Tiefling Eldritch Scion

Rules Questions

I am working with a new character, but there are some things I can't find answers.

- Does Fiendish Sorcery works with 'magus' bloodlines?

- If bloodline power gives an ability which character has already, does he get the next 'level' of the power (claws, resistances)?

Examples of similar ruling:
Evasion + Evasion = Improved Evasion
Hard Head, Big Teeth (goblin racial trait; d4 dmg) + Savage Bite (racial barbarian ability; d4 dmg) = d6 dmg

- What Abyssal Bloodrage does, when Eldritch Scion does not have bloodrage? Can it be replaced with Strength of the Abyss?

- Can Bloodrager/Scion use Wildblooded variant if it replaces bloodline power they got?

- No. Fiendish Sorcery specifically refers to Sorcerers, and an Eldritch Scion is a Magus with a Bloodrager Bloodline.

- No. Abilities don't stack like that unless they specifically say they do (which bloodlines don't).

- It increases your strength bonus, but you never get your strength bonus so it does nothing. You don't get something else instead unless a rule specifically says otherwise (which it doesn't).

- Bloodragers can't use Wildblooded. It's a Sorcerer only archetype atm.

In a home game, talk to your GM about it. If it's PFS, no luck.

Well, my friend did mention that Fiendish Sorcerer was updated to include Bloodrager bloodlines in somewhere.

Also I remember some talk that hybrid classes can use archetypes of their parent classes if removable pieces fit, but that was before they started getting their own archetypes.

I certainly don't know of any such update. I double-checked both the 2nd printing of the ACG and the ACG FAQ and came up empty.

Even during the playtest you couldn't apply parent class archetypes to hybrid classes.

Ok. Treating hybrid classes as another architypes might be my own wrong idea.

But did read Wayfinder #14.
Found bloodline rules for monsters.
Became bit happier.
