A bit of rules.
Stamina
Each character has a Stamina equal to their Strength + their Constitution score. Each time a character attacks, moves or casts a spell he or she spends an amount of Stamina to do so. Each time a character is attacked he or she loses an amount of Stamina. If a character's Stamina is below 50% the character suffers a disadvantage to attack rolls and a reduction to his or her DS (Defense Score). If a character's Stamina reaches 0 he or she cannot take any action until he or she has regained Stamina.
Different forms of attack will cost more or less Stamina. A heavy attack and a fast attack will cost more Stamina than a regular attack.
Grazing Hits
If the result of an attack is equal to the target's DS (Defense Score), the hit is only a grazing hit and deals half damage.
Wounds
Whenever a character is dealt 10 or more damage he or she suffers a wound. The wound lowers the total amount of hit points that your character has got by 2 and lowers the character's DS by 1. Each round a wound goes untreated the character loses 1 hit point. A critical wound (which is automatically receieved when the character takes a critical hit) lowers the total amount of hit points that your character has got by 4, his DS by 2 and gives your character a Disadvantage on all rolls. Each round a critical wound goes untreated the character loses 2 hit points.

Cool, your gameplay intro is also up.
Everyone - It's 3 AM and I have to get up at 6 AM, so no matter how much I'd like to post gameplay intros to everyone and finish Talya's sheet, it's going to have to wait until tomorrow when I get home from school.
I hope you're all happy with your characters and as excited as I am to get this thing going.

You sleep way to little. :p
Welcome inxpitter.
How does the wraith recover health, as normal healing is damaging?
What is Vitality?
Headsplitter, lovely name to go with the whole haunting wraith theme. Besides draining your life, you going to loose your head too. The animals already afraid.
Could you give us a glossary of abbreviations and words. Take the unarmed attack below as example:
Unarmed (Wraithclaw) +3 (1d6+3 +1d4 negative energy, x2) (Reg. Atk: Stan, 3 STA, Rap. Atk: Full, Twice, -2 Atk, 5 STA; Hvy. Atk: Full,+2 Dmg, 5 STA)
What does the abbreviations Reg. Atk, Rap. Atk, Hvy. Atk mean? Of course others that appearing elsewhere.
Rather interesting to see Diplomacy skill listed, considering he is now quite horrific looking in appearance, well outright scaring to children. What is your intentions, as his Cha score is above average too.
Gear, I would assume, he managed to get hold of a cloak to be able to shroud his head.
Weapons skills need to be explained.
Definitely see you taken Pathfinder and altered it with features from other gaming systems. Some definitely makes more sense to me.
Seeing some ranger class features. I take this as building a ranger(warrior) wraith class, with features taken from typical ranger and features of undead as mutation progresses.
I take that due to the modified Pathfinder, you be presenting options (and set features) for characters as levelling takes place.

@Preysh
Lifedrain:With a full round attack using his Wraithclaw, Preysh may drain 1d6 Vitality from his opponent if the attack is successful and the target fails a DC 13 Fortitude save.
Preysh Kavaan |
His longcoat is hooded, but he doesn't have anything to shroud his face yet. He has only just been brought back to life as a wraith.
Oh my. Starting the adventure waking up and seeing hands looking strange, more bony with some plasma like energy flowing around the bony fingers. Not even seeing what his face looks like. Time to scare the locals.
Preysh Kavaan |
I decided to post as first person for this adventure, for a change from normal 3rd person posting.
I going with this, that Preysh has not idea of his wraithish abilities, accidental discovery, unless someone tells him of them. I like to take Preysh of a journey of discovery of his new form while seeking to take revenge on the masked man.

I'm not sure if you read this part:
The large skyship which looked somewhat like a giant gleaming silver stingray with a large metalic hump on its underside began its descend through the fluffy white clouds and soon the city of Phendras and the purple Obaaz River appeared far below them.
Kara was standing by the window bay taking in the sight. Her encounter with the man she had once saved, had replaced the frustration from the meetings she had just attended in Calys with a feeling of joy and accomplishment.
Another ship was further below them. It was a smaller vessel, dark blue, with a silvery figurehead and silver wings, and a green glass dome on its top. It was smoking and descending in an odd manner.
Twenty minutes later, the metalic stingray had docked on the top of the collossal building which was the Phendras skyship docks. A long metalic stairway extended from the platform below up to the ship. As Kara walked down the stairs, she saw the smoking ship docked on one of the other platforms. Large bronze canons was shooting water at the burning skyship, and a man with a blue beard was walking down the stairs from it.
Halfway between the docking platform and the arrival terminal, a large dome of copper and green glass, Kara ended up walking next to the man with the blue beard.
It is afternoon. You have just returned from the city of Calys, the capital of Cerilia, to the city of Phendras, where you work as the Cerilian ambassador. You are at the Skyship docks on your way to the arrival terminal.

Quick question, when RPing, should i just write stuff and you'll run with it, or should I ask you questions?
For example, I could establish my assistants character with side remarks. I could confide in him as a friend, or treat him as a snobbish brown noser, each would drastically change how you would have to play him.
Juna Kalaris |
Much as I'd love to jump into this I have a few questions.
How old is Vara, Juna's noble charge? I assume she is at least into her late teenage years/early twenties as she is in charge of a branch of her fathers trade empire.
what kind of political environment does the nobility of Cirithian work in? I'm assuming its fairly cut throat if people get assigned warrior monk guardians. Or is this more of a practice that lets a noble have at least one person in their employ that they can drop their barriers with and treat as a confidant without worry of retaliation?
So I guess, whats the common relations between the assigned noble and their protector?
I figure its up to me to determine how Vara and Juna's relationship is but knowing the common rules of that particular tradition would be helpful in deciding how it all works out.
Do you have much more on the order of Khal Siid beyond them being battle priest/monks of the war goddess?
Is there a real or fantasy world equivalent that I could draw inspiration from and crib adages?
Chingo Chaplo |
@Juna
Vara is 26 and grew up spoiled and pampered, quite the opposite of your harsh youth with the Khal Siid who train rigourously and with strict discipline from childhood, but she does have what it takes to be a successful business person: she is manipulative, cynical and is educated in economics and other fields of knowledge. She might sound like a bad person, but she has redeeming qualities as well, though they show rarely.
You serve both as her protector and confidant, and the reason why is that it is believed that the Cirithian nobility are of celestial blood and have minds and souls more fit for leadership and that they are the pillars of the Cirithian society.
It is up to you how you want Juna to feel about Vara, but I guess she believes strongly in the tradition taught to her by the Khal Siid.
The Khal Siid are part amazons, part asian style warrior monks, and maybe even part jedis lol, but probably mostly amazon/warrior monk. They believe in order and law, and the nessecity of classes in society.
This is just my initial take. How do you feel about it? We could do something else.
Preysh Kavaan |
Oh by the way, does Preysh have any drets in his possession?
What other undead traits does he have? I see you kept Constitution instead of using Charisma as replacement for Constitution when using skills, and abilities that is based on Constitution.
Juna Kalaris |
Hah. Now I recall what your profile photo for Preysh reminds me of.
Though he is not nearly that mean looking in the actual game.
Also spoilers I guess? Out of context but Undertale is a game best appreciated blind
spoopy skeletal.
Now that I'm awake again time to actually make a post. Whee.
