Sandwiches are pretty cool.
Work's been alternately slow and hectic for me but otherwise lifes been pretty good. Spending a lot of time with family and friends and meeting some new people in the process. I just moved to a new city a few months ago so I've been doing a lot of exploring too. It's even occasionally cool enough to enjoy cruising around town.

I hate it when that happens.

My interpretation of the current situation is that Bois, Valerie, and Aishara are checking random doors following a path of going "to the left". They tried one door, behind which was the Tiefling preparing to leave. Embarrased, Bois jumped back and, afriad he upset the Tiefling, is reluctant to ask him for directions. Summer and Fortis are with the dwarves, waiting for the other three to find another portal so that no one gets lost or separated and the dwarves are still guarded per their "hiring mission".
My perception is that one of two things can happen now:
-either Aishara or Valerie stop the Tiefling to ask for directions
or
-we allow him to go on his way and follow him in hopes that he takes a portal to the next "pocket dimension" we need to go through instead of back to the material plane.

I personally don't think going back in to talk to the Tiefling is a good idea. 1) He looked like he was going to go somewhere. By the time I go back to talk to Aishara and Valerie about it, he'll be gone. 2) I burst into his house uninvited. Thats never a good thing, he might be a bit angry.

Well if he does end up coming out, we can try to judge it from there.

The character concept was inspired by a piece of art (linked in the profile) I found in a fantasy art archive a friend gave me. The idea of a blind spellcaster that sees through the eyes of her familiar is neat, although it's a long and costly road under this system (4 feats + maybe 7,500+ gp).
The requirements:
Already have: Skill Focus (knowledge, planes).
Level 3: Eldritch Heritage (arcane): Gain arcane bond (familiar) bloodline power.
Level 7: Improved Familiar: Gain pseudodragon familiar.
Level 11: Improved Eldritch Heritage: Gain new arcana bloodline power in order to add share senses (and some other spells) to spells known. Also, persuade GM to allow permanency on share senses?
It's not that I don't like the avatar picture. I was just hoping to find something with a similar ethereal innocence to it.

I like that picture that inspired her. I might use that sometime, maybe for an NPC, but I probably won't go the blind Oracle route.
Also: Couldn't you do similar things by going Summoner a level or two so that you have an Eidolon instead? The classes also have the same casting stat, and you would get your tiny dragon as quick as level 2 instead of level 7, plus they start out sharing their senses. I can understand you not wanting to do that, but it is an alternative way of doing things.
Hey, right fast, I had a crazy idea and I was wondering if you people would think that it's a cool idea or not. Imagine a Mariachi band member who can summon Skeletons that are ornate in apperance. If he's human, which he probably would be, then I can take Spell Focus: Necromancy and then Skeletal Summoner at 1st level. If I make him a Bard, he can Start a round of performance, then summon a skeleton to fight for a round with bonuses. If I make him a Summoner, I can summon the skeleton for a minute at 1st, but I can't do bardic perform. Plus I would have El Phantasm Magnifico, the powerful Eidolon that I probably wouldn't use a lot until I could cast the spell Summon Eidolon at 4th level.
Would that be a cool character to play with, or would you rather keep him in the idea stage of creation?

That would be pretty cool. In fact, I might have a Soul Knife for him to party with :P Heck, we could get a whole band together.

How's it going, everyone? We still sticking in the campaign? I feel like we could get it started up again if we all could sign in and post. If we weren't in combat, we could have some RP banter posts.
Still here, just not much to say. Gotta admit, though, I've pretty much lost interest in this game at this point.
