You should not have done that." Comes a voice from the shadows.
Zhan and Kiwyn:
Zhan has caught up to Kiwyn, and you both are riding towards the shipyard. As you approach, you do not see the others.
Meridian, Robert, Silent:
You've started to search the crews quarters. There is nothing of particular interest in most of the cabins, but one of the cabins contains a notebook, open to a page that is dated for earlier today. In two hours, I'll be on the open sea again. reads the beginning of the passage. You are all sickened by the realization that these crewmen and captain had a chance to escape. They were set to sail away on a delivery, when the Brotherhood attacked, and stayed to try and defend their hometown. After reading this passage, you hear a gunshot from afar, the signal from the others that there is trouble.[/B]
Zhan scans for any sign of his comrades along the shipyards. He scans the ground as well, hoping that the lack of recent populous would make it easier to determine which way they went.
"Kiwyn, what are you hoping the Aquatic will be able to do for her? Are you sure you would not like me to take a look? Recall that I am a healer as well..."
Zhan steps his horse up to Kiwyn's, and brushes back the girl's hair, feeling her skin and looking at her face.

Meridian's head snaps up at the sound of the distant gunshot. "That is the signal for trouble! We need to go now!" He takes a couple steps towards the ladder going up, and if the others follow will keep going.

Robert grabs the notebook before following after Meridian. A quick decision but the sailors at least deserved to have their names remembered. And if nothing else, the gillman would like to know more about these unfamiliar waters.
Kiwyn slows Nowa as they approach the docks, allowing Zhan to catch up. The kitsune takes a calming breath and nods. "I apologize for my outburst. I did not think of your abilities, only that what had happen to this town was unholy, and that our companion was a cleric. I suppose I thought he could help somehow." She looks down at Khloey as Zhan checks her forehead, obvious concern on the wizard's face.
"It was inconsiderate to make such assumptions. I could have endangered all of us." Kiwyn realizes that Simon is still not with them. "Simon, he's alone now. He could be in trouble."
Zhan draws his pistol and fires another shot in the air, in case the others are looking for them, and unaware that we have come closer to them.
"The sound should help them find us. Simon could be in danger, but it is a risk he chose to take. He is a capable man. As soon as we find the others, I will go back for him. Now, let me see the girl, and I will see if I can figure out a way to help her."
Examining the girl a bit more thoroughly, Zhan works to assess what is wrong, and what should be done, if anything within his capabilities can be done.

The second shot, much closer, sounds as Meridian hits the top of the gangway. Sprinting down to his horse, Meridian throws himself into the saddle. Two shots is very bad."Hurry!"
You both hear rustling from nearby, and you see from across the shipyard, Meridian, Silent, and Robert rise from the bowels of a nearly untouched ship. Meridian is exiting hastily, and mounts his horse nearby. Looking up, he sees you. From afar, you notice the cleric holding something, but it is too small to make out a definitive object.
Upon inspecting the girl, Zhan, you feel that she is extremely cold. Feeling her pale skin, it is chilled to the touch, and you feel no aura of life, or even presence from her. The more you assess her, you notice that she has no heartbeat or pulse. Kiwyn, you've had Khloey in your lap for the duration of the trip to the shipyard. Her cold lifelessness is evident to you. The bright eyed young girl that you saved mere hours before, hangs lifelessly on your lap.
Meridian, Silent, Robert:
Upon rushing out of the ship, meridian mounts his horse, and the rest of you make your way off the ship. Not even a moment later do you notice Zhan and Kiwyn saddled just off the dock. In Kiwyns lap however, lays a body. Zhan is currently attempting to heal, and otherwise restore some form of health to the body. Silent, you immediately recognize the little girl.
Simon:
"Be calm, child. You are safe here, and cannot harm me even if you tried." The voice fades out some before returning. "I protected the girl, and brought her back from death. Now she has to find her way back." When he says this, you notice from the window view that your body is up and moving around. Your horse is backing away from it, and you see that your body is nervously pacing back and forth. The hands checking their arms, chest, legs, face and hair. "But it wouldn't be this way if that fox hadn't run off with her body."
I am sorry Kiwyn, but she appears to have gone. Still, I will try what I can."
Zhan reaches out again and touches the girl. He recites a prayer, healing the girl, if there is still anything there to heal.
Cure light Wounds
She may have taken some harm from the Zombies, or there may yet be something else going on. I wonder why the artifact glowed like that. I should get back to Simon, but not before doing all I can here. If by chance it was something to do with the zombies, I should make sure she is not a threat.
Spell like ability: Detect Evil, centered on the girl for three rounds.
Even as Zhan attempts to help Khloey, Kiwyn knows the little girl has gone to see her ancestors. The tears have already filled her eyes and began to run down her cheeks. She hasn't even noticed the others exiting the wreckage. It is taking all of her self control not to just break into sobs as she did when she first found the girl lying in the street.
Upon casting Detect Evil, you sense the faint aura of evil coming from the body of Khloey. The more you linger, the stronger your senses of the girl get. You don't see any noticeable evidence of trauma on the girl, but after another few seconds, you feel the presence of the very same aura towards the part of town you just came from. Near where Simon is still located.
Simon:
The voice speaks to you again. "I've taken your soul into the heart, and placed the girl in your body. I could not speak with you directly unless you were here, so there was no other way. Your fellowship has show the capability to deal with the brotherhood, albeit only by a small measure." The voice pauses, and before you, the darkness in front of you swirls into a vortex of darkness. When it clears, there stands a man, of long blonde hair, tall and muscular, with a pale skin, covered in shimmering purple runes. "I am Marcaus Thornblood. Or a fragment of my former self, at least. And you are now charged with a great responsibility. You and your fellowship have to find the missing fragments of the heart. Within each, contains a fragment of my soul, that was never fully destroyed. When you find these pieces you have to combine them, to return me to the material plane. Only then can I be destroyed, and have this darkness lifted from the land. But there is a price... Marcaus moves towards you slowly, raising his hand to your temple. "The future is set, but you can right it. Are you prepared to see?"
Everybody else:
As you approach the dock, you see Kiwyn in tears, clutching the little girl that was alive no more than an hour ago. Zhan is in deep concentration trying to diagnose the situation, and Kiwyn is unable to speak through her sorrow.
