Lirianne Urthadar
|
Lirianne rushes behind the large rock and steadies her pistol, unloading a shot at the flaming pegasus.
"Linarra," she calls out. "What the hell are you doing over there?"
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16 (Bless and Point Blank Shot)
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
Move Action: Move 15 feet.
Standard Action: Attack pegasus.
Oswin Durnhelm
|
If the pegasus survives Lirianne's bullet
"Let's take this beast down! Fredrick, you're faster than I am, can you go help Linarra? Maybe a Protection spell will bring her back to her senses!"
Oswin draws his sword and strikes at the hideous undead Pegasus.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 7 + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
If the Pegasus dies, I should be able to double-move right behind Linarra, one square north of her. Trying to get in position to cast Protection from Evil.

Sorry, hard week at work.
Fear not Riddywipple, Pharasma shall free your friends. Fredrik says while starting his praying and moving forward. On my way. He whispers under his breath.
Standart action: starts sermonic performance, move action: moves 30ft forward in the direction of Linarra.

Oswin Durnhelm
|
"Varathon! Lirianne! Linarra's best hope is probably if you can kill that creature in the water! I won't be much use with my bulky armor and I don't know if she can last until I can reach her!"
Oswin will try to move as close as he can without needing to swim.
Oswin Durnhelm
|
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Oswin spies the creature again. He removes and drops his shield [move action], drops his sword on the ground behind him [free action], grabs his sling [free action] and loads it with a bullet [move action].
Lirianne Urthadar
|
Lirianne finally spots the likely reason for her companion's strange behavior. She rushes to the edge of the water and squints to focus her aim before unloading a shot at the fey.
Move Action: Move 15 feet.
Standard Action: Attack fey (Deadeye, -1 grit)
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 (Bless, Sermonic Performance, Range Increment: -2 attack)
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
I used the Deadeye grit deed to attack against the fey's touch AC even though I am two range increments away.

Can I charge to Linarra, stoping in the hex behind her, and grapple her?
If its not possible I will just double move to that hex.
Just in case:
Grapple: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 2 = 20
Wake up sister! Fredrik says touching the warrior's shoulder.
Varathon
|
Varathon will move 30 ft toward the lake. During the move he will take out his longbow and attempt to shoot the fey. If he sees the beast
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
"By Nethys Black face! I can't see it!!"
Varathon will use his standard to try to determine what is effecting Linarra.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Varathon
|
On his initiative, Varathon will move up to the shoreline and attempt to spot the Kepie.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
"I see it now, tough shot..."
Varathon aims with his longbow and...
Longbow Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 79
Longbow Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Varathon overcompensates for the effect of the water refraction and misses the Kepie.
Updated map, I think for where Varathon should be.

Realizing that her pistols were not going to do it this time, Lirianne drops her pack and unhooks her belt pouch and holster, placing them on the shore.
"Hold on, Linarra," she says, diving into the water and swimming toward the enthralled fighter.
Move Action: Drop gear.
Standard Action: Swim.
Swim: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 (Doh!)
Varathon
|
On the next round after Oswin goes, Varathon will drop his longbow on the ground and cast an Enlarge Person spell on Fredrik.
It's a full round casting time, so will go off the following round after everyone else goes again. Hopefully the +2 strength bonus and doubling of height will help with the whole drowning situation.
Fredrik Greymantle

Guys, Fredrik doesn't know how to swim and I got a -2 from armor making my check a zero bonus. Isn't there any one better equipped for this task?
DM@: If I can climb out I will. Do I need to roll climb check? If I do this is it just a move action or a standart?
Varathon
|
Varathon will cast Enlarge Person on Lirianne instead of on Fredrik when it gets to his initiative.
cool beans Fredrik, just assumed you were going in to pull Linarra out of there

Water! Why did it have to be water?! Again!
Swim: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Couching water Fredrik steps back to the shore and asks Pharasma for support invoking her divine power.
BEHOLD the mercy of the blue lady! COME, come! Come to me and be blessed!
Move action: swim back, stardart action: Spontaneous cast Command: Approuch on Linarra. Will DC 14 if she chooses to resist it which I dont think she will. Spell exchanged=Shield of Faith.
I am trying... Hope it works.
EDIT: How do I save my movement in the map? Everytime I move Fredrik and reload the link he is back in his initial position.
Linarra Del Voix

Press enter after moving your token I believe. I'll fumble the will save, what happens?
Swim check: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Lirianne Urthadar
|
Shocked by her sudden change in size, Lirianne flutters about near the shore, her massive legs and feet dragging along the bottom.
"What in the world?," she exclaims in disgust. "Magic!"
Move Action: Swim.
Swim: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Lirianne hates magic, so this whole situation is a nightmare. The dice roller is apparently in on the roleplaying of this with its terrible rolls. Can I use my standard action to attempt to swim again?

CASTING

EFFECT

Target one living creature
Duration 1 round
Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes
DESCRIPTION
You give the subject a single command, which it obeys to the best of its ability at its earliest opportunity. You may select from the following options.
Approach: On its turn, the subject moves toward you as quickly and directly as possible for 1 round. The creature may do nothing but move during its turn, and it provokes attacks of opportunity for this movement as normal.
Drop: On its turn, the subject drops whatever it is holding. It can't pick up any dropped item until its next turn.
Fall: On its turn, the subject falls to the ground and remains prone for 1 round. It may act normally while prone but takes any appropriate penalties.
Flee: On its turn, the subject moves away from you as quickly as possible for 1 round. It may do nothing but move during its turn, and it provokes attacks of opportunity for this movement as normal.
Halt: The subject stands in place for 1 round. It may not take any actions but is not considered helpless.
If the subject can't carry out your command on its next turn, the spell automatically fails.
This is the spell's description. If it works you will have to double move directly to me on your turn, I hope it does.

I know what command does, it's a good idea, I'm just not sure how it interacts with the captivating voice effect. Opposed Charisma check perhaps? We'll see what the GM says.

Oswin Durnhelm
|
Oswin drops his sling [free action]. He then grabs his sword [move action that provokes]. He then grabs the longsword in both hands and swings at the creature. [standard action]
Sword is magic, but no special material.
Longsword, 2-handed: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 7 + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Varathon
|
Varathon's Enlarge Person spell on Lirianne goes off at the start of Varathon's Initiative
(Gives +2 Str, -2 Dex, Large scale damage to weapons and reach, 10 ft by 10ft character square, -1 size modifer to attacks & +1 size modifer to CMB for 3 minutes. See spell for more details)
Varathon will 5 ft step back and then cast Color Spray such that only the Kelpie is effected in the 15 ft spread. The Will Save DC is 15. If he fails and is 5 HD or more, he will be stunned for one round. I assume he/she is 5 HD or greater.

Lirianne fully feels the effects of the wizard's spell as her swim strokes move her closer and closer to Linarra.
"Hold on," she shouts. "Almost there!"
Swim: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Swim: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
