As the fighting dies down she adds "Lito, Sandara check on our crew who is wounded and patch them up. Estelle and Noonan please see to it that the Truewinds crew finds the way to the bow and stays there."

Narrator

There is about a dozen sailors that fell victim to the Kraken's officers. Besides that surprisingly few lie on the deck. Three more from each crew that didn't manage to hold up in the fight.

The crew of the Truewind drop their weapons and slowly back away from the fight.

As Lito helps to get everyone upright he looks over and orders:

Conchobhar, Ratline, Maheem, gather the weapons and bring them to Trytton for inventory. We don't want any of our new "guests" hurting themselves before we fire out who's worth a ransom.

Once our crew is back on their feet and the weapons are being gathered, Lito talks quietly with Besmara.
Do ye want us to go check out what we got here before one of us addresses the crew? It would be good to know what we got here before we decide what to do with the ship and crew.

Female Human Pirate (7) AC19/14/15, FRW+7/+9/+4, Ini+6, Perc+12, Sail+13

Besmara points out ten of the sailors from the Truewind and Ten from the Kraken and orders them to empty the hold and carry everything over to the Kraken.

"Captain, would you and your mate please hand over your valuables?" Besmara asks politely.

Turning to Lito she replies with a grin "Want ta be Captain of yer own ship? Please check everything that we don't miss anything magical."

I don't know. Think ye can handle the crew without me?

Then he gives her a wink and a smile before he heads off to oversee the offloading, being sure to check everything with detect magic and pulling aside anything that is magic or particularly valuable off to the side for closer examination with the other officers.

Trytton climbs up over the side of the boat and looks at the loss of life. It saddens him, however it could have been significantly worse. Seeing the offloading in progress he goes over to Besmara, "I would like to leave them enough food and water to reach the closest safe port. There is no need for them to starve. They can spread the tale of your ship, and we may even get to rob them again, if you let them live."

Female Human Pirate (7) AC19/14/15, FRW+7/+9/+4, Ini+6, Perc+12, Sail+13

"I'm after loot. Water isn't that valuable in this region. If the captain here has something special to eat or drink it's moving to my food store. But I'm not interested in the sludge they serve the crew. You're responsible for feeding us. If you don't want it, leave it to them." Besmara replies.

So far no one died. Not a single one got pushed into negatives past their Con and Sandara channeled over all - friend and foe.

Narrator

The captain is not really willing but as there is no good choice she gives Besmara grudgingly a tour of the ship.

Female Human Pirate (7) AC19/14/15, FRW+7/+9/+4, Ini+6, Perc+12, Sail+13

"Nothing special I guess. A ship. How about you come over to my Captain's dinner. I twill take a while until you have your ship back to operational, what do you say." Besmara suggests.

Once back from the tour she tells Lito "I invited the Captain to dinner. Are we done so far? I'll be at my cabin if someone needs me." she then takes the captain with her onto the Kraken.

"Trytton, would you start preparing a feast with Fishguts? We have a reason to celebrate."

In a pause in the unloading Lito calls over Fishguts and Trytton.

He quietly says to them:
Can you please go check the food stores here? I believe the Captain plans to negotiate giving the ship back, so leave them their water and food enough to get them back to a reasonable port.

Grab any of their good food or rum for the Kraken, and If you could make both some standard fish stew as well as the food for feast tonight, that would be most helpful. I plan on locking this crew up tonight in the hold, I'll feed them the fish stew, while our crew feasts and the captains negotiate.

Then he projects and addresses the captive crew:
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19

OK you land lubbers, you have a choice. We can do this the easy or the hard way.
You saw how fast we just disabled your ship and how ineffectual your attacks were on Captain Besmara's crew. We could have just as easily killed you, but you can thank the Captain for your lives.

If you want to continue living, and possibly get out of here free men without more then minor inconvenience, then do exactly as we ask.
If you even think about resisting, We will not hesitate to kill the troublemakers, sink this ship and hold the rest of you for ransom or to sell you as slaves.

As a sign of your cooperation, please strip off your armor and valuables, placing them on the deck. Once that's done, we are putting you into the hold while the captains discuss terms. Your actions will have a direct impact on those discussions, so think hard before you try something stupid.

Then he watches closely to see what happens.

Ugg crappy roll. Good thing Lito is so damn charming

Narrator

Still facing Noonan and mostly being without weapons but daggers no one is fond of repeating this fight. So they get up drop their stuff and move to the hold one after another.

Greatings Captain Runescar and Mr. Figs. I am First mate, Lito.
I'm sure you are wondering what the hell is going on. The captain invited you here today to discuss what we do with you and your crew. We may be privateers but that does not mean we are all uncivilized Beasts who can not recognize some impressive sailing when we see it. And what we saw from you was some mighty impressive sailing.

Now just to start things off, I give you my word of honor from one sailor to another that as long as you do not try anything violent during this dinner, for the length of this dinner you will not be harmed.

"And I'm also not planning on harming you afterwards." Besmara adds chuckling. "We're mostly nice. The only drawback in our business is that people like you are not willing to hand over their valuables without fighting. And as we haven't found a way of stealing it from you without you noticing before it's too late we have to go through this bloody part of piracy too."

"So if you're able too I suggest you delay your mourning about your loss and celebrate with us today. Because it won't change anything if you don't."

Besmara raises her mug. "To Besmara the goddess or piracy who looked gracious on us today."
