A plague has struck the city of Cairdus, and it's up to one elf (and his secret identity, and his talking bow) to do something about it!

Social Persona RETIRED - off to kill one of the Eldest.

Vox keeps moving, keeping to the outside of the chamber as much as possible. When the combat between Iglestor and the demon finally comes into view Vox takes careful aim before realising that shooting into the melee is too risky. Drawing Muthan she charges the demon!

Attack (charge, bless, flanking: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 20 Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 3 + 1 = 11


Roll Perception (2 - one for the creature, 1 for Igelstor), Acrobatics, and concealment checks. The room's still in total darkness, so I don't think you can charge, and whether you can flank will depend if you can determine Igelstor's location.

Sorry - I'm having trouble working out how dark everything is and the size of the room. Scrap last actions - Vox will apporach until her low light vision CAN make out the positions in the melee, then try and set up flanks next turn.


It's magical darkness so pitch black, although perception could still get you there. I'll try to put in more description about the room in my next post.


The room is square and measures around 35 x 35 ft. There's a summoning circle in the middle that contains the demon, measuring 10 ft across. Igelstor is somewhere on the other side of it.

The room is in total magical darkness right now, the candles extinguished. Vox will have to listen closely to the creature's dark curses and Igelstor's steady breathing to sense their positions, and even then there's still a chance of missing. She'll have to be careful to avoid disrupting the summoning circle holding the demon in place.

Roll Options:
If Vox approaches, she will need an Acrobatics check.

To make an attack:
- Roll Perception to detect the creature
- If trying to flank with Igelstor, roll a Perception to detect his position as well
- After rolling your standard attack/damage, roll Concealment (1d100) to determine if the attack hits.

Vox is pretty certain she's been able to pinpoint the creature's location, and Igelstor's besides, but hears the telltale clink of her arrow hitting the floor as it misses its mark.

Vox hears the creature move closer towards her, away from Igelstor, as it starts chanting. A weapon is unsheathed and then falls to the floor as Igelstor cries out in frustration.

Igelstor - Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 3 + 1 = 13

Taking aim, as best she can at the source of the chanting, Vox shoots again.

Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17 Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 4d4 ⇒ (3) + 3 + (1, 3, 3, 3) = 16
Attack 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 4d4 ⇒ (1) + 3 + (4, 1, 1, 3) = 13
Conceal (low = miss): 2d100 ⇒ (72, 87) = 159

Iolaire is focusing on its new senses, trying to track the demon by the evil emanating from it.
