Reinald Malcoms
Reinald looks to the others, "You still got that oil and flame ready."
Reinald looks to Scourge keeping his sword leveled at the man. "Shed your coat. Hands to the wall. Or not." Reinald motions with his cutlass highlighting his last words indicating that failure to comply invites sharp consequences.
Morgan 'Sharky' Teach
Seeing Scourge surrender, Morgan throws in with the others. "I'm happy to let the sharks have him, but it might be worth learning what he knows about what the captain had planned."
Suddenly the creaking of a pulley alerts Morgan to the boat and then Patch.
Leaving Scourge to the others, Morgan wastes no time in moving to the side, raising his bow and launching an arrow at the newly reappeared figure in the boat.
"You have nowhere to hide now Patch, and I need some target practice. You could spoil my fun and come back though."
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 22
Dmg: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 11
I have assumed he is still within 30ft, otherwise -1 to hit and damage.I have a range increment of 110ft and he has a speed of 30ft(double move =60ft), do you want me to keep rolling to hit dice? (I can't really give a cohesive plan of + and - as it depends on success)
Reinald Malcoms
Reinald kicks the weapons away from Scourge sheaths his sword and attempts to bind him.
Reinald Malcoms
"Are Kip and the captain breathing, that shouldn't be. We don't need another struggle later."
Reinald Malcoms
Reinald calls over his shoulder, "Make sure you check his pockets before you toss him."
Jerieth
"Bah! Pirates beat ninjas every time!"
She then mentions to Sejanus, "I really need to work on my summoning spells more. I would have thought that Celestial hawk would have worked against Scourge."

Will Morgan continue shooting at the poor wounded gnome?
Genade identifies a Potion of Blur(CL 3) and a +0 Tidewater Cutlass.
Morgan 'Sharky' Teach
Sorry was going to post this morning, but then car died before nursery run and work, so all that crap delayed it.
"Fine Patch run, but you won't get far for my evil is upon you"
Cursing the ninja, Morgan draws his bow until the arrow's fletches tickle against his cheek. Feeling the rocking of the ship below him he times his shot almost perfectly and the missile flies forward to lance into the unlucky ninja.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 26
Dmg: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 11
Invoke Freebooter's bane again and shoot. Have assumed now outside 30ft, so no point blank, but Freebooter's bane instead.
It would appear Morgan likes to wait until he is the centre of attention before making his best shots! Rather than normal combat! I may have to make that part of his character I think!
Diamondust
The Gnome falls to the bottom of the boat as it drifts slowly away on the waves.
"There's a man I know at a dry dock not 3 days from here. We were going to go there and refit the ship to make it unrecognisable. You'll need me to make the deal with him. He owes me." Scourge reveals the details of Plugg's former plan to steal the ship from Harrigan and engage in piracy for themselves.
Dr. Genade
"This is a nice blade, despite it's looks. Who wants it?" He describes its abilities. "I'm not quite certain about these." he says holding up the shackles. He turns to the other spellcasters, "Care to take a look?"
Reinald Malcoms
"We still need the boat." Reinald looks off in the direction of the small boat floating away."[/b]
"Many of us use a cutlass. We've yet to VOTE a captain. The handle on the tiller can keep it or give it to who they please."
Morgan 'Sharky' Teach
"Alright, I'll go. But save me some o' that armour and don't be deciding no captaincy or or plan afore I say my piece. Oh and this counts as me bath for the month."
Dropping his bow and stripping off his bandolier, Morgan wedges his boarding axe firmly in his belt and makes a rather ungainly dive into the sea before beginning to swim slowly towards the boat.
Swim: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Reinald Malcoms
"Take a life line so we can pull you back."
Diamondust
Make more swim checks. DC is 15. You need to make 2 consecutive checks.
Fishguts and the rest of your allies that were below come up the stairs, happy to see victory with minimal casualties achieved. Rosie points her Cutlass at Scourge, "I say we make him walk the plank. Conchobhar would love to be here to see that I think. What do we do with the rest of them we knocked out?"
Sejanus Corvus
"No! He doesn't walk the plank. That is too good for him." Sejanus motions to a deckhand. "Find a length of chain! We're going to string him up, and I'm going to burn him alive." He looks at Scourge, points at him, and smiles. "I'm keeping your skull, Mr. Scourge. I'm going to turn it into a little souvenir."
Dr. Genade
If Plugg is still technically alive, Genade will finish him off.
Coup de Grace: 2d4 + 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 3) + (2) + 2 = 11
"The rest of the crew? Easy. We ask them one at a time which crew they want to join, ours, or Plugg's." the doctor says as he shoves the late captain's stripped corpse over the side. "If any of them give us any trouble later on, they can switch crews."
Morgan 'Sharky' Teach
I wasn't sure how many and against what so just rolled the one to show willing. :) Here we go
Swim1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Swim2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Swim3: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Swim4: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
After landing poorly and winding himself on the dive, Morgan finds he has to tread water and catch his breath before shooting off after the boat. As he approaches it, he readies his axe in case Patch still lives before closing the last distance.
[spoiler=Assuming Patch is dead or incapacitated] Once aboard the rowboat, Morgan buries his axe in Patch to make sure he is dead, before rowing back to the ship. As the boat nears the ship snippets of conversation can be heard on the breeze as he talks to Patch's body. "...I did tell you.... you are probably better... this way ... your mother say.." As he comes alongside he calls aloft "Ahoy, give us a hand! I've done my bit now."

I thought Kip and Plugg had already been thrown over.
Reinald helps get the life boat and Sharky back aboard.
Diamondust
You see Patch unconscious in the bottom of the boat but still breathing and her life is easily finished. It takes about 5 minutes to get it back to The Man's Promise and even more time to hoist and resecure.

Jord Sturmsson
Jord will busy himself with things on board, (Helping Morgan, fixing up damage to the ship, gathering weapons etc.) trying to ignore the casual finishing off of the subdued pirates.
He mutters prayers under his breath as he works "Please forgive them and myself lord Kurgess for these lives being taken, I will try to channel these souls into more goodly behaviours."
Morgan 'Sharky' Teach
Not sure if you guys are wanting to roleplay anything else whilst I am rowing back so I have stuck it in a spoiler
Dr. Genade
Replying to Sharky if nothing else happens first
"Back to Barnabas? Are you serious?" the doctor replies, "We have a perfect opportunity to be our own masters here! I say we take it."
Reinald Malcoms
Has all the crew come up including the unconscious ones?
Reinald looks at the others, "Let's get those who were with us together and we can decide how we want to procede."
Jord Sturmsson
"Aye i'm for being our own masters, pirates are a little too loose with morals for my liking, getting stabbed in the back is no fun."
Says Jord in his typical deep voice
Reinald Malcoms
Reinald looks about he smiles, "Depends on the crew Jord. We have a ship. I have seen most of you and we can sail it. We just need to settle on who we want as captain." He looks to Jerieth, "I am sure a lady of the Andorean navy can stomach a vote." He winks. "I see no reason to count those unconscious among the vote. The paid no blood price in taking the ship. We can offer them life for work and drop them at port if they can follow orders. But we here who braved the hazard have a stake.." He points to Jerieth has put her name in for captain, "I've no stake to hide I would take the tiller if the vote approves. Are there any other names who wish consideration."
Dr. Genade
"I am certainly not management material," the doctor scoffs, "don't consider me for the job. I would like to pursue several avenues of medical research alongside my shipboard duties. My vote will go with whoever will not interrupt my experiments with menial tasks."
Jord Sturmsson
"I'll put my hand up, with Kurgess strength behind me a few handy spells here and there and my knowledge of the sea and ships, I think I can make a great captain."
Reinald Malcoms
Reinald looks at those gathered, "You fought and bleed along with all of us. That should be all you need know." He looks to Dr. Genade, "I take your learning as meaning you can count. Can you manage the tally." He looks at Jord and Jerieth, "I'll hold no ill will for votes thrown for either show of hands is the fastest. Otherwise we need chips or paper."
Dr. Genade
"That's enough time for thinking then." Genade calls out, "All in favor of Jord Sturmsson, raise a hand and say 'AYE'."
He will continue and call out all three names in this fashion
Jerieth
"No offense Jord but I think that I might make a better captain than you. Although depending on how the voting goes I'm happy to take the rank of co-captain!"
Tossing her long braided hair back over her shoulder, she raises her hand and yells, "One vote for Jerieth, and that's me!"
Reinald Malcoms
When the time comes Reinald lifts his hat in his hand, "Aye." He waits to see results, chuckling he looks at Jerieth, "Are you sure Co-Captain in the Taldan navy has very precise duties."
Morgan 'Sharky' Teach
"I be laying my vote for Reinald, but I could be persuaded to change that." with which Morgan leers at Jerieth.
Jord Sturmsson
This happens after the rest of the crew has spoken, assuming they don't elevate Jord into the role of captain
Stepping up and taking on an almost uncommonly serious look
"Firstly thankyou Sejanus my friend for your vote of confidence, but to eliminate any further arguing, I also vote for Reinald as Captain, but I do advise that he makes use of Jerieths vast experience in all matters sea worthy."
Jerieth
"Aw, how sweet!"
She does a graceful bow towards Jord, while raising an eyebrow towards Morgan.
"I appreciate the praise. I've been around the seas a good bit, so I do have a lot of experience in the ways of the sea."
She then kissed Sandara on the cheek, adding, "As well as the ability to woo beautiful men and women into bed with me. And besides, if anything I say that I elect both Jord and Sandara as a ship clerics. I think both Kurgess and Besmara were looking out for us today."
Reinald Malcoms
I think we might need to hunt for our GM. Judging from the campaign info tab. Looks like the info is tagged to people not us as a group so that when this vote hit they would back the person that they were helpful to. Fishguts was closest with Kanula. Owlbear would vote Jord, Sandara would vote Jerieth, Rosie would back whoever Sejanus voted for which was Jord and Tilly would back Reinald. That puts the count Jord at 3, Jerieth 2 and Reinald 4. That doesn't change the results from above but I figured it would give us a picture of the NPCs.
Reinald nods holds his hat in front of him. "When folk bleed with and for you something real connects them." He looks at the lifting his voice enjoying the crew's victory, "The ship is ours. We can name her when the muse descends."
Reinald chuckles, "2 scroll thumpers. Double the blessings."
