Ehh. It's not great.

I'd take it as a Bard, but that is a hell of a lot of text.

What determines the DC?

Same as always. 1/2 HD + Cha mod.

Definitely a sweet Bard feat, or maybe Sorc/Arcanist/Oracle/Cleric.

I could see getting this on a Battle Cleric or Oracle. A feat line that gives you free wishes at 17th is pretty nuts though.

Wouldn't be too shabby on a fighter either, though I'd wait for the feat line to pick from the Cleric list if I were a Fighter. Righteous Might or Frightful Aspect would be amazing.

Seems interesting. I'd be inclined to allow choice of casting stat, honestly, just so classes that have no need of (or can't afford to put many points into) Charisma can benefit from it. Fighters and Monks would be very happy with Wis based casting, for example.

Not sure on the balance, but it could be neat.

This is what happens when I write something I saw in a dream while still half asleep.

Yes, I see feat mechanics in dreams.

The usual is spell level + charisma mod for (SLA), You are confusing it with (Su).

I'd rather make the level of accessibility later since you progress faster than a sorcerer this way and cast the spells without components of any kind, meaning you can cast in armor, in silence, without components etc.

0-lvl spells - level 1st, cha 10
1st-lvl spells - level 3rd, cha 11
2nd level - level 5th, cha 12
all the way up to level 19th, cha 19

then again I would not make any feat chain like this that consumes all your standard feats

Dark Archive

I would.very seriously consider taking these. You may want to look at the various dragon mark tattoo feats of 3.5 Eberron to compare and contrast. They are basically the same thing, feat based spell casting. Also the abberant dragon mark tattoos were offensive while.others nwere not offensive. I think each line had more feats to make them a chain in other Eberron books.

A good idea would be to do something similar but with alchemist extracts. It would definitely benefit some combat-oriented classes and rogues, and would require a certain amount of ranks in craft alchemy.

I dig this. The only thing I'm concerned about is its power level compared to another similar feat that is almost as consuming as this: Magical Tail.

Sovereign Court

Interesting.
