For now, please post with the alias you are going to be playing with, the following info. I will ask again towards the end to reconfirm it, so if there is anything you purchased throughout or any changes you want to make, there will be time. :)
Player Name/Nickname - Character Name - PFS Number - Faction
Day Job Roll <please give me the actual roll, or state none>
Any special notes for the Chronicle Sheet or expensive/major purchases.
Example:
DM Beckett - Salubri - 1,234-5 - Silver Crusade
random roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
2PP for a wand of CLW, 10PP on _________ Vanity, (*also please note my "special romantic encounter with ________" for flavor, or super-critted the BBEG, or was able to complete a portion of my character's background quest)
now that I have started to clear out some of my other games and am a lot less overwhelmed, I hope to be able to add in little personalizations and cool, little bits and trophies, a lot more. Ask Thoril for an example, (in the Recruitment Thread for now), if anyone is interested.

Ben Jolly - Mors Buolgun - 121383-4 - Silver Crusade
Day Job Roll : none
I've been tracking purchases on Tracking Sheets (which are available in my linked google drive folder). Is that fine? Or do you want me to show them here?
What kind of details do you want?
Mordack Dune
|
doublegold-Mordack Dune-135676 Osirion, or whatever that replacement is called now.
craft armor: 9 + 1d20 ⇒ 9 + (20) = 29
for purchases, I don't think I have anything recorded on my chronicle sheets, but I don't have anything purchased that I didn't find, or can't purchase through fame, and I have a section called gear that shows my gear and gold if you have doubts. And all of my chronicle sheets, if you actually want to go through a gold evaluation of adding them altogether and subtracting what I show purchased in gear. I only have 2 chronicle sheets and the 3rd on its way, so it wouldn't be hassle at this point.

Well, we where supposed to have 7, a full table, but so far, only 4 have checked in. I'll PM everyone soon, and let you know.
Thoril, I gotta ask ... how are you rocking a 19 AC? That's impressive!
Looks like a slight miscalculation. Underfoot, (I think) gives a +1 vs larger enemies, but it says +2 under AC, and it looks like he included it in the base AC. So I think it should be 17 (18 vs medium or larger enemies). <+4 Armor, +2 Dex, +1 Size>

Got my 3rd chronicle sheet, only it has mistakes on it because the dm filled it out as if I only played one game instead of 2. Anyway, I'm sure I'm level 3, because that would put me at 7 xp.

I am amazed. This is the most diverse full party i have ever played with. I am excited to see what happens
So, we have a halfling, a hair-trigger pyromaniac gnome, a halfling who thinks he’s a giant, an elf who thinks he’s an orc, a human who thinks he's a demon (or is that a demon who thinks he's a human?), a convicted murderer half-orc who thinks he’s the moral compass, and a tiefling who thinks he’s smarter than the rest of the party, all of their deities, and the rest of Golarion combined.
… good call, Thoril. This really should be exciting.
Mordack Dune

Technically speaking he is a Demon and Human. Demonic soul in a human body. Reincarnation type of theme. He is hiding from the other Demons in hell or some other plane of existence that he rebelled against.

DM, my last chronicle sheet, the glass river rescue is updated, it has everything recorded on there, including my total gold, my total xp, my total pp and my total fame. As well as the purchases that needed recorded to my character that weren't recorded in the first place.

I'm mostly just working on maps and monster minis. We had a Dm kind of go MIA too, and I inherited the game so the table wasn't just left hanging, but stuck trying to make it a non tpk. I'm wanting to try for by this weekend, but maybe earlier.

Oof. That sucks for those players, but it was kind of you to step in and help them out. I actually had that happen on the Confirmation game for Mors. Luckily one of the players stepped up to finish it out for us.
Good on ya, Beckett. Let us know if we can help you prep in any way. :)

Ok, I still need Leb, Mahd, and Thaddeus to post the information for me to apply to their Chronicle sheets. I'm also going to roll a for a Boon, and if you are noted as winning, please add your Email address as well.(The VC will email you the Boon directly).
Thoril, I think your AC may be off. I am not sure if the +1 vs larger opponents should be +1 or +2. It looks like it should be 17 normally, and 18 vs Medium or larger enemies. It that's correct, can I get you to change it to 17 (18 vs Med+), or something along those lines. From what I see on a quick look, it is +4 Armor, +2 Dex, +1 Size, (+1 vs larger). If I'm missing something, just let me know. Like I said, quick look through.
Beyond that, I do not need to see your past Chronicle Sheets unless I have a question about something really. So don't worry about getting them to me. I basically just use the honor system. Not that I think anyone is going to cheat, but there are ways to cheat, and if you know them, nothing is really going to stop you. Heck, 3 of the big ones are in the core book, and start with Drui, Sorcere, and Wizzar. :)
Sorry if that came off as negative, it wasn't really meant that way. Really, the take away is that I'm trusting you to play your character right.
My plan is to be ready to go in about 2 days from this post. The other game was sort of an on the spot thing. I've been in a game, one of my first as a PbP player in fact when we where all just sort of left hanging, <by a VC no less>, and I literally had to give the players Chronicles because no one was able to get any response from the DM, (who was otherwise active in other threads). In this case, the DM has been mia for about 3 weeks from the boards, and kind of left the party in some pretty dire straights (tpk land <Silver Mount Collection, if you know what I mean>). I just couldn't let that sort of thing happen again to others. :)

I have the halfling trait underfoot give my +1 def and ref against larger foes :p otherwise you are correct, 19 against larger foes 17 small or smaller.. Quick question do those bonuses apply against flat footed and touch i would think yes but unsure

Nathan Brown (sarpadian)-Leb Unin-133867-3 -Liberty's Edge

DM Beckett

Ok, looks like we have a full table. I'm just waiting on Mahd (PM'd) and I think we can begin. Thad, just remind me and you can Take 10.
Also, how much town exploration would you like to do in game? We can sort of rush through it, and I can give some basics, or you can sort of start there and find out in game.
Boon Roll-Off
Leb: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Mahd: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Mordack: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Mors: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Retty: 1d20 ⇒ 20 <Retty Wins a Boon>
Thaddeus: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Thoril: 1d20 ⇒ 18
DM: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Wow, I'm 3 for 3 for players winning a Boon in my games.

I'm happy to RP through the stuff that's more-or-less relevant to what our heroes are doing there. I don't want to run off down every flavorful rabbit-trail, but I'm not necessarily voting for simply following the string of storyless encounters directly to the end, either.
So ... somewhere in the middle? So we can enjoy a bit of what was written but can roll through the adventure at a good clip?
EDIT: and hey! Congrats, Retty!

I like the story well told. Any extra roleplaying that isn't part of the story, I don't care as much as roleplay in the story. Like interacting with npcs in a bar, when there are no important NPCs to interact with. If this was a table-top I'd be all for the extra stuff. I do like the idea of roleplay adding negatives or positives to your bluffs and diplomacies, like if the bluff is unlikely you can do a -5, but I don't like idea of roleplay replacing the rolls too much, since a lot of that stuff is opionated.

I was thinking more along the line of "retuning this as a PFS mission".

The module itself is not Pathfinder related at all. It's not too terribly difficult to change it, and the flavor fits pretty well.

Can I purchase a chakram
Sure, no problem.
Nvm ... just some studded leather for "non-adventuring" days (can't afford the specific tattoo I wanted).
No worries. I imagine that for both this and Mahd's chakram, you can easily find thee in the few day you have been stuck in the town.
Do I start each Scenario/AP with starting gold and the gold from my last mission or only of the two?
Basically what Thaddeus said. Just like in a normal game, you just keep adding to your GP after each game and then subtracting from when you buy things. Any time before you level up to 2, you can fully rebuild your character. You keep all the stuff from the Chronicle Sheets, (which literally means there is no reason to track wands at level 1) and just add up all the money you have gotten (150 + Chronicles) and start from scratch. But, not counting that, everyone starts with 150 GP (starting money), to use for whatever you can afford (and that is legal for purchase).
Whatever is left from that is then added to the money you just got. Any purchases you make, either in game or in between adventures comes from that pool. It doesn't reset. Once you have bought something, you loose that money and gain that item permanently, or until used for things like potions.

I just wanted to give everyone a status update. Having a bit of trouble prepping as I misread some things. It turns out that the PFS version skips the first encounter completely, so I'm trying to reread things to make sense without that first part and also not including the later parts.
The portions about Mr. Gibbs being arrested isn't really pertinent, it was just a hook to get everyone here, and in the module, the intro is a large sandbox setup to allow players to begin to get clues for later on, but most do not apply here and will really just confuse things.
Not going to be too much longer, I just didn't foresee this when I originally posted that intro.
Mordack Dune

Can we do the first encounter anyway and first part of it anyway just for the fun of it?
Like, because it isn't part of PFS, we didn't use up any spells, we didn't lose any HP, we didn't use any arrows, etc. We did for the purposes of that combat and that part of it but after that combat and after all that prequel stuff, we get everything back as if none of that ever happened. And if in the small chance we die in this first encounter, we really did not die because it is not part of the PFS game.
Like do that part of it, then tell us where the official PFS game starts, saying okay the game starts here, so we heal ourselves and recharge our spells to full as if we had not played that part of it.

Mahd, I think Beckett is just a little delayed in converting this for PFS. I'm sure our roll attempts will either be resolved a the first opportunity, or hand-waved as we move on. Until then, I think we are limited to role-play (talking amongst ourselves in-character,) or just patience as we wait for things to kick off, again.
