Starfinder Binding

Customer Service

I bought a copy of SF (not sure when). When the blog about the binding was made, we did a cursory check, it seemed fine. Then it sat on the shelf for some time. Recently, we started playing with character creation, and noticed what appears to be the binding issue.

Its been months, and is well past Oct. 27, so I'm not sure if I could do a store exchange. What would you recommend?

(I have a pic of the binding, and can email it if need be).

Hello GreenDragon1133,

You are probably past the return or exchange window for the store you bought it from, but you will still want to start by seeing if they will exchange it for you. If they can't send us an email with the pictures at customer.service@paizo.com and we should be able to get a replacement set up for you.

Thanks.

Update: Store made an exchange, but distributor is uncertain whether it is from the same print run or not. Checking it at the store, the binding seems OK. But the original did as well.

I was advised that if it does prove defective, that all the distributor's copies would be defective, and to contact you. Fingers crossed that all is well.

Thanks for your help thus far.

Good luck!

For some more info: one copy being defective does not mean they are ALL defective. While this is a widespread issue for the first printing, it does not affect all of the copies in that printing.

Just curious what the average turnaround time is on a response once a message has been sent to customer service. I sent a message last Friday (2/2), and have not heard anything yet.

I fully realize that they probably get a lot of tickets and I'm not wanting to be a nag. Just wanting to know what the typical timeframe is.
