I remember back in 1970 thru 1972 when I was in uniform, and soldiers were spit on or yelled at, and I promised myself that I would never stand for that.

Between Mothers Day weekend activities with wife, daughter and grand daughter. Also Camping Opening on Monday, I will be pretty much off line all day Saturday 13 May thru Monday 15 May. Back to semi abnormal on Tuesday. Bot me if you have to.
Mothers Day weekend is over, and I spent most of it with the ladies in my life (wife, daughter, grand daughter) including several bottles of wine at Robibero Winery. The camper is now officially open for the season, just a little outside cleanup, so back to PbP......
Nice break for me since I'm traveling through the 25th and only have my phone and my wife's iPad. But the iPad is her's and she uses it all the time so I am stuck with my phone. :).

I want to explain my comment in the game post that I made ooc. In a game where I was playing a wizard I always remembered to cast Detect Magic in each room. The player playing a ranger started referring to me as "the greedy wizard" in his posts. This got under my skin in no time. His character never called mine greedy so IC there was no way to respond. It was fine for his character to think my character was greedy and it was fine if OOC he stated he thought I was playing a greedy character. But it was not ok to state opinion as fact. This game actually ended partly because of this. I don't in general have thin skin but this gets to me, so be warned. :)
From a players perspective, no problem here.

I believe we are going with Max HP each level so he gains 8+2(Con bonus)+1(FC bonus), or 11 hp
His BAB increases to 1 and his fort and will saves increase by 1.
He gains Woodland Stride and Lion Totem transformation ability. H also gains another zero and first level spell slot.
He gains 5 adventuring skill points and 2 background skill points

As the GM is a player in some of my games, I will comment that they have posted in my games that they are very busy with work right now.
He is also a player in one of my games, and I had to bot him. There was no warning about work. Thanks for the info.
Well I have a 'no warning and I punt you' policy, so I get warnings. Well that is all my current players give warnings, there's always the punted.
Actually I was wrong, Cosario is AWOL, I didn't get a message from that player. It was a different one.
He's missing in both the games of mine he is in.
I know he hasn't posted in Damiel's game. This does not look promising. :(

Ah well. At the very least it was a nice mini-adventure, and we did get to finish the a small storyline. So if it does end here, it was fun.
But I just got my cat! :) I hope he does come back. If not should we look for someone to take over?
I think waiting will work. He's did disappear in another of my games, and came back eventually.

This coming weekend is the Independence Day holiday in the USA. As normal, the campground WiFi will totally stink, starting sometime Thursday (early arrivals), and since the 4th of July is actually on Tuesday, probably thru Wednesday morning (late departures), so if I seem to disappear, it is because of no WiFi access. Heck, it is only Wednesday and WiFi is starting to slow down already........
As we are lvl2 and thus lvl3 is on the horizon...is variant multiclassing allowed?
I'd like to pick Witch as my VMC.
At lvl3 I get a familiar. I'd like for Godwyn to have a Thrush. His own pet bird. He also gets a patron, which as a paladin would be 'devotion.'
At lvl7 he gets a hex as a lvl1 witch. This would be flight. At-Will featherfall.
At lvl11 he gets the cantrip prestigitation. Which is nice for keeping himself clean.
At lvl15 his flight hex gets better and he would take fortune as a second hex.
At lvl19 he gets 'major healing.'

I wouldn't want to be 56 again, as I would have almost 7 years to go before I retire at 62.5. I am enjoying my retirement way to much to consider working full time again!
We are picking up our 5 year old grand daughter Saturday, 07/29, and will have her till Monday, 08/07. Sunday 07/30 & Tuesday 08/01 & Wednesday 08/02 & Saturday 08/05 & possibly other days will be jammed packed with doing things with her, while the kids are on an adult vacation to the west coast. While I will try to keep up, but don't be surprised if I miss a couple of days during this time frame.
