I was playing Attack on Sandpoint from Burnt Offerings and was attempting to temporarily close Swallowtail Festival because I encountered the Villain in a different location. The "When Closing" states "Defeat or acquire the next card in the deck." If the next card happens to be a Henchman and you defeat it, do you get to permanently close it since the Henchman came from the location deck and was not summoned? If so, do you have to do the "When closing" action again after defeating the Henchman?
If I do not get to permanently close the location, then in this case, I have to go through the entire location deck to close it as the Henchman is banished after it was defeated.

I'm with Csouth. To temp close it, you find a henchman as the next card. You defeat him, and he says attempt to close it immediately. Now you're attempting a perma-close by repeating the directions and flipping yet another card, but if you fail, you have already successfully temp closed it by beating the henchman.
You know you're awesome when you can close a location on someone else's turn! Of course, attempting to close a location may only be allowed on your turn, I dunno. If we wait a few minutes Hawkmoon will come tell us.

I'd concur. But way more importantly, so would Mike. Note the OP in that link said Town Square but meant Swallowtail Festival.
