Birthday Party

Product Discussion

Well this week, November 19th is my birthday! Truly a year for milestones as I turn 30, the official age where I start to get old, but not only that but I'm fast approaching my 100th review! By Paizo's count I'm on my 93rd review but one of my most recent reviews, Mega Feats Revisited, was pulled from Paizo for review over it's sexual content so I'm saying that I'm on my 94th review, which means I have 6 more to go before getting to my 100th review. And since this is cutting close to my 30th birthday, the 100th review is going to go up on the morning of November 19th.

Here is my blog post about it.

So what is getting reviewed for my last 6 reviews until I hit 100?

The Animist, from Interjection Games

Secrets of the Masquerade Reveler from Rite Publishing.

Pure Steam from ICOSA

The Apothecary from Fat Goblin Games

Broken Earth

And Anachronistic Adventures from Rogue Genius Games.

But I'm willing to go one step beyond, (and also make the number on Paizo go to 100 instead of 99.) so I'm asking for suggestions on one more review to do with the caveat that it has to have not been reviewed before November 15th. I will even pony up the cash and buy the pdf if need be.

Just post a single product per post and if you see something you want reviewed favorite it. If there's a tie, or a lot of ties I'll go with something I own, on my wish list or on a dice roll, whichever happens first.

Congrats on your upcoming birthday and your advancing decrepitude. (I turn 35 in December.)

Would you consider reviewing one of JBE's Book of Heroic Races: Advanced books, such as Skinwalkers...

...or Changelings?

Experimental, Jet Set, Trash, and No Star by Sonic Youth.

Or do you want something more current.

And happy birthday!

I turned 30, once.

I haven't turned 30 yet. However, I have celebrated the 38th anniversary of my 29th birthday.

Happy Birthday!

I'll toss my hat in and suggest Path of Iron. I know you backed the book on Kickstarter, so you'll already be getting a copy, and being that it hasn't come out yet it doesn't have any reviews.

Unfortunately that comes out right after my birthday.

Have you looked at dragon tiger ox yet?

I do have Dragon, Tiger, Ox. I was waiting until I get back to my eastern homebrew setting to read it thoroughly but I can binge analyze it tomorrow.

I have some surprise birthday stuff jumped on me, but I have most of the reviews up at this point. I'll post the rest when I get back home. And BTW, I think Book of Heroic Races: Changelings was the winner.

In the haze of Thanksgiving and birthday hangovers I forgot about this.

I'm at 101 reviews now. (technically 102)

I got one for;

The Animist

The Masquerade Reveler

Pure Steam

Broken Earth

The Apothecary

Anachronistic Adventures

Book of Heroic Races Advanced: Changelings

and bonus Letters from the Flaming Crab: Culinary Magic.

Check them out. If you get decide to get Broken Earth definitely pick up Anachronistic Adventures. If you have any of Dire Rugrat's taverns, Culinary Magic is the perfect set of dishes to spice things up. If you went to Thunderscape for the lore and classes, get Pure steam for the items and science. These two products are golden together. If you didn't like changelings because they were one page of bland, get BoHR Advanced Changelings for a bit of a kick(Personally I got the subscription but whatever works for you.) .

Happy Belated Birthday, Malwing. And thank you for reviewing Advanced Changelings. Truly, your 5 Star review was a present to me.
