While Threll waits out the peering guard, Guardian quietly slinks closure to the shambling creatures to get a closer look. He cannot figure out what they are, but tries to figure out if they're... hunting? Foraging?
He stays low behind the nearest ruin wall as he observes them.

on discovering the source of the sound, Threll is filled with a sort of murderous glee at the fact that he will likely be able to destroy them, no harm no foul! It is in this moment of glee that he distractedly bumps a wall, sending it toppling loudly over.
Feeling a bit like a bull in a china shop, Threll decides to try and mask his noise by reproducing it elsewhere, disguising the sounds source!

Seras sends a level glare at Threll, communicating a sense of exasperation over their bond. She ducks down behind the same wall as Guardian, quietly easing her blade out of the scepter it's concealed in and linking up with both the Warforged and the sorcerer. "Threll, if they don't find you, don't engage. Let me try to get on the far side of them, make a triangle with you and Guardian, and then we can snap the trap shut."

The soldier glances at the new sounds, looks back at the original location before turning back to the others, they laugh at the man's paranoia as he joins them by the fire.
Seras if you want to follow your plan, I need you to make a Int check, Know. Tactics, Prof. Soldier to plan out the route to avoid detection and alerting the creatures.

Threll takes quiet sigh of relief that his ploy paid off, and takes a moment to hunker down where he is and share his own plan of action through Bonded Mind:
”They are close enough for me to create the Box Head illusions, I just need to cue. Lemme know when to do the thing.”
Prepared action: Silent image to create black boxes around enemy heads, should they take hostile action against Seras

XI nods at Threll's prep and initiates his own.
Astral armor, mind blade manifested. Psychic Strike charged.

The tactical movement is extremely slow going due to the glass creatures, but after an hour your all placed in a rough attack position. The one thing you've all noticed in this time is that none of the guards have been drinking. Grumbles and dark looks lead you to believe the source of the problem lies with whoever is in the tent guarded by the skeletal figures, which now that your closer you recognize as Karrnathi skeletons.
Map updated, based on tactics roll. I also discovered the zoom function so I can use this map for battle as well.

Threll, seeing his teammates are in position, will cast Silent Image to create black boxes around enemy heads [ooc]hopefully, functionally blinding them until they 'interact with the illusion' by trying to remove it.
"Illusion is up but they probably heard me cast it, so go for it!"

As the illusions fall upon the guards XI stands to run from behind the tent he was using for cover...

Since you guy are taking the initiative...get it initiative, I guess I'll get the rest of you to roll for initiative
The guards start to panic as their world turn to darkness. They begin to stumble around the camp, running into the tents as well as each other. In one such encounter the smaller of the two is knocked down into the campfire. His yells of panic quickly turn to screams of terror and pain. The skeletons begin to draw their weapons as they scan the ruins for this obvious signs of attack.

Still a good distance from the guards around the campfire, XI begins his approach while forming his mindblade...

He then concentrates for a brief moment and the blade lights up with bright crackling energy.

Seras heads south and west, aiming to get into position to attack one of the guards. Guardian, you'll be better on the skeletons than me!

A tent flap seems to part with the wind, just before a flash of darkness spreads from the camp.
Need will saves from you all.
After the flash, a robed FIGURE can be seen next to the man in the fire, holy symbol held in the air and a dark energy seems to be flowing from the burning man into the holy symbol.

Two of the soldier seem to shrug off the shadows covering them, at least enough to see the danger. The skeleton move and flank the robed FIGURE. Seeking out the danger to the group.

One seem to notice Seras' movement closer and growls in response, the other seems to have picked up on the rest of the group. Other then drawing their weapons, they do nothing but guard the robed man.

Realizing that their cover is up and presence exposed, XI more quickly rushes up alongside the westernmost tent.
