Horrified by the sudden turn of events Abigail has no immediate answer for the thugs attack, taken aback from memories of her recent dealings with the other agents of the new mayor who took her family away.
After they reach and viciously attack the strange woman and her dog though Abigail shakes out of her trance and finds the willpower to fight back against the opressor's agents!
In one fluid motion she uncovers her light corssbow, loaded well in advance just in case she met with trouble on her way to the rally, and shoots at the thug who wasn't able to join the fray yet. Her aim proves true and the thug shrieks loudly as the bolt finds its mark sinking deeply into the man thigh!

As the makeshift group of would be revolutionaries and rebels fends off the assault of the chelish citizen's thugs they notice a new drama unfolding not far from their position a tall woman wearing black and carrying a huge glaive comes out of the Opera House with 2 well armed dottari guards at her sides. She projects an aura of power around herself and it's immediately clear she's a figure of authority among Thrune forces.
Somethimes being immediately recognizable is not a good thing though. As the woman emerges, one of the nearby anarchists fighting the chelish citizen's group partisans notices her and manages to slip away from his opponent sending a dagger flying towards her throat! His action meets with spectacular results as the blade sings deeply into the woman's neck, but then something incredible happens: the dottari leader barely flinches as her hand raises to the dagger's hilt yanking it out of her neck, a few droplets of blood where should have been a river instead. Under your incredolous eyes you clearly notice the garish wound knitting itself close and the leather clad woman throwing back the dagger at the insurgent hitting him straight in the chest with such force he is slammed down on the plaza's pavement, where he lies, dead on the spot!
The woman then barks an order to her two guards and with slow and deliberate steps she heads back inside the Opera House while the dottari start moving towards the nearest rebels...

All of this is over in flash and there's no time to dwell on it as the thugs seem ready to renew the ostilities!

Before I make my move am I able to tumble five feet back? tumble lets me move through a threatened square at half speed without provoking an opportunity attack. it's acrobatics vs. opponents CMD. I figure between the DT and tumble's half speed, I'd only get 1 square which is all i need to shoot my bow.

Shadow Lodge

MAP

You need a move action to get back one square and that provokes due to DT. You want to use acrobatics to avoid the AoO and I think it's ok but the nature of the terrain makes this more difficult than it would otherwise be. So take your acrobatics check against the opponent CMD + 2 for the equivalent of "slightly unsteady surface". In other words you need to beat DC 15 in order to avoid the enemy AoOs (remember you are threatened by 2 opponents).
Also note you'll be spending your whole move action with this maneuver

Is it generally OK for you, if those who start the turn post immediatly after all those who end the turn (if no enemies are inbetween)? This way we don't have to wait for your "Go".

"VARRO!" Isabella shouted as she watched her faithful wolfdog collapse. Her eyes narrowed and her pupils turned to slits. She turned towards her foes and roared. Aerodus moves forward through the crowd, ready to join the battle in melee, but once the Dottari appear with bows aimed at the group, he realizes it is not the time to continue this farce.
He lets his dagger fall onto the ground, still holding his crossbow in the other hand and begins to cast a spell.

"Friends, I think it is time to reatreat. But there will be a time to get our mint!"
After adding some magical words to this, his outstretched hand appears to dissolve into fog, which swiftly embraces him and a sizeable chunk of the riot.

Aerodus casts Obscuing mist, which means a big penalty to ranged attacks and most importantly, a great chance to escape alive ;)

"Are you alright?" Veccio calls to Mel in alarm as she screams, twisting to face her and narrowly avoiding a blow from a mace in the process. Stunned by his luck, he turns to the Dottari with the mace, then the one with the longbow. "Come on, then! I'll take you both on!" he roars with glee, flicking his rapier at the one before him.

At the same time Isabella once again manages to slip away from the thug menacing her and fires her bow at the Thrune lapdog, yet this time her aim is far from perfect and she misses. Whether the bastard's down or not, there's not much Meliandri can do about it anymore, so she starts thinking about how to extract herself from the situation. She takes a breath to try to still her still-throbbing head before rushing across to Veccio, simply hoping the thug menacing the I'm not sure which faction they are is too busy to finish her off. As she moves, she begins to shout again, steeling her throbbing head against the noise and hoping the magic's not gone from her words. "YOU CAN SEE ZEE VIOLENCE...ZEE VIOLENCE JUST BELOW 'ELL'S 'ORDER' AND 'RESPONSIBILITY'! ZEES EEZ ZEE FATE OF ANY 'O CANNOT FALL INTO LOCKSTEP!"

Move Action: Move. I wasn't paying attention and dropped the ball on my performance last round, but I'll spend a free action hoping the magic's still there anyways!

Abigail I noticed you didn't move your token, I assume you want to do that but couldn't do it for some reason? Since you are not hindered by the crowds around you (same as Mel), you can get out of the plaza right now. Is that what you want to do?

Abigail makes her way towards the edge of the Park, just a few steps away from the chaos and danger of the riot.

Aerodus tries to get behind Izzy, encouraging her the way priests of Asmodeus do such things but the thug sees him and tries to bash his head in!

AoO roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 -> Damage roll: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

But once again he fails miserably!

Those nice people getting beaten on are Kintargan partisans Mel

Meanwhile Meliandri manages to slip away despite the wounds she received but before departing the park she decides to send her regards to the thug who tried to cave her head in...

Will save (thug): 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19

The thug shrugs the spell off without even noticing though...

The two dottari try to reach the fray but only one of them suceeds and attacks Isabella while the other prepares to do the same in a few moments.

Dottari guard (green) attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 -> Dottari guard (green) Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Miracolously once again the guard fails to connect.

Varro:
[HP 19/19] [AC 15; T 13; FF12] [Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +2]

Izzy leans back as the dottari attempts to attack her. She snarls, teeth bared. "Leave us alone!" She shouts, her voice seeming strained from the overwhealming pressence of the guards. She attempts to retreat slightly before attacking the thug that has so far dodged her every attack.

acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

attack vs. blue: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

So is inspire back up or not? If it is my atk and dmg are 1 higher. Well I think I finally hit but I may have taken two AoOs in the process...

wait, mist, damn. I have to roll concealment too, don't I?

concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 15

and that's a miss...

CN Female Half-Elf Bard 2 | HP 17/17 | AC 16, T 13, FF 13 | F 3, R 7, W 3 ( +2 vs. Enchantment, +4 vs. Charm/Compulsion+4 vs. Sonic, Language Dependent, and BP effects.) | Init +2 | Per +7 (Low-Light Vision), BP Rounds Used: 11/11

I'd prefer to have Inspire up, but it's up to the GM at this point. I let it lapse, but I didn't really intend to, so it's whatever.

If you want inspire up, then it is up... Meliandri please remind me how many round are left of it?

Again Isabella tries to slip away from her opponent and shoot the enemy but they, getting used to this strategy, react quickly...

AoO Guard (green): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 -> Damage roll: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
AoO Thug (blue): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 -> Damage roll: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

But it's no use! Once again Isabella barely suceeds avoiding the enemy weapons and saves herself from harm. What's different is that this time her aim is spot on and she's finally able to hit the last thug square in the chest dropping him down on the pavement!

And he's down! But he did his job admirably... Asmodeus will be pleased!

Btw the thug had AC 13 and was left with 2 hps

I figured his HP was 10 since Varro did 10 of his crit and knocked one out. So happy I have the tiger spirit up. So so so so soooooooo happy.

Seeing the pesky man finally fall onto the ground, Aerodus sighs and moves towards the dog, scroll in hand. Hidden between the crowd, he works its magic to revive the dog, wondering if that woman is really worth this.

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

"There. Now make sure we get away safely." he says to her in a calm but firm voice.

Head throbbing, Meliandri loses track of her speech. Instead, as she pulls the crossbow off her backpack, she screams a hoarse scream at the closest dottari. "LEAVE US ALONE! LEAVE US ALL ALONE! DO YOU 'AVE ANY IDEA 'OO I AM? MY FATHER WEEL 'AVE YOUR CAREERS FOR ZEES! DO NOT BE MAKING EET WORSE FOR YOURSELVES!"

Intimidate (demoralize): 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 2 = 24 (The +2 is if Chelish citizens)

As she finishes shouting, her voice cracks, and she grabs Veccio's swordless hand and begins pulling him away from the fighting. Blood drips from her nose and onto her armor, but she does her best to ignore it.

Standard: Intimidate to demoralize the green dottari
Move: Move to the far side of Veccio

Veccio keeps his rapier in hand, watching the chaos intently. "Go!" he hisses frantically to Mel. "I'll defend you if they follow!"

Ready a standard action to attack anyone who comes into melee range. Feel free to roll it for me if it happens.

Feeling others are fleeing the scene, Abigail turns one last time. She's taken by the spectacle, dottaris and other thugs acting against the people of Kintargo.

Protest met with violence. This is not the Kintargo I know... she thinks, and wishes to head back to the plaza, but she knows it's no use and only her family would really suffer.

I need to be more subtle than this. Open protest doesn't work. I need to do things differently. I need allies!

Seeing others escape the park, she waves for them to follow her through the streets: "Let's hurry before they notice us and give chase! Better to stay together for now." she pleads.

Sorry for posting this late. It was a busy day

Aerodus marches near Varro's prone form and unleashes his healing magic. The wolf immediately revives and emits a low growl towards the advancing dottari.

Meliandri while safely far away from the dottari starts to bully them. Her not so veiled threats seem to suceed at making two a bit uneasier, especially the green clad one.
Green dottari guard shaken for 3 turns

With anyone you mean "anyone hostile" right Veccio? :P
Veccio stands his ground and prepares to cover his newly found friends retreat.

Abigail too decides to wait before making her grand escape from Aria Park.

Meanwhile the riot has only increased in intensity the fiercest fighting by far being near the gates of the opera house.

The dottari march forward determined to bring the rebel scum who disabled so many of the collaborationists thugs to heel. In their zeal they forget about Varro, considering it nothing more than a pet and the wolf and attack the remaining rebels: the one in green aiming for the excomunicated priest of Asmodeus while the other pointing her mace at the wild woman's head. Unfortunately the two could have made a grave mistake when dismissing good old Varro as the wolf...

AoO Varro vs guard green: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 -> Damage roll: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Varro critical confirmation roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 -> Damage roll: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

... bites savagely on the guard's ankle making her scream in pain just before she tries to slam her mace against Aerodus' skull.

Guard (green) vs Aerodus: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 - 2 = 13 -> Damage roll: 1d8 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 - 2 = 3

Guard (orange) vs Izzy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 -> Damage roll: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

But once again their attacks miss their intended targets.

Meliandri keeps talking as she steps away from the fighting. [/smaller]"O' Goddess, I am going to be 'unted like a rat. I never meant to be killing 'im..."[smaller] As she goes, she turns to look back before shouting again. "WE 'AVE TO GO! ZEES EEZ 'OPELESS!"

Move Action: Move

As she goes, she holds up her rapier, looking at her face in the slender blade. This won't do at all. She mutters a quick "Venustas" and passes her free hand over face, clothes, and sword, magically scrubbing them clean.

Standard Action: Prestidigitate

I don't really see any clean shots nearby, but I don't want to completely leave the fray until everyone's at least heading for the exits.

"Let's get out of here!" Abigail repeats, but this time, she waits no longer.
