Capable Explorer,
First and foremost, let me thank you for the incredible job you’ve done over the last several months. Since the Ten first set their eyes on Varisia and focused many of the Pathfinder Society’s resources on Magnimar and the ruins of ancient Thassilon both outside and within its walls, we have made—nay, you, Pathfinders, have made—many notable discoveries. But our work is not yet done!
The reputation of the Pathfinder Society in Magnimar has grown beyond my greatest expectations, and the Decemvirate, my fellow venture-captains, and the Heidmarchs are certain that you will be able to follow through with what you’ve already set in motion and cement the society as a vital part of Magnimar. With the discoveries you’ve already made, our goal of making Heidmarch Manor one of the premier Pathfinder lodges in all of Avistan is well within reach. Keep up the good work!
Our troubles with the Aspis Consortium continue, however, and it is clear that they’ve got a sturdy foothold in the region. While we anticipated running into them in Magnimar, I don’t think anyone could have expected Riddleport to be such a hotbed of consortium activity. Maiveer Sloan, who runs Bronze House in Magnimar, seems nigh untouchable, but whoever is pulling the Aspis Consortium’s strings from the City of Cyphers may not have the ear and protection of that city’s rulers. We must double down our vigilance against the Aspis Consortium in Riddleport, and from there the entirety of Varisia, to ensure the wealth of knowledge, magic, and ancient secrets isn’t plundered for their avaricious coffers.
The rebellious Shadow Lodge agents who opened war against the society two years hence have as yet not presented as much of a problem as I anticipated. Something tells me, however, that the force behind their insurrection hasn’t petered out entirely yet. Keep on the lookout for those who still wish to destroy the society from within, and report to Sheila Heidmarch or me any discoveries you may make regarding their plans.
The greatest treasure recovered from the ruins of Thassilon this year has been a dire discovery, however. We have learned that the cult of the ancient goddess Lissala is alive and well, and has been for thousands of years. They’re currently well on their way to implementing a plan beyond anyone’s wildest fears—the awakening of a long-sleeping runelord. The Pathfinder Society is in a unique position to prevent such an atrocity from coming to pass, and we must not shirk such a duty. While we aim to be neutral in all things, the society’s very survival could depend on preventing this great, destructive evil from entering the world. Do all you can to assist your fellow Pathfinders as they undertake this mission, which is more dangerous than any we have yet attempted as an organization.
Explore, Report, Cooperate!

One should assume that the shadow lodge infiltration goes to the very top of the society. Ask yourself who is close and has made themselves "indispensable"? Who would be the worst possible person to be a shadow lodge infiltrator? You may not have to look as far as you think.
On thwarting runelords: No good deed goes unpunished. It seems likely that some will seek to blame the society for any collateral damage that comes out of our involvement. Now would be a good time to find evidence linking this cult with our enemies. I suggest we set our best diviners on it.
Despite our best efforts we may not be able to stop the runelord. What is plan B? (if there isn't a plan B then there isn't a plan)

Hey Boss, don't be so grim.
See what you did? You scared the s**! out of everyone.
I'm only the 3rd guy to report in. The rest are off buying travel insurance.
Now for that crazy cult of Lisa... Lissala?
I say we nuke that cult from orbi.... I mean wipe out the cult, roots and all.... it is the only way to be sure no cranky runelord awakes up.

I agree. Not just to avoid having to deal with an ancient wizard who wants to rule the world, but I saw a Lissalan festival once. Terrible. Just terrible. It made me feel ill.
I will report regularly, but I would not fit in well in Riddleport. As it’s my duty to uncover fraud, I wouldn’t know where to begin.

Posting as Kyrie Ebonblade, former Shadow Lodge member, more recently welcomed into the Grand Lodge by Ambrus Valsim
The tall dark haired Varisian walked into the room and looked around. She still bore her weapon, 'Ol Painless', over her shoulder and her bandoliers clatter with prepared vials of alchemical substances. She reached into one pouch of her bandolier and pulled out a chain of copper, silver and gold badges, all bearing the sigil of the Apsis Consortium. Several of them have thumb-sized holes in them.
"My.. 'references'." She said bluntly, knowing her past clashed with some of the people here and the society leadership wasn't entirely unknown. "When can I add more to the collection?"

This is a tricky situation, i strongly suggest we work within the laws of the lands which we confront the Aspis and there allies. We do not desire to face the law enforcement of the land as well as the skulking Aspis.
I recommend caution to all, and not blindly rush to conflict... if we can use there own methods against them... all the better.
That is my two copper.
