Vors kills the mite in front of him, but the other mite deftly dodges being hit by both Rowan and Dante. Dantalion delays. The entangled mite finally frees himself and flees. The remaining mite attacks defensively hoping his friends can make it in time. And you do hear scampering now coming from the hole you came down.
Attack on Dante: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (15) - 4 = 11
The mite misses.
Rowan Gideon
Sling: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Rowan slings a stone at the mite attacking Dante and then prepares to face the oncoming attack. Felix, be careful! They're coming from that way! he shouts a warning.
Vors Garess
With only one mite in front of him and Rowan warning to Felix, Vors digs deep and manages to channels alls his boiling anger into a single upwards thrust with his dagger, burying it to the hilt in poor creatures skull. He turns dead calm to Dante and asks: "Should we lead?" gesturing towards the way we came in.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Confirming?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Crit: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Waste of good rolls. :D
Kertuffle
As Vors splits the remaining mite in two, 3 Giant Centipedes pour through the opening you entered the chamber through. They are followed close behind by an eldery female mite who is moving very fast and is in the process of finishing a spell. The centipedes scamper along the walls of the chamber and appear to be ready to pounce to the attack.
Rowan Gideon
Rowan flings a stone bullet at the elderly mite.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Kertuffle
Dantalion's arrow bounces off some sort of invisible shield around the elderly mite. Dante reduces a centipede to goo. The elderly mite shrieks "My Baby! You human will pay for that, Quoggy promises." Her lamentations are cut short as Rowan's sling bullet bounces off her head. Felix moves behind everyone, guarded by Terquail. Vors squishes another centipede soliciting another scream from the mite. She takes a moment, looking like she's going to throw up and then shoots a stream of acid from her mouth at Vors
Ranged Touch vs Vors: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
The spittle stikes causing
damage to Vors: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
considerable pain to Vors. At which point the centipede, evidently drawn to the vomit attacks Vors.
bite attack Vors: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
but Vors evades the attack easily. At this point more mites appear and there appear to be more behind them. Leading them is a large mite mounted upon a giant tick. Quoggy points at Dante. "Grabbles, He killed Kenniee." Grabbles tosses a dart at Dante.
Attack Dante: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
but almost falls off his mount. All the other mites except for one have moved too far to get attacks, but one dart goes for
1 Vors,2 Dantalion, 3 Terquail, 4 Dante: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Attack Vors: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
and Vors takes a dart for
damage Vors: 1d3 ⇒ 3
At this point everyone can act.
I had Felix do the obvious thing and move behind most everyone. Bad round for Vors. The mite on the tick seems intent on heading towards Dante. The rest of the mites seem content to hang back and just throw darts.
Rowan Gideon
Rowan launches another stone bullet at Quoggy.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Vors, are you alright? He asks, wincing as the warrior takes a few hits.
Felix Sebastian Orlovsky
Thanks, for some reason when I post from my phone the little paizo gremlins eat the post. Only some times though it seems, just enough to annoy the crap out of me.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
I know we are a round after but wanted to put this in here as proof of the successful spellcraft check. Last round
Intimidate: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Felix points at the old mite if he is still alive and yells. "Your people are dieing all around you and so shall you soon."
Vors Garess
The pain of the repeated attacks breaks what little restraint Vors has left and he howls out in pain and anger. A growl is the only response he makes to Rowan's inquiry. Rage distorts his features as his paternal heritage finally shines through. Like an anger bear he dives for the centipede trying to stab it as many times as possible.
Attacking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11

Kertuffle
Vors is unable to land a killing blow against the quick centipede. Dantalion and Rowan's attack stagger Quoggy and Felix's intimidate causes the old mite to run away, moaning,"No they hurts us." Dante's blow kills the mite rider but bounces off the ticks armor. The tick attacks Dante
Tick Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Tick Bite Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Tick Bite Grapple: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
and latches on doing 8 points of damage and starting to suck his blood.
If the tick is still attached (ie. grappled) at the start of the tick's next action then Dante will take 1 STR and 1 CON damage.. More mites arrive and there is a flurry of darts against everyone but Dante who has Tick Coverage and Felix who has friends between him and the mites
Attack Terquail: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Attack Dantalion: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Attack Vors: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
Damage Terquail: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Damage Rowan: 1d3 ⇒ 2
the centipede also attacks Vors
Attack Vors: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 but the centipede also cannot land a telling blow.
Rowan Gideon
Rowan drops his shield and sling to the ground and casts Aspect of the Falcon upon himself. His eyes widen and appear eagle-like and several feathers grow around his ears. Rowan then quickly draws his bow, knocking an arrow and taking time to aim.
Free action to drop items. Standard action to cast and then move action to draw bow.
Spell duration 1 of 20 rounds
Vors Garess
Regaining his balance after his first ferocious attack, Vors dives in to the fray growling. The primal rage dominates and the man uses teeth nail and weapon to mail his prey. Howling in joy as he succeeds, his face contorted in rage has lost some of its human features.

Seeing his opening the little kobold steps forward and stabs at the distracted tick.

Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Felix will then use the distraction to move in to heal Vors.
Cast Defensivly: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Mite gets an AOO and if successful,
Concentration vs Injury: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 DC 11+ dmg taken.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 CLW and now I am down to Chanel
This assumes the centipede dies from vors, otherwise centipede gets a shot in too.
Kertuffle
Vors slays the centipede with a mighty yell and blow. The nearby mite takes a swing at Felix
Attack Felix: 1d20 ⇒ 20
Confirm Attack Felix: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Damage: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
The mite hurts Felix but the cure spell still works.
Dante's blows versus the tick keep bouncing off his armor but the rescued kobold jabs a dagger into its eye. Dantalion moves to get a better attack but the ticks armor seems impenetrable. The tick continues to grapple Dante and he begins to feel light headed from blood loss [1 STR and CON damage] and it tries to sink its fangs deeper
Grapple: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
The mites step back and toss two darts at everyone in the front but Dante. They seem emboldened by how well the tick is doing versus the bigun fighter and they start to chant "Tickleback, Tickleback.."
Attack Terquail: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Two of the darts hit Vors doing

Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Normally Grapple only causes loss of 4 Dex not flat footed but this is a tick, so I'm saying he is flat footed so Terquail will get sneak attack and you can treat him as such. Unfortunately his natural armor is high enough the tick's current AC is still 13. Dante, it is still sucking blood.
Rowan Gideon
Rowan takes a few steps forward and fires an arrow over the kobold at the tick.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

The howl ceases as the healing magic flows through him. He twists and looks at Felix, he begins to move his weapon and then recognises his companion. Hearing the chanting he roars back and moves to chanting crowd. He waves the dagger in front of him.

Terquails attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Both Dantalion's and Terquail's attacks bounce off the tick. Vors advances on the mites and misses. Rowan does shoot over Terquail's head and hits the tick. Felix delays. Dante with a mighty heave throws the Tick off him. The Tick scurries towards Terquail.
Attack Terquail: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
but it's attack just barely bounces of the kobold's scales. Emboldened by the tick the mites leap to attack.

Rowan Gideon
Seeing that the tick was thrown off by Dante, Rowan changes target to the mite engaging Dantalion, hoping to open up some free space for Dantalion to shoot as well.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Felix Sebastian Orlovsky
Felix is out of spells and down to channel energy. Not our best friend at this moments.
Felix attempts to scare more mites.
"You there, yes you. See how your leader runs, shouldn't you follow."
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Terquail stabs at the tick a second time.

Holy crap, I want this kobold. If I die, I want to play this kobold. Run him as a knifemaster scout and just be awesome.
Vors Garess
The encouraged mites only seem to inflame Vors' anger. Growling a threat he grips the head of the closest mites and cuts it throat before turning to the next.

Rage 4/8
Kertuffle
One of Rowan's arrows impales the mite in front of Dantalion, spliting his head asunder. Terquail slashes at the tick and blood flows. The mite in front of Felix cringes in fear but still is attacking (shaken). Dante cuts a mite in half and slashes the tick nearly severing a leg. Vors violently tears a mite in half. One of Dantalion's arrows bounces off the tick. The tick continues attacking Terquail
Bite Terquail: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
but is thrown off balance by the loss of leg and misses.
All of the mites move up, engaging in a fast and furious melee

Rowan Gideon
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
I see you hiding around that corner! Rowan yells out at Quoggy.
Rowan raises his bow and fires an arrow at the mite in front of Terquail.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
We're coming for you soon! he growls menacingly.
Intimidate (untrained): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Kertuffle
Dantalion shoots a nearby mite but the arrow doesn't kill it. Terquail crits the tick in the eye again. Rowan also shoots a mite but doesn't finish it off. Dante just can't seem to find an unarmored spot on the bug.
Vors continues to kill mites
Attack Mite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
he decapitates a mite with his dagger.
The tick continues to attack the small kobold that keeps sticking him in the eye.
Attack Terquail: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
and misses the agile creature yet again.
The mite Dantalion shot steps forward and swings at Dantalion
Attack Dantalion: 1d20 ⇒ 19
crit Dantalion: 1d20 ⇒ 14
and barely misses criticlling him
damage Dantalion: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Vors, Felix and Terquail also get attacked by mites.
Attack Vors: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Attack Felix: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Attack Terquail: 1d20 ⇒ 12
and all three get missed. Another mite appears, evidently the one who was entangled on the other side of the pit has finally made it to the fight. Quoggy stops it and says something in undercommon
and spits a globule of Acid at Vors
Ranged Touch Vors: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
The acid hits doing
acid damage Vors: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
and Quoggy falls unconscious into the waiting arms of the mite that just entered.
Vors Garess
The acid hits Vors squarely in the face covering his mouth and nose just as he draws in a large breath. The corrosive liquid attacks his vulnerable airways and he begins coughing and spitting to clear this latest threat. A few drops must have spilled down to his vocal cords as his voice is now coarse. It merely adds to the boiling anger controlling his actions and the closest mite suffers.
1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Kertuffle
The closest mite to Vors does indeed suffer greatly as he tears it apart. Terquail continues to stab at the tick but Dante finally finds a chink in the chiton and kills both the tick the mite in front of Dantalion to boot. Rowan kills the mite holding Quoggy and it drops and Quoggy falls to the floor and bleeds some more. Dantalion shoots a mite.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
and kills it the remaining mite tries to run but Vors cuts it down. The only living mite is Quoggy but she is unconscious and bleeding out.
Rowan Gideon
Rowan takes a moment to stabilize Quoggy's condition before looking up at Felix. Heal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
I don't think she'll be happy that we've killed all of her kin but do you think you could talk her into giving us information? Maybe tell us where the Idol is hidden?
Vors Garess
Looking around for his next prey Vors somehow registers that none are left standing. He takes a step towards his allies before the concious self realises what he is about to do and suppresses the urge. Feeling the rage leave him, he stops, sheaths the dagger and breaths heavily trying to disperse the stress from his body. "Turned out to be quite a fight, everyone still alive?" ha asks.
Ending rage, fatigued for 12 rounds.
Felix Sebastian Orlovsky
Felix looks at the fallen mite and thinks for a moment."Tie her up, if she cooperates we can see where we go from there. If she doesn't cooperate, then I guess we take her to the kobolds as a prisoner of war. Terquil was it? Thank you for all your help in that battle. I hope you will stay on with us for a bit." Felix waits as the others tie up the mite. "Everyone who was injured, please gather round." Felix lets the wisdom of Shei flow forth from him as a healing light. 1d6 ⇒ 4
Kertuffle
Felix heals everyone 4 points of damage. Terquail is grateful, jubilant at seeing his ancient enemy destroyed and is anxious to search for the idol. He accepts Felix's offer to take Quoggy as a 'POW'. It takes about an hour to search the complex (not including the bottom of the chasm where the giant centipede lives)

"Do we have any way of providing a burial for the gnome? I don't want to leave him here like that." Rowan says after the lair has been cleared. "If not, I'd like to make a funeral pyre for him somewhere away from here."
Rowan takes a brief look at the note. "I haven't seen writing like that before, sorry Dantalion."
After Felix examines the loot, Rowan helps gather it up and load the mounts. He pets Argos for doing a good job as watchdog and returns Vor's greatsword to him. "You looked a bit dangerous there for a second Vors. Do you normally get this swept up in battle?" he asks, a guarded yet curious look on his face.
Vors Garess
As the energy of Felix' god blossoms forth Vors feel reinvigorated, his minor cuts begin to close and a bruised arm becomes painless. "That was good," he says as Felix finishes. Following the others around the cave and later outside, he quickly glances at the paper Dantalion presents and shakes his head moving on towards Rowan. As he accepts the greatsword, he shakes his head. "It just happens sometimes, most often in battle but sometime elsewhere. The rage is always there boiling. But useful sometimes," he answers.
