Taurgreth lets Karla examine the device he was reaching for, which appears to be a typical smoke bomb.

"A very long while it has been, indeed," Gendowyn says, studying Wulfram thoughtfully. After a few moments, she nods and smiles. "I have decided to thank you for liberating me from my prison. You have my immortal gratitude, and my friendship, for the remainder of your natural lives. Ah, I see you have brought my scepter to me!"

She holds out her hand, and Dryad's Song appears in her hand. At her touch, the corrupted artifact is purified, becoming a gleaming, gold scepter with elegant boughs and leaves blooming into a minitaure, flowered treetop at the end. She waves it in front of her, and the world shifts around you as you find the glaistig has teleported all of you to the ruins of her palace on the surface. She frowns as she surveys the damage.

"Hmm. I fear it will take quite a while to undo the damage Arlantia caused to my forest. But I will aid you in any way that I can. What is it you wish from me?"

Karla shifts her gaze swiftly to detect the arcane energies, if any, residing in the ball Taurgreth gave her. For now, that's all she does, for she doesn't wish to interrupt Gendowyn.

When they are transported to the surface, she looks at Gendowyn and laughs with joy and happiness, swirls and twists, then realizes she still appears as a nasty dragon, so shifts immediately back to her natural form, then laughs once more and spins and dances, crying with joy.

Wulfram told Gendowyn, "Our lands have been invaded by the Ironfang Legion, which Taurgreth here belongs to. They stole an artifact known as the Onyx Key from the dwarves of Kraggodan. This artifact has allowed them to gain control of a network of extra-dimensional tunnels known as the Stone Roads. This has enabled them to move their troops into our towns without warning, and overrun our homes and enslave many of our people.

"We need to travel to the elemental plane of earth, where the Onyx Citadel is located, and wrest control from the Legion; then we will be able to liberate our lands and people. But to travel to the Onyx Citadel, we need the Sardonyx Shard. Will you help us?"

Eustoma is so happy to be at the surface. She laughs and dances with Karla after she turns back into herself. "I am so happy to see the sky, and the grass."

She turns to Gendowyn, "I'm so happy to be up here. Thank you. We are happy to have helped you, and I'm sorry that we had to hurt your people. We do need that shard in order to free all of this area from the Iron Legion."

Gendowyn removes the crown from her head and shatters it, freeing the sardonyx shard. "The shard is yours. Take it with my blessings. I know not what this Ironfang Legion is, or where their Onyx Citadel might lie, but I hope the shard helps you achieve your goals. Today you freed a legacy and earned the gratitude of a goddess—far more in a day than most of your kind accomplish in the momentary glimpse of life granted to them. Treasure this moment."

She turns back to the ruins of her palace. "Now I must turn my attention to restoring myself and my home to its proper glory. I shall push back the Darkblight and dispatch messengers to the far corners of the Fangwood to sing of my return. The fey of the forest will join me in time, but I fear it will be many months before I command even a small army to send to your aid. You are welcome to stay in the palace for up to a week and a day before you move on."

Gendowyn whistles, and after a few moments, a tiny atomie flutters forward and curtseys before the earth princess. "This is Gossamer. She will act as liaison between myself and your forces. She will tend to whatever you need while you stay here as well."

Gossamer turns her gaze on you. "Hey! Nice to meet ya! Thanks for rescuing the princess! You don't look so tough, though. Bet I can take ya in some fisticuffs!"

"Gossamer!" Gendowyn gently admonishes. "These are our honored guests, and you will treat them as such."

"Of course, princess," the atomie says, though the brash gleam in her eyes doesn't waver.

Wulfram bowed to Gendowyn, "We would be honored to rest in your palace."

He replied to Gossamer respectfully, "I have no doubt that you are a worthy opponent. But out of respect for our host, I must decline your challenge for now."

That evening, he had a well-deserved rest. The extra-dimensional meadow that he had created the previous night had been pleasant enough, but he slepy much better this time, knowing that they didn't face a cataclysmic fight the next day.

In the morning he prayed and contacted Rhyna. With the luxury of no combat to prepare for, he memorized three Sending spells.

First Sending spell:

Vanquished the dark fey princess, and freed the goddess Gendowyn! She must restore her palace, and tend to her realm, before she can send aid.

Second Sending spell.

Gendowyn has given us the sardonyx shard. After a few days' rest, we will head to the Elemental Plane of Earth, and finish this war!

"That's wonderful news! We will need all the help we can get against the Ironfang Legion! I hope this means you'll come home soon."

***

"Come back to Longshadow first. The Forest Marshal himself is on his way to discuss uniting Nirmathas's forces. You must be here for that talk!"

Before the rest...

As their conversation with Gendowyn comes to an end, Karla returns her attention back to Taurgreth. She asks him all about his armies, and his role in the war. She also wonders how he would manage to get back to the Legion once they released him and what projects he had once back in his role.

As she listens, she tries to make up her mind on what to do. The Hobgoblin had a different approach than other Hobgoblins, and she believes she saw a possible path forward that may prevent unnecessary deaths.

Trying to move this forward faster. She will check Taurgreth for magical items. Asking every time to have a look at the item and show appreciation in hearing all about it, before returning it and asking about another item. Let me know if you need some rolls.

Fortunately, Wulfram had prepared a third Sending prayer, so he was able to reply right away, "We should be able to get there fairly quickly. When is he due to arrive? I'm Looking forward to seeing you!"

Wulfram can cast Wind Walk on the entire party now. We would be able to fly at 60 mph for 15 hours.
Or, Karla could teleport us.

Taurgreth is willing to share all sorts of information with his new friend Karla! He reveals that he is General Azaersi's spymaster, serving in the role after the betrayal and death of the medusa Elacnida. Unlike his predecessor, Taurgreth has been happy to stay far from the center of attention, spending much of his time lurking in camps posing as a lowly private or even in human settlements disguised as a traveler or beggar. Taurgreth received permission from Azaersi to assemble his own ring of elite warriors to serve outside the regular chain of command. Azaersi was skeptical at first, and presented Taurgreth with a challenge: seize a Molthuni town without assistance from the Legion and without drawing the wrath of Molthune. Expecting a campaign of blackmail or subversion, Azaersi was shocked when Taurgreth's forces slipped into the tiny farming town of Gillet one night and simply slit the throats of every resident without waking a soul. Humbled by the skill and bluntness Taurgreth and his soldiers displayed, the general has since embraced his agents.

Since then, Taurgreth and his team have undertaken the Legion's most dangerous missions. Their last task, however, proved to be too much even for their elite unit, as Arlantia overwhelmed and enslaved them. The violation of his mind enraged Taurgreth, and he is honestly grateful to Karla for rescuing him. If released, he would make his way back on foot to Phaendar to report back to his superiors. He is not certain what his next mission would be, but he is sure Azaersi would be grateful to see him returned safely.

Taurgreth shows off his gear. Besides a handful of alchemical items, he also has a +3 deathless mithral shirt, his swords Obedience (+3 defending short sword) and Retribution (+2 axiomatic short sword), ng short sword), Retribution (+2 axiomatic short sword), amulet of natural armor +4, belt of physical might +4 (Dex, Con), minor cloak of displacement, hat of disguise, ring of freedom of movement, and a ring of protection +3. He also shows Karla a deck of cards illustrated with risque images of goblinoid men and women, giving her a lurid wink.

Wulfram went to talk to Gwendolyn, while Taurgreth was busy talking to Karla. He asked the fwy queen, "I have a favor to ask of you, your Highness. Would it be possible for you to keep the hobgoblin Taurgreth here at your palace, while we journey to the Elemental Plane of Earth? We don't want him reporting back to the Ironfang Legion, but we don't want to just kill him.

If that's not practical, we could take him to Kraggodan, and ask the dwarves to imprison him."

Later, he informed his comrades about Rhyna's news about the meeting with the Forest Marshall in Longshadow.

Gendowyn inclines her head. "Of course. The hobgoblin shall be my guest and enjoy the full hospitality of the Accresiel Palace--whether he wants to or not. I will ensure he does not escape, but also that no permanent harm befalls him."

Wufram bowed to Gendowyn, "Thank-you, milady!"

He informed his friends about the fey queen's willingness to keep Taurgreth out of trouble. "We'll have to figure out what to do with him eventually, but we won't have to worry about it until after our expedition to the Onyx Citadel."

Next, he turned to plans for the immediate future, "We should probably return to Kraggodan, and report on our success here. We can also do some shopping to prepare ourselves for the Elemental Plane of Earth.

"Before we go to the Onyx Citadel, I think we should return to Longshadow for the meeting with the Forest Marshal. Uniting Nirmathas' forces is of key importance."

He didn't mention the prospect of a reunion with Rhyna, although it was much on his mind.

Karla is truly enchanted to learn so much about the Legion and tells her friends all about it.

As Gendowyn agrees to keep him, she explains to Taurgreth how lucky he is to be a guest of a goddess, and that he will be able to rejoin his Legion in time, but not just now, for he needs to recover from his contact with the Blight, among other things.

She also explains that, as Karla and her friends have rescued him, they will take a portion of his wealth in reward, yet leave him with enough to keep him safe.

Karla will cast Detect magic and take her time to make sure she's not missing anything. Among the items previously mentioned, she takes: +3 deathless mithral shirt, Obedience (+3 defending short sword) and Retribution (+2 axiomatic short sword), amulet of natural armor +4, belt of physical might +4 (Dex, Con), minor cloak of displacement, and ring of freedom of movement. She leaves him: hat of disguise, ring of protection +3. In addition, if the group has some +1 weapons that they gathered from other groups, she will give two small ones, so that Taurgreth is not left without weapons.

Eustoma happily spends her time in the palace. She enjoys the sun and feeling the wind on her face. She offers to spar with Gossamer in a friendly bout. "I'm not much good with fist fighting, but I cast a mean spell. I'm willing to give it a try though."

"I'd like to head back to Longshadow. It would be nice to see a little bit of home before we head into a place with no sun again." She sighs a the thought of going to the elemental plane of earth.

Eustoma spars with Gossamer, the tiny faerie putting up a decent fight despite her diminutive stature. The halfling huntress wins the match, but the atomie insists that she let Eustoma win to make her feel better about herself.

After saying your goodbyes to Gendowyn, Karla teleports the lot of you back to Longshadow, where you enjoy a warm welcome home from your friends and allies in the fight against the Ironfang Legion. Mayor Thom Crawbert is quick to show you the letter that arrived from the Forest Marshal of Nirmathas:

Greetings to you, Defenders of the West, Conquerors of Kosseruk, Champions of the Chernasardo,

My messengers and soldiers have had great difficulty breaking through the Ironfang Legion’s lines to reach you for comment or support, but now that the hobgoblins stir and reposition their forces, it is clear you have struck yet another blow against them.

The people of Nirmathas are proud and brave, but also fractious and fiercely independent. They chafe under command as surely as they would in hobgoblin chains. They need more than an elected officer to unite them against the forward march of the Ironfang Legion: they need legends, and yours are the legends being told around soldiers’ campfires these days. More practically, your forces have been at war with the Ironfang Legion longer than anyone else’s, and you have won more victories against them than anyone else. I would like to meet with you and, if you indeed measure up to your legends, offer you command of the Nirmathi forces until the Legion is turned back or destroyed. I have other allies offering aid as well—the financier Santila Savros and a representative of the Knights of Ozem, Daq Sontine—who will likewise aid the war effort should you convince them.

I will arrange for this summit in a few weeks' time. We will see you at Longshadow soon.

Weslen Gavirk, Forest Marshal of Nirmathas

You have a few weeks of downtime to train, upgrade equipment, or the like. Let me know when you are ready to proceed.

Wulfram steeled himself for the disorienting lurch that accompanied the teleport spell. It would have been nice to fly over the intervening land, and view the scenery, but they really couldn't afford the extra time that would take. There were many preparations to be made before the final part of their task.

When they appeared in Longshadow, he sought out Rhyna, glad to see her again after what had seemed like an age. Holding her in his arms, he declared, "It's so good to be together again! I thought of you all the time, but this is so much better!"

Rhyna wraps her arms around the burly shaman, resting her head against Wulfram's chest. "You're finally back! I've missed you so, so much! I want to hear everything! All about your adventures with dwarves and faeries. And in more than just 25-word bursts!" The blonde woman laughs and stretches up on her tiptoes to kiss her lover.

Wulfram eagerly returned Rhyna's kiss, as the intervening weeks and months melted away.

Later he told her about the journey though the Darklands, and the marvelous Sky Citadel of Kraggodan. "I've never seen anything like it! Part of the city is on the mountain top, open to the sky, but the great halls and passageways extend down into the center of the mountain. A great open cavern lies at its heart, rising hundreds of feat above a lake of molten lava! And the architecture is magnificent, a fusion of beautifully worked stone and exquisite metalwork."

He told her of the Evenhanded Synod, and the elaborate performance that they put on for the assembled VIPs. He related their investigation of the Reliquary of Ascension and their discovery of the fate of the Onyx Key.

After a break for refreshments, he told her of the journey to the blighted heart of Fangwood Forest. He related their meeting with the quickling Wendel, and the slaying of the dragon Naphexi.

"And then we had to enter a passage into a gargantuan tree, and descend to caverns among its roots!" He recounted the story of the discovery of the entrance to the throne room of the great dryad Arlantia. The telling of the final battle took much longer than the actual fight itself.

"After we slew Arlantia, we freed Queen Gendowyn. She's a glaistig — they're fey creatures with the body of a woman, and the legs of a goat. She is a master of earth magic, and ruled central Fangwood, until the dryad Arlantia overthrew and imprisoned her. She has promised to aid us, but first she needs to rebuild her realm."

Rhyna listens with wide-eyed wonder to Wulfram's tales of adventure. "Wow! That all sounds so incredible! I'd love to see both Kraggodan and the Accresiel Palace once we've finally beaten the Ironfang Legion. With all the victories you've won against them, I'm sure it won't be much longer now!"

Karla first sleeps for 16 hours straight when the group returns, with nik'o wrapped protectively around her, exausted by their recent ordeals and the energy coursing through her.

When she emerges, she laughs and dances as the letter is read to her: "Yes, yes, yes! The country is stirring! We must make a strong impression. I'll see to the town!"

And she takes off, spending her days talking to citizens, spreading the tale of the resistance coming from all corners of the country. She aims to instil further pride and defiance in the heart of the Longshadowers. She works to embellish the streets, gives impromptu illusions shows of the great battles they fought, the terrible enemies they dispatched, and the honourable friends they have met.

When she comes home, she sits with Nik'o at her feet and grabs he father's violin, playing mournful Varisian rhapsodies he had taught her. Thinking of her lost family, her eyes swell up and unleash torrents of tears Nik'o is quick to lap away. She smiles at her companion, dreaming of a free Nirmathas...

Eustoma and Sia head into to the woods outside of Lonogshadow. They disappear for days on end just being in the green of the woods, and listening to the birds and animals move about. "Being under ground is hard my friend" She gives Sia some pets and time to run free of her armor.

Wulfram replied to Eustoma, "I'm hoping that retrieving the Onyx Key will prevent the Legion from using the Stone Road. After that, it should just be a matter of time."

While he waited for the meeting with the Forest Marshal, the shaman started preparing for the journey to the Plane of Earth. He began making protective items for his comrades, to ward off the dangers they expected to encounter in that alien place.

Starting by making an Aegis of Recovery for Eustoma, and another one for Sia if desired (I think animal companions can wear amulets).

After several weeks of preparations, the day of the summit finally arrives. The Canary Inn has been co-opted to serve as quarters for the visiting dignitaries, and shortly after noon that day, Forest Marshal Weslen Gavirk and his guests arrive. Gavirk greets you warmly, offering each of you a firm handshake. "I've heard many tales of your exploits over the past year or so. It's good to be able to finally put faces to the names. Allow me to introduce you to the other members of the war council.

"Sir Daq Sontine of the Knights of Ozem." A tall man clad in a gleaming golden breastplate and helmet steps forward. He doffs his helmet, revealing a shaved head and a full brown beard, and salutes you. "Iomedae's blessings upon you," Daq says. "I grew up in Nirmathas and have long worked to persuade my fellow knights to assist their neighbors to the south. If the Ironfang Legion is intent on expanding their conquests, then we must do what we can to stem the tide."

"Santila Savros of the Prophets of Kalistrade." An older woman with curly gray hair steps curtsies brusquely. She is clad in immaculate white and red ropes and wears dazzling jewelry in an ostentatious display of wealth. "Charmed, I'm sure. Please do not mistake my presence here as anything more than what it is--an opportunity for profit. I have no stake in Nirmathas's safety beyond its value as a steady client."

Weslen frowns slightly but proceeds to introduce his final guest. "Obsik Shalehammer of Kraggodan." A smiling dwarf in fine clothes delivers an elegant bow. He has short blonde hair and beard, along with a waxed mustache. "Nice to meet you all! Big fan! I know all about the good deeds you did for my people at the Sky Citadel. Might I trouble you for an autograph?"

Karla smiles warmly as she greets each illustrious ambassador.

She says: "It is you we are thankful to see thus united! Your presence is sign enough that the unlawful invasion of the Ironfang is coming to an end. We have foiled many if their plans, and now we hold the key to curtail their military advantage! But we are but a small force, and the Legion must be entirely defeated. We need your help. But know that in helping us, you are helping yourselves. First, because you will make of us your ever friends. And second, because the Legion will not stop here..."

Nice!

Weslen and Obsik chuckle at Pele's antics. Daq remains stoic, while Santila seems unamused.

"Hey! You weren't going to start this party without me, were you?" comes a high-pitched voice. The air shimmers as Gossamer the faerie appears! "The fey of the Fangwood have got a stake in this fight too, y'know! I'm here as Princess Gendowyn's proxy, so you humans have to treat me with respect, yeah? Now, where's the ale at!"

The other dignitaries seem confused by the atomie's arrival, but quickly recover and welcome her to the council. Several guests begin to exchange small talk.

We will be using the rules from Ultimate Intrigue to see how well you can influence the dignitaries during the summit. Eustoma may retroactively make her check. Let's keep things moving.

Karla stays close to Gossamer, observing the boisterous faerie's interactions with the mortal council members. The atomie is easily bored, but anyone demonstrating deft swordplay or telling boisterous tales hods her attention.

Santila Savros's motivations seems to be just as she stated: profit. It lines up with the stated beliefs of the Prophets of Kalistrade, to acquire as much personal wealth as possible. Wulfram notes that Santila appreciates a good metaphor in speeches or negotiations.

Observing Obsik, Rogar notes that the dwarf appreciates luxury, especially gemstones. He is fond of fine things and those who can provide for him.

All PCs gain a +4 competence bonus on influence checks against Gossamer, Santila, and Obsik, so long as they incoporate that NPC's predilections into their negotiations.

The next day, the council begins in earnest. Most of this time is tedious, with each representative demanding intelligence reports, ledgers, maps, witness testimonies, and promises of returned favors and concessions. Although they share a common enemy in the Ironfang Legion, none wants their resources squandered, and each attendee must be convinced that you are the best leaders for their efforts. While a good deal of quips and couched insults are traded between Sir Sontine and Santila Savros over issues of faith and war profiteering, nothing escalates, and most of the day is spent with each representative presenting the resources they can contribute and on what terms.

Gaining Influence:
This part of the adventure uses a simplified version of the rules for influencing an individual presented in Chapter 3 of Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Intrigue.

Each day during the war council, each PC can select one NPC in attendance to influence by attempting an influence check, as long as that PC has interacted with that NPC during that day. As an influence check, a PC can attempt a Bluff check (to feign agreement) or a Diplomacy check (to win the NPC over). Each NPC also has specific skill checks, mentioned in the Influence Checks entry of the NPC’s social stat block, that can be used to win the NPC over. Each day, in addition to the influence check, each PC can attempt a DC 20 Sense Motive check to identify one of these specialized influence skills.

An NPC can be successfully influenced only once each day, though multiple PCs can work together, using their checks to aid one another to improve their chances of winning an ally to their cause. This adventure assumes that the PCs are trying to gain allies for the Nirmathi war effort, so bullying NPCs through Intimidation is generally inappropriate.

Wulfram spent the first day talking mostly about the alliance's economic and industrial resources. Knowing that she's no good with diplomacy or fanciness. She'll try to help her friends do their best. She smiles brightly as she stands next to Wulfram. "The people of the area will need to trade goods for other goods once this is all over. A smart person can position themselves to make a good profit." She isn't any help, but hopefully the situation doesn't get worse.

Rogar puts his (admittedly limited) diplomatic skill to use trying to secure the aid of the fey, retelling many of his favorite tales of his exploits, naturally including the two dragons he slew as often as possible, animating the tales with his powers.

Diplomacy: 1d20 - 1 + 4 ⇒ (1) - 1 + 4 = 4

Karla turns her attention to Obsik and describes with great detail the treasures they collected from the Legion's members, and hints at the greater treasures that wait for them. As the Legion has had access to the Earth Plane, who knows what riches they found there?

Diplomacy with bonus: 1d20 + 28 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 28 + 4 = 50

Eustoma Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Karla Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 16

Santila seems nonplussed by Wulfram's and Eustoma's overtures towards her. The Prophet of Kalistrade insists on seeing more concrete proof of profit potential before committing her forces to the cause.

Rogar's tales nearly bore Gossamer to tears. The faerie can only stand to listen for a short while before seeking out the largest mug of ale she can find.

Karla finds greater success with Obsik. The dwarf hangs on the sorceress's every word, eyes glittering with avarice when she talks of treasures to be had. It seems like she has the dwarf in the palm of her hand.

2 success towards influencing Obsik.

Neither Wulfram or Rogar are able to glean anything useful about Weslen or Gossamer.

The first day comes to a close, and everybody retires to their chambers to prepare for the second day of negotiations.

***

Day two of the summit begins with a dull recap of the first day’s discussions, but around midmorning a loud voice outside the meeting exclaims, “You can’t go in there!” After this proclamation, the council doors burst open to reveal a small troop of battered Molthuni warriors.

Knowledge (nobility or geography) DC 20:
You recognize their livery as belonging to Molthune’s Mindspin Province, which borders Nirmathas along the Nesmian Plains; troops from there frequently invade the lightly defended south.

"Molthune! What are they doing here?!?" Weslen exclaims. His guards draw their swords and move to take up defensive positions around the Forest Marshal. The Molthuni soldiers glare at them and rest their hands on the hilts of their own weapons...

You can attempt to defuse the situation with a Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Profession (soldier) check!

Knowledge Geography: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

Wulfram was very surprised to see Molthuni soldiers so far from their territory. Drawing himself up to his full height, he recovered his composure and tried to convince everyone else to do the same, "Let's all remain calm and find out why our new guests are here."

He addressed the newcomers in a hospitable tone, "You're a long way from home! What brings you all the way to Longshadow?"

Diplomacy (aiding Karla if she's making a Diplomacy check): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33

Wulfram’s words serve to settle the tensions for the time being. From the battered Molthuni ranks, a tall woman steps forward with an air of confidence, her uniform marking her as a general lord—one of the heads of the Molthuni state. She drops a bloody sack to the ground, and severed hobgoblin ears spill out. “We come under the flag of parley to bring you this gift. Many of my soldiers paid the highest price for it. I am General Lord Katra Sebine, daughter of General Muriel Sebine, granddaughter of General Lord Marley Tavenoos.

“I do not look for bloodshed. I ignored the horror set upon our neighbors, and now my people and my land pay the price for my arrogance, crushed beneath the boots of the Ironfang Legion. My fellow general lords in Canorate argue how, or even if, to intercede. Meanwhile people die—my people and yours—and unless we put aside our war, we shall both be overrun. Rumors claim you know where the Legion hides, and if your arm knows where to strike, I may be willing to place my sword in your hand.”

Weslen Gavirk scowls with fury. ”Absolutely not! Too many Nirmathis lie dead because of your soldiers’ actions. Leave this council at once!”

Santila shakes her head. ”That is not fair, Forest Marshal. If General Sebine is affected by this war, then she has a right to be here as well. I say the whole council votes on the matter.”

Amid Weslen’s protests, Santila emphatically suggests that the forest marshal abstain from this vote due to his bias—a proposal he grudgingly accepts. The remaining council members are split on the matter—Gossamer and Obsik vote against her inclusion, and Daq and Santila vote in favor of it. It falls to you to break the tie.

Wulfram conferred with Eustoma, Karla and Rogar to get their opinion, "What do you think? My feeling is that we should try to get Molthune on board as allies."

Wulfram can sense that Sebine deeply cares about her people and is determined to do the right thing by them. In this case, even if it means seeking aid from sworn enemies.

"Aye. Ah don' much care fer politics, bu' my quarrel is wi' tha hobs. Ah don' care a bit who they betrayed afore us." Rogar agrees, "Besides, shoul' they betray us, ah doubt they coul' do much before we stopped 'em." he adds.

"We need all the help we can get! And if Molthune falls, then the Legion will have more resources to crush us afterwards, and vice versa, and trade will suffer. No, we need them for too many reasons. I say they stay!" Karla offers.

Wulfram turned to address the council, "I know that we have had bad history with Molthune, and much blood has been spilled between us. But we owe it to both our peoples to set aside our differences, and join forces against the evil of the Ironfang Legion. We vote to allow General Sebine to join this conference."

Weslen sighs heavily. "Very well. Despite my objections, the Molthuni will be allowed to stay. Let's get her caught up on what we've discussed so far and continue on with these talks." The Forest Marshal is clearly unhappy.

General Sebine nods gratefully to you.

You may now make your checks to try to influence the council members for this second day of the summit. General Sebine is available for influence and discovery checks as well.

Eustoma heads over to Gossamer on the second day. She gives the fey a bright smile. "Want to arm wrestle again? I'll tell you how Sia drug down a troll, and Wulfram took down a dragon with one hit. Through a wall of fire mind you."

She also gives the new General a study.

Wulfram decided to team up with Eustoma to win over Gossamer. He told her of their infiltration of Fort Ristin, in the middle of the Red Rock Revel (he described the drunken partying korreds in some detail). He told her of the battle with Halk Grundlechar, who used his hair to wield his weapon, and Bristle Billie and his experiments. He even managed to work in a mention of the atomies they met there.
