Nearly swarming with cats and children, this fine upper-class home appears to be clean and in good condition considering the number and ages of its inhabitants. Three young boys shoot marbles in the dirt near the side porch, and inside strewn toys and more cats lie about on the floors. A few children take care of chores, while coughs and sneezes softly erupt from the children’s dormitories upstairs.

You are greeted by Auntie Baltwin herself when you enter.
"Who's there? What do you want? You should know this is a childrens home."

She replies to Maqan, completely ignoring Mollok. The moment Jeffrey opens his mouth Auntie Baltwin gets a bit more daring.
"And who is this? Coming here all high and mighty! Trying to help your friend here. Bloody fool."

She lets you enter and directs you to the living room. The moment you enter she beckons you to the chairs/couches and leaves to get cups and tea.

In the living room you find several couches and chairs. A few tables are placed in between them. Some of the walls have cupboards lined across them. There is nothing out of the ordinary.

He goes to the living room with the others. While auntie Baltwin's gone he takes a good look at the room.

You find a nearly empty whiskey bottle in one of the cupboards, everything else you find are regular household items.

Upon returning Auntie Baltwin serves up tea. she grabs the bottle of whiskey out of the cupboard and poor some in her tea.
"Would you like some too?"
She asks after pouring for herself.
"Why don't you just sit down for a bit? You are not in a hurry right? Now where shall I begin... I grew up with nine brothers and sister where I was the oldest. I have taken care of all my brothers and sisters when I was young. After that I have taken care of my own children. And one thing led to another and I was taking care of orphans. That's about it for how I ended up here."

Mollok enters the house and grabs a sit out of the way. He did not have a positive first impression of the old lady but saw no point in becoming confrontational. Maybe we should talk to the chieldren too later. He whispers to his companions.

It is just me here. Although some of the children like to help out. It's busy on some days but nothing I wouldn't be able to handle. But tell me where are you from? You said you had business today?

"You know we don't look like your regular pathfinders. Look how many shades of crimson skin ya have here. Look, if you're not interested in a deal, just let me know. We'll find someone who is."

She follows Jeffrey with her eyes as he stands up and starts to leave.
"Young man, where do you think you are going? That is definitely not the way to the bathroom and you also don't look like you have to go. Here let me give you a tour of the building."
She stands and grabs his arm. She turns around and beckons the others to follow her.

First you come into the hallway again.
"Here we are in the hallway again, over to the right is the kitchen as you might have noticed before. To the left is the stair to the upper floor. The bathroom you wanted to go to is out back if you really need to go that bad. The door is in the living room we just left."
She glares angrily at Jeffrey when she said the last part.
You may leave her loving embrace of your arm to take a leak :P

She continues the tour upstairs. You come across many rooms with some children in them, playing with some wooden toys.

He gives a tiny nod and runs off again.
"Such a good boy. But this is about it for my home. Was there anything else you wanted? You might have another cup of tea if you like."

Saarai quickly follows after Henry.

"Hi Henry," Saarai says with a smile, and tries to get him to stop. "I'm a tiefling...have you ever seen what we can do with our tails?"

She begins to expertly manipulate her gear, moving a coin from belt pouches to her baldolier.

Shifting her weight to one hand, she continues the entertaining routine.

My mistake, it was supposed to be a bluff roll instead of diplomacy :( So Maqan may read the spoiler!

Mollok leaves the group as they ascend the stairs. He comes out back into the "garden", a grass field. he outhouse is in the back of the garden. You can circle around the building without being seen by Auntie Baltwin. No one is currently in the back garden, you do hear children playing at the front of the house though.

At first the child is shy and backs up a bit as you enter his room. When you start your act he shies away in the corner and looks afraid.
"W-w-what are you doing?"

Auntie Baltwin stays with the group in the hallway waiting for any response to her questions.

"Yes, let's go for another cup of tea," Jeffrey suggests. He starts leading Auntie Baltwin toward the stairs, and away from the others who are still in the hallway.

"Are you sure you want to continue to live in this house? You should consider moving. Stairs can be very nasty when reaching old age."

You may just fall off...

Jeffrey will move slowly so he can block Mollok, who Jeffrey expects is snooping around the house right now, from view in case it's needed.

Any rolls needed for the last part? If he chooses to circle the house it shouldn't be necessary, I think.

@Jeffrey No rolls needed, she's fairly occupied with talking to you guys.
Auntie Baltwin really doens't like Jeffrey and keeps challenging him through the whole conversation.
"And what?! Move to somewhere where I will lose everything I have worked for so hard? Don't be stupid boy."
She falls silent again before Maqan starts talking again. Auntie Baltwin gives you an incredulous look and laughs.
"Ha! Seems most days you need it if you want to make it through the day in this house. These children are killing me!"
She is clearly talking about her alcoholism.

Saarai with Henry:

He stares back at you in complete awe.
"M-m-my Fairy Godmother? Will you bring my parents back?!"

Mollok with the children at the front door:

The children look at each other and turn back to you.
"Who are you?"
Replies the first child. The second child answers your question directly.
"Auntie Baltwin is mean! But she cooks real good and tells the best bedtime stories!"
The child stands up touches your knee and runs away. The second child soon follows.
"Catch me if you can!"
If you wait for them to hide you can see them clearly hiding behind a bush giggling.

Maqan narrows her eyes at Jeffrey before turning them on Auntie Baltwin. "Very well. We shall report back to our suppliers to render a decision. Come along, friend," she says to Jeffrey, hoping to lead him outside before he is walloped by an old drunken woman.

Later, at an unobserved distance, she says to the others, "I don't like the idea of supporting an alcoholic, but does the children's need outweigh her addiction?"


Male Human

group upstairs:

She looks angry at Jeffrey.
"I think you need a good whack on the behind if you ask me."
She turns to Maqan and ignores Jeffrey from now on.
"I thank you greatly for your nice visit! Although I think you need to choose your companions more wisely."
Auntie Baltwin heads over to the living room after directing you to the door.

You may search the kitchen and the hallway still if you like! So far you have only checked the living room for any evidence.

Saarai with Henry:

Diplomacy Saarai: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0Hmmmm...
Henry starts crying the moment you say you can't bring his parents back. He runs away into the hallway and disappears out of sight.

Mollok with the children:

They stare at you as you catch up with them.
"No fair! you're bigger!"
Replies the first child. The other child looks about for a moment and starts running again. The other child soon follows and they disappear out of view. As you look around you are not able to find them again.

Rounding this part of the day up, the scenario is getting a bit stuck here. There were more secrets to uncover... :( Sad part is that you split up in such a way that you will not be able to uncover them. If you search a bit more whilst Auntie Baltwin is in the living room you might still be able to find some more interesting things. :)

When Maqan speaks to the party Jeffrey replies in a whispered voice: "It doesn't matter if the children's needs outweighs her alcoholism, or if it doesn't. Our assignment is to uncover what we can, and report it to the Silver Crusade. I'm going to leave the ethics to them."

Because Auntie Baltwin decides to ignore Jeffrey, the fighter walks off and searches the kitchen. After all, she only directed him to the door. He opens all drawers, closets, et cetera, and goes over all the contents.

If has the time he'll take 20, for a total of 20. Otherwise, here's a roll:

Mollok's and Saarai's search leads to nothing.

Jeffrey takes his time and searches the kitchen. Once he starts moving stuff about he finds stashed curatives from several different charities.

After some snooping around you meet each other at the front of the house. You did everything you could to find evidence and can go back to Ollysta Zadrian.

Second quest finished :) I will post the part of Ollysta in a spoiler but feel free to RP the way back. What will be next? Here is the list again, saves some searching ^^

Temple of the Shining Star:

As you enter the building the clerk recognizes you and directs you to Ollysta Zadrian again. Once in her office she hears you out on your findings about Auntie Baltwin.
"So you say that she is an alcoholic and that the home is filled with medicine? This sounds really fishy if you ask me."
She seems to be thinking about the situation and after a while she adds.
"Anyways, I thank you greatly for your efforts. Here is a reward for helping me out with this."
She hands each of you a small bag of coins containing 68gp.
