Male Aquatic Elf Bard (Daredevil ) 1

The druid cackles madly as the old crone speaks.

Rull is offended by this place!


The crone nods and leads the way, heading the chief's words. Another wooden flower unfurls before the might of the Tribe of the Bleeding Storm as the Fist stomps north, bent on destroying this cursed land. A short staircase of carved wood lands on a wooden platform suspended over an empty pit. Several lily pads float in the air, suspended by the fell smokes of this world. They are each of a different height, each slightly higher than the next. At the far end of the room, another set of stairs continues to the north. There is a constant low hum, filling the room, and it reeks of rot and decay.

The druid then follows along, his storm-blue eyes darting everywhere.

The lily pads are close enough together that even the weakest of orcs could leap from one to the other, crossing the empty void beneath. Arkhan speaks, and smoke and lightning billow from his mouth, striking at his legs, pulling and stretching the bones, thickening and tightening his sinew and muscles.

DC 10 Acrobatics check to jump from one to the other. DC 15 Reflex save to catch the pad if you fail the jump. Otherwise, 100' fall.

He turns back to the group. "Seems easy enough, but how do we get Thoku across? I wouldn't want to do that blind."

Seeing as he may fall to his death didn't realize that before... Kern decides to take on the aspect of the frog. His mouth distends slightly, his eyes move up his face a bit, and his legs grow more powerful. Kern and Grell continue to jump across.

Arkhan suddenly begins to howl madly, as his body contorts into an eagle.

He flies around the Fist, searching for enemies.

oops there are 5. For every round the lillypad sinks, the D.C. to jump to the next one goes up by 5 (so the D.C. Now is 15. It'll be ten when u land on the next one as soon as Arohan takes flight, the lillypad begins to rise back to its initial positionDC IS BACK TO 10, and you don't have to worry about sinkage now.. so long as only Kern, Judah, and Choot are on the pads

Relieved of one more warrior, the lillypad begins to rise. at the top, the Fist leap to the next pad. Their strength and bravery are without peer. All know of the might of the Tribe of the Bleeding Storm! They land, Arkhan flying above as a mighty bird, and fierce Thoku clings to the walls with his mighty smokes. As they prepare themselves to leap to the next pad, a buzzing fills the chamber and two giant dragonflies leap burst from the depths of the room.

Their maws are open, dripping and hungry and ready for blood!

Arkhan (hawkform), Ozak and Choot are up first. Then baddy, followed by Thoku, Jugag, and Kern.

He steps to the south, and swings Skullbiter at the giant insect.

5' step south then full attack. I assume that because Thoku is flat-footed he does not threaten the bug, so I am not flanking. But the bugs are flat-footed as they have not attacked yet, so I will get sneak attack damage this round.

Ozak looks at the insects to see if they are something he has heard of. But, these beasts are strange to the hunter's eyes. Still, he is a mighty warrior of the tribe! He swings his great bone-beak in a mighty arch, bringing it crashing down on the flying creature. He releases a great spray of the beast's life water into the air, but, still, the creature flies!

On the other side of the lily pad, the Mouth of Zagresh speaks once more with the tongue of the Fire God. Sezelrian's smoke spills from his mouth and gathers about his hand. It hurtles through the air and slams into the creature, knocking loose a piece of its shell. Arkhan swoops down and rakes his talons across its shell, but its glittering blue battle-skin is proof against his might!

The insects fly into the air, spinning and dancing on the wing. As they fly, golden dust sprinkles from the wings of one of the beasts. The dust flies into the eyes of the Fist. The Fist blinks their eyes and all save Kern and Ozak fight off the spell. But, the two warriors are blinded!

The other beast spins, and the vines and plants of the room reach out, wrappign about the legs and arms of the warriors. Yet, only Thoku, his eyes clouded by the foul smokes of the light-spirits, is blind to the danger about him, and the vines retain their hold about his limbs, binding him in their thrashing coils.

Sorry for my absence, with the boards not showing unread I just didn't have time to fish for my PbP threads.

Kern casts lockjaw on Razorbeak. "Razorbeak, attack!" he yells.

Razorbeak flies (literally) into action, zooming toward the farther bug.

Try as he might, Thoku cannot knows nothing of these spirit creatures save that they are the flesh of the spirit world. But, a true chief does not act on knowledge alone! He must act from instinct, trusting his strength to guide him! With a great roar, mighty Thoku heaves against the vines coiled about his arms and legs. The distraction Thoku provides is a perfect opening for Jugag Rain-Maker. Once more he pulls back the gut-string of his massive giant-bone bow. The aged bone creaks with the strength of his draw, and twice he looses war-rain as thick as saplings! "Lives for Mighty Thoku! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" One sapling shatters uselessly against the far wall, but the other finds a home in the beast's tail. It tears through the creature's flesh, shattering shell and ripping threw sinew. Still, it holds itself aloft, but it screams of rage and warlust as its blood rains down on the tribe below it.

Kern scoops the battle-sweat coating his flesh and rubs it deep into Razobeak's feathers. The bird screeches a mighty Rull-noise as its beak and talons thicken and hook into fierce traps. With a powerful flap of its wings it takes to the air, talons and beak bared for battle! "Razorbeak, attack!" The bird screeches again and dives at the spirit-beast. Once, twice, thrice its talons and beak strike against the creature's shell, but though the attacks are true, they cannot dent its blue armor!

As Razorbeak attempts to grab the bug in its mouth, Kern commands his beast "Now, while your brother holds it, destroy that creature, Grell!" and Grell nimbly jumps from lilly-pad to lilly-pad, landing next to Razorbeak and biting at the bug. But, the winged beast slips free of Razorbeak's grasp, and fierce Grell tastes only air!

Round 2
The mighty eagle screeches in anger, as Arkhan realizes his attacks can't hurt these creatures. The Druid flies to the other side, landing on the far platform. Arkhan then reverts into his orc-self. He peers at it with the wise eyes of the Storm-Callers. The Thunderer has spoken of these beasts in his sky quakes! Yes! Storm-Brother remembers! These are spirit-creatures, true...They are like the dragonflies of the world, but they are spirit-flesh, and not the meat of mortals. Only iron untouched by fire can harm them! They are creatures of the wind and sky, and cold and sky-lances cannot harm them. they are stupid creatures, but they can speak the spirit-tongue.they have damage resistance overcome by cold iron and cold and electricity resistance. They can speak Sylvan

Grell feebly bites and claws at the creature anyway, to distract it.

Once more, Sezelrian's smoke spills from the shaman's lips. It takes the form of a small axe that hurtles through the air, smashing apart more of the dragonfly's armor!

then moves back up to 30' above their heads in another corner of the room (flyby attack)

The two dragonflies, filled with bloodlust and rage, attack Kern and Ozak. But, their fangs are nothing against the warskin of the Tribe of the Bleeding Storm! Disgusted with their weakness, teh two creatures fly to the other side of the room.

Kern pulls himself free of the coiling vines about his limbs, ripping them apart with his blind strength.

Grell heeds her master's command and moves to where she can strike the creature, but finds its out of reach. Its cowardice keeps it in the air, safe from her claws and fangs. gonna hold Grell's action. it can go off when the dragonfly swoops to attack

Thoku, the proud chief of the Tribe of the Bleeding Storm, charges across the room along the wall. Blinded by the smokes of the light spirits though he is, he bravely takes the lead and rushes to the other room. As he runs, Jugag sends twin arrows into the air, but his war-rain only sprouts air.
