Spyro Dragon Touched
Spyro allows the great cub to drop from his hands. He prods a little closer and takes a chakram from his belt. Still requiring visible effort he flings the chakram at the last goblin.
Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Unless Ashalla already knocked out the goblin, in which case Spyro just drops the club and drops to his knees in his fatigue
Shalm
The whip strikes the goblin hard, almost knocking it off its feet. Distracted, the goblin doesn't notice the chakram until the very last moment, but expertly ducks underneath just before impact. Raising its hands to the sky and chanting a few words, the goblin looks suddenly more energized. It ducks behind the cart nearby.
Goblin: 6/9
Not dead yet! You're up! The goblin has improved cover against you where you both stand now, so it would get a +8 to AC against ranged attacks.
Spyro Dragon Touched
Spyro heads up the stairs to the east and draws another chakram from his belt. Once he gets an angle around the cart he throws it at the goblin.
with 40ft movement speed I’m fairly certain I can get to a spot that the cart no longer provides cover and also in 30ft range of the chakram
Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Shalm
The goblin cackles with glee as both the chakram and the tree branch fly past it. Seeing the exhausted Sypro, the goblin takes aim and looses an arrow from his bow. The attack misses, and the goblin tries to leap up on the cart. It mistimes the jump though, and comes crashing down to the ground.
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Goblin is prone, and you're both up!
Shalm
Neither attack hits the goblin, who is surprisingly nimble even on the ground. Dropping his bow, he stands up, raising an arm to cast a spell on Spyro. The goblin dodges Spyro's opportunistic dagger thrust, but Spyro is unaffected by the spell.
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Both up!
Shalm
The goblin doesn't have a weapon drawn, so no AoO.
The goblin pulls out a dogslicer and tries to bring down the fatigued barbarian. It only barely makes it past Spyro's armor.
Spyro takes 1 damage. Grant, if you want to bring in your second character to try to finish this this off, you can haha this is unbelievable.
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Spyro Dragon Touched
Honestly kinda assumed Ashalla would have finished this. New character does even less damage - literally doesn’t have a weapon or attack spells. I guess maybe the wolf that comes along might have better luck? If this is how things go might have to even consider a different third approach haha. Fingers crossed we will get him this time.
Shalm
Ashalla's apple finally takes out the remaining goblin.
Looking around, you still see chaos all over the town. In one direction, you look up just in time to see a goblin leap from a roof toward an unsuspecting victim. The goblin mis-aimed its just, though, and breaks its neck as it falls to the ground. Turning your head another way, you see a goblin throw a lit torch at a fleeing mother, only to miss and hit a fellow goblin, lighting it up in flames.
A priest rushes over to you and sees how much the battle has taken out of you.
"Thank you, friends. Thank you. Let me heal you. I'm Fr. Zanthus, by the way."
The cleric reaches to a holy symbol around his neck in the shape of a butterfly, and suddenly you feel healing wash over you.
You each heal 10 points.
"Do you need more? I can continue to help if that isn't enough; you two have been our only hope around here."
Spyro Dragon Touched
Spyro’s wounds certainly seem to have improved but have not completely gone away. Now that the final goblin is down his fatigue takes over and Spyro drops to the ground.
”I don’t think I’ll be much help against more Goblins” he mutters from where he lays exhausted.
I also don’t think I’ll stand a chance in Rappan Athuk. Maybe this isn’t the life for me
Spyro falls asleep despite all the chaos that continues around town
Gnomey the Gnome
As Spyro collapses, a small gnome walks into the square and heads directly toward Ashalla. The gnome is small though of average size for his race and has stark blond hair that offsets his black eyes. However, it can be easy to overlook the gnome because of the larger wolf with silvery skin that casually walks up beside him. The gnome shows no specific signs of concern regarding the chaos of the town or the remnants of the battle that just occurred in the square. He stops when he reaches Ashalla.
”You must be Ashalla Firefight. You are right where the moon told me to find you. Seems we have a goblin problem to address before we can go to Rappan Athuk. We must hurry, the moon is oddly impatient.”
The gnome finally directs his attention elsewhere as he turns toward the collapsed Spyro.
”The moon was correct, this one is not destined to make it far.”
Ashalla Firefight

What in Desna’s fluttery wings? This guy talks to the moon... But apparently the moon knows more than I ever gave it credit for.
“Not going to say no to some help. Let’s clear the goblins and then we can talk about your, um... moon?”
Glancing at Spyro
Well at least he provided an excellent distraction and meat shield
Ashalla listens and observers to find the nearest group of goblins.

Suddenly, you hear a scream and frantic barking coming from the north. Running around to the east side of the White Deer, near Sandpoint's north gate, you see a goblin mounted on a goblin dog cornering a dark-haired man dressed in fine clothing and the man's hunting dog.
Before you're able to react, the goblin slits the throat of the dog, which collapses in a heap. You immediately hear victorious shouts as three other goblins emerge from hiding, clearly excited that the dog has been felled.
I have to wait until I have my laptop at home to update the map, but you can let me know what you want to do for the surprise round! We'll say you're 30 feet from the mounted goblin and the goblin minions, and 40 feet from the dark-haired man.

At the sound of the howl, you can see that the mounted goblin is taken aback, fear gleaming in his eyes.
The mounted goblin is shaken for one round.
The other goblins, thinking they were free from the evil dog their leader killed, spot the wolf.
"DOG!" they shout, pulling out short bows and loosing arrows at the wolf. Wofly deftly dodges two of the arrows, but one finds its mark, and the wolf lets out a howl of pain.

The gnome and wolf throw themselves toward the goblins. Wolfy slams into one goblin, his bite ripping at the goblin's chest. It falls to the ground, bleeding.
The other two goblins drop their bows and draw dogslicers. "DOG!" they shout, ignoring Gnomey and attacking the wolf. Filled with rage and fear, the goblins viciously slice at Wolfy, cutting him severely.

The goblin rides back north, hiding behind the shrubs. Ashalla takes a shot at it with her boomerang, but the bushes provide enough cover for the goblin to dodge. It pulls out a bow once it gets near the wall and looses an arrow at Ashalla, but it sails over her heard.

The unattended stone sails well over the mounted goblin, who cackles in delight. He grabs another arrow from his sheath and looses it at Ashalla before spurring the goblin dog and running back to hide among the bushes. Ashalla easily moves out of the way of the arrow.

As Gnomey heals Wolfy, the wolf takes a rejuvenated at its target. The goblin does't react in time, and Wolfy rips into its throat, killing it. Fear fills the other goblin's eyes; it drops its weapon and bolts away in retreat.
Full withdraw off the map.
Ashalla can barely see the mounted goblin through the bushes, but she knows to expect an attack.
Ashalla, you're up!
Shalm
Seems like Ashalla is the one who can't hit now.
Another rock flies over the head of the mounted goblin. Dropping its bow, the goblin pulls out a long spear-like weapon with an axehead on one side and a hook on the other. The goblin dog steps forward as the goblin swings the weapon toward you from ten feet away. The unexpected attack gets by Ashalla's defenses and slashes her in the side.
Ashalla takes 6 damage.
Meanwhile, Gnomey and Wolfy look around to see the mounted goblin in melee with their new friend. The goblin doesn't seem to notice them.
