When casting mass spells (example heal, mass pg 294) it states under Targets “no two of which can be more than 30-ft apart”. So when I as the GM look @ “Aiming a Spell” (target or targets pg 213) it states a couple very important pieces of info. First being “you must be able to see or touch the target” and second “some spells allow you to redirect the effect to new targets or areas after you cast the spell. Redirecting a spell is a move action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity”.
So by casting this heal, mass spell it’s basically saying that you can cast the initial spell on yourself or another character within 25’+5’ ft per two levels and as a move action you can heal one more character. So at the end of the day to heal your party of 6 it would take the Cleric 3 full rounds.
Due to the nature of other spells such as Haste & Horrid Wilting these rules would also apply, correct.

If you are targeting x amount of people, then they would have to be within your sight (not behind you or invisible)correct.
Under Heal, mass it does not state if the spell targets are selected creatures like it states in the Cure, mass spells nor does it state number of creatures healed, what is the consensus out there. I ask this wondering if the spell only effects allies or all within the Target of the spell or is this the characters choice.
example- Heal, mass is cast and there are 4(one being invisible) party members along with 6 undead and a human Necromancer all within the targeted spell, who is effected, or is it always the characters choice. For the record the Cleric cannot see the invsible PC.

The target for mass heal is "one or more creatures, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart". The caster can select, by sight or touch, any number of creatures, including himself, as long as the grouping complies with the distance limit. He's not required to target any creatures he doesn't want (but he might choose to do so if, for example, they're undead).
The spell instantaneously affects the targeted creatures and then ends. He can't redirect it.
In Guy's example, the cleric can target the 3 visible party members and the 6 undead, excluding the enemy necromancer. He can only target the invisible party member if he knows what square that person is in and can reach him.
