She runs out into the dark, slowing down a bit when the light lessens, towards area 13 where the sound comes from. She kneels down by Neri, turns him over on his back, and starts to check him, ready to perform first aid.

I've updated the map, there's now two groups, one in area 4, that's well lit, and one that's in area 13, which is dimly lit.

Area 13:

Lina and Jacob find a young man wearing a jacket, he's on the floor twitching and unresponsive. He has a star shaped red welt on his right hand. He is laying under a relief. There is a star shaped hole in the relief. The young man has bloody streaks on his face, as if he had cried tears of blood.

Area 4:

More just a clarification, the rods that Harry found basically act as a barrier across the cave. About half of them withdrew into the wall immediately after the scream. Behind them are more rods, these going vertical. There may be an exit behind the bars, or there may just be another chamber. Until the bars are moved, there's no way to tell.

Paul blinked awake, forcing himself not to groan from the pain. It was pretty dark, he held his eyes open and counted to thirty, allowing his eyes to adjust to the dark. He heard voices in several different languages, some of which he spoke.

Standing he checked himself for injuries, patting down his black turtleneck, black cargo pants, commando gloves, and black climbing shoes. There was one entrance to the cavern he was in, he moved to it and down the tunnel to an opening.

Moved to area 7 to scope out the area and people in area 4.

Paul:

You've got a set of MW lockpicks. You have a glass cutter, chalk, chalk dust, needle nose pliers, and some bits of electronic kit that are burned out. Most of the heavier stuff would have been in the bag.. which is sitting next to the air vent you were going to use to get in once the system was down. The last thing you needed was a backpack catching the wind to throw off your balance.

Paul can see, and hear, the group in area 4 from area 7. If he stays int he shadows, he is fairly certain he can't be seen. They appear to be trying to figure out how they got here, and where here is, and how to get out of here. Things which are almost certainly going through Pauls mind.

On a side note, I'm fairly ok with you having anything on you that's reasonable for the situation described in your intro. Car keys, penlight, phone, etc. Electronics (including digital watches) are broken and burned out (cell phones too). If you would have had an older mechanical wind clock (likely for either someone rich, or someone who needed more precision on timing like a thief, or someone who spent a lot of time in the wilderness without rechargers or battery stores) then that works. I'm ok with flip open pocket knives (unless you were, say, on a plane). Lina, being in her crowd patrol gear, probably has two reloads for her weapon, cuffs, and a bowie knife.

Time seems to pass at a crawl. Lumpy looks at the others. No one else seems to be coming. I think we should go look at these retracting rods. Lumpy gets up to leave. and balks at Kong's offer of a gun.

Kong you hold on to it. You're a sweet man, but you can't trust anyone here. Based on your offer. I do trust you. So keep it. That would be safest.

Moving to area 2. He examines the relief. It was like something out of Game of Thrones. He takes special note of the mechanical servant. It struck a chord with the banker. He momentarily contemplates the effect on an economy with such a tool. He could use the robotic increases in productivity for the automotive industry as a trend.

The banker continues along those lines as he reaches area 1. He studies the mechanism in detail, trying to glean what he can.

The gun Kong holds out looks to be old, very old. It's caked in dust, as if it had been sitting around for a long time. The breach is open, and it's unloaded, as if someone had fired it until empty. There's a patina of rust begining to form on it. It could likely be repaired by someone with a kit, some oil, and some time.

Sterling checks the bars. Each are 5 inches square, and run from wall to wall. It's obvious where some of them retracted. The ends of the retracted ones have a red star on them. The unretracted ones have no symbols on them at all, and are smooth as glass. They appear to be stone, but they have an oddly solid feel, as if they were dense metal instead of stone. All in all, they are not like any material Sterling has ever seen before.

Behind them are more bars, these going up and down, rather than side to side. They appear identical to the horizontal bars.

Luna would likely have a phone (broken), wrist watch, keys, ID, purse (with gum and other odds and ends that end up in women's purses, assuming she had one with a strap over her shoulder or a fanny pack, if she carried it in one hand, her purse would be gone), belt. If she felt afraid in the city, she might have a bottle of pepper spray in her pocket.

A woman in damp but obvious police attire comes into the light in area 4, carrying an unconscious man in a jacket and jeans. Behind her comes another man with slightly damp clothes.

As she sets the man on the cavern floor, he begins to stir and come around. He looks very pale, and there's bloody streaks on his face, as if he'd been crying blood.

The group is now all together in four, with I'm sure Sterling returning at the new voice calling out. Neri you can wake up now.

Remember, your character has no knowledge of what I sent in PM, he just remembers what the gem did, and the pain.

Neri could feel something besides pain for a moment. Movement. He groaned slightly, still feeling flush with heat with each step the officer took. That had been one heck of a dream.

He opened his eyes, but rather than being rolled along in the truck, where he suspected he had fallen asleep, he saw stone floor, everything with a slightly red sheen. He sighed, looking to his side at whoever was carrying him over her shoulder, but presumably could only see her vest and pants.

Sterling returns to the relief with the woman and the rainbow gem. He touches the gem, and it seems to loosen for a second, but then there's a fat spark and his arm jerks away from the relief, the fingers filled with pins and needles. The gem remains firmly inset in the relief.
