does brawlers flurry quality you for the improved two weapon fighting feat?

Rules Questions

If i were to take a two level dip in brawler and pick up brawlers flurry would that qualify as two weapon fighting for the prerequisite to improved two weapon fighting feat?

I realise that i would have to meet the other prerequisites like bab 6 and dex 17.

If so would it continue to function as brawlers flurry, i.e. two weapon fight with one weapon with the monk property.

I thank anyone who takes the time for a helpful response.

Silver Crusade

Yes, but only while you were using the Brawler's Flurry. If you were doing some other full attack action, then you would not count as having Two-Weapon Fighting Feat.

Brawler's Flurry:
Brawler's Flurry (Ex): Starting at 2nd level, a brawler can make a brawler's flurry as a full-attack action. When doing so, a brawler has the Two-Weapon Fighting feat when attacking with any combination of unarmed strikes, weapons from the close fighter weapon group, or weapons with the "monk" special feature. She does not need to use two different weapons to use this ability.

A brawler applies her full Strength modifier to her damage rolls for all attacks made with brawler's flurry, whether the attacks are made with an off-hand weapon or a weapon wielded in both hands. A brawler can substitute disarm, sunder, and trip combat maneuvers for unarmed attacks as part of brawler's flurry. A brawler with natural weapons can't use such weapons as part of brawler's flurry, nor can she make natural weapon attacks in addition to her brawler's flurry attacks.

At 8th level, the brawler gains use of the Improved Two-Weapon Fighting feat when using brawler's flurry. At 15th level, she gains use of the Greater Two-Weapon Fighting feat when using brawler's flurry.

Were you planning on multiclassing so you wouldn't be getting it free at 8th level?

Yes, it was planned to be a 2 level dip on a bloodrager.
Martial flexibility seemed worth it and if i could gain the brawlers version of two weapon fighting with one weapon it might be ideal.
Especially if that weapon was enchanted with the furious and the enchantment that lets you make a second aoo.

Brawler is very front loaded and my new favorite two level dip for a martial character.

I think a sword and board barbarian that gets to make seven attacks a round before aoo's or haste is pretty neat. Though i have to get the temple sword proficiency feat it's still cool to me.
