Sorry Argazhon, I can't reach you in time to do anything regardless of my current condition (and I think Smiley is probably unaware of your situation anyway). However, I believe Smiley mentioned he's got several potions of CLW on him previously so if Seren/Hoji wants to take one that would be quite excellent. Why, is that one of them sticking precariously out of my back pocket? I think it is! Smiley will give up his grapple if that would help.

Remember that there are other ways to stabilize someone than just healing. The Heal skill can do it as a standard action with a DC 15 check, but you have to be right next to them.

I'm going to give it a college try. Hopefully the dice will be with us! I would have tried grabbing the wand, but CLW isn't on my class spell list and I'm not trained in UMD.
Seeing Argazhon fall, Tchucko breaks away from his attempts to skewer Celeena and rushes to the fallen summoner's side.
"You foul witch! You know you can not defeat us all. Why didn't you just surrender when you had a chance!"
Tchucko tries his best to apply first aid to his fallen ally.
Heal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Sadly, he's never dealt with burns like this before, and his knowledge of human (or aasimar) anatomy is a bit light.

The moment the Lemure vanishes Hoji shouts, "Hah, it feared my great strength and died from my power!" Seren's body seems ready to strike a victory pose before she regains enough of her person composure to dash over to Argazhon and attempt her Pathfinder certified CPR course.
Heal check to stabilize: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
GM Reroll +2: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Unfortunately she apparently slept through the majority of the 2 year refresher course and it doesn't seem to do much good.
Move to Argazhon's square, standard to attempt a heal check and fail twice, still dancing as a free action.

I too have a t-shirt and a 2-star GM. I believe that gives Argazhon 2 last shots at this. Very sorry, I fell totally helpless.
There's actually no general rule on borrowing rerolls, but I generally allow it. However, read the paragraph below...
Seren already used a reroll, but I'd be OK with Tchucko borrowing it. The rule I've generally seen is "they get the reroll, but not the stars" as to not invalidate the GM boon for Master of Swords that does exactly that (gives reroll and use your stars for the reroll on another player).
Alternatively, Argazhon could use the reroll, but he's MUCH less likely to make the check as he has to roll a natural 20 to survive.
Tchucko, if you wanna reroll that check go ahead. :)
If that fails, I'm gonna say that the dice really don't want you to live lol.

It's funny. I seriously considered moving *between* Argazhon and Celeena on the theory that that would keep her from physically attacking all the people trying to do CPR. I guess I'm pretty lucky that I didn't! :-)
Smiley remembers how his brother Fellgar used to sharpen a single thick fingernail and use it to make Smiley bleed, right before dessert was served. He glances down at his hand and remembers that he does this now too.

Nice hit! Forgot to remove the Seance, as you wouldn't add it, but it doesn't really matter at this point.
Celeena looks at her wounds, and sees she is bleeding out from the blow. She quickly evaluates her chances at this point, knowing her magic has been lucky so far, looks at Smiley and begs, "I give up! I don't want to kill anyone, and I don't want to die!" She drops to her knees and drops the papers on the ground.

Celeena turns to Jadger with tears in her eyes and begins to ramble. My father Orias did a noble thing by not turning in these plans of Absalom to Cheliax, but our family received constant death threats from the Chelish government as a result.
When he finally decided to relent to the death threats and turn in the documents, it was too late for him. He was arrested and let go by the authorities of Absalom, but we were forced to abandon our home and belongings and live outside of Absalom. With no money, we turned to Cheliax, who had been kind to us in the past. It wasn't the same, though. My family has been humiliated, beaten, oppressed, and bullied my entire life in Cheliax. They gave my father a minor noble role but it was never like when we lived in Absalom.
He didn't tell me these documents even existed when I was little, but when I found out, I had to try to reclaim our family name. I know it's probably not right, but Absalom kicked us out of our home. It wasn't fair!

Argazhon recovers after some time and treatment, then he thanks to Smiley: "thank you, my friend. You saved my life, you saved our lives. I'm very grateful to you and I put my bow at your will", he bows.
To Celeena he was more objective "keep your words to the authorities, now it is too late".
With a calmer scenario, Argazhon calls back Hellany, and they embrace, relieved to have the certainty that both are still alive.

@Smiley Ah, that boon. Never seen someone use it before, but this is a good use.
You feel what happens to Celeena is of little consequence to the Society. However, you definitely feel you should confiscate these documents no matter what you decide to do with her. These should not fall into anyone's hands except for the Society, as it is your main mission.
