Soy. Lactose-intolerant and all that.

O. M. G. Like Pavlov's Dog (Chekov's Corgi?), I can actually taste the Cherry Garcia right now.

Phantom ice cream, why do you taunt me so?!

I'm sure someone here will bravely fall on a pint to save you.

Pints? Pints are for drinking.

I likes mine ice creams in quart or larger sizes. Raw!

This celery tastes nothing like ice cream.

You are doing it wrong then. Use the celery as a spoon for the ice cream. You are still eating healthy and you get to enjoy your favorite foods, its win-win. Additionally, celery is a negative calorie food so therefore, you are actually not consuming any calories at all by doing this.

Hey now! None of that! Let's keep it civil.

Hey. I'm not the only one. :)

Any favorite brands?

I almost want to try this. :P

Even better would be to eat the ice cream really, really fast so that you burn up the calories as you ingest them. ;P

Spoiler:
BRAIN FREEZE!

Mwhaaaaahaaaaaahaaaaa! It's all falling into place.

My favorite happens to be what my mom's favorite was as well,

Pecan, Pralines and Cream.

Though I haven't been able find it lately. QQ

Polkagris. (For the non-Swedes, vanilla with chunks of peppermint-flavoured caramels in it). Pistachio and chocolate-orange is pretty amazing too.

Oh, and the vanilla and mascarpone I'm about to eat just now is bloody amazing.

Sanders Hot Fudge goes well with French Vanilla.

{rolls WILL: 1d20 ⇒ 1} A natural one? That explains my failure today... but this Coffee Heath Bar Crunch is sooooooooooooooo good.

The political threads go on and on, and this falls off the front page? Disgraceful I tells ya. Just plain disgraceful.

I just discovered some awesome Salted Caramel ice cream, but my all time favorite remains a three way tie between Butter Almond, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Crazy Vanilla.

OK, clearly Ben & Jerry's makes their ice cream with osmium, because I ate a single pint (16 oz) over 2-1/2 days... and gained 4 pounds.

Ben'n'Jerry's CoffeeCoffeeBuzzBuzzBuzz.

Followed by that one Hawaiian Honey Ice Cream that Haagen Daas used to make, that they probably don't anymore.

Yarr, I'm going to say chocolate chip cookie dough. Vanilla ice cream with cookie dough! It's more acceptable than eating raw cookie dough, and there's ice cream, mmm. I learned that vanilla comes from an orchid at trivia (we got the question wrong).

With Ben & Jerry's having appeared in Sweden since this thread went to sleep, I can now say that I don't get what all the fuss is about.

What about frozen custard, frozen yogurt, sorbet, and gelato, dont they get any attention.

That sounded rude I probably should have put a smiley face after that.

Still like tiramisu gelato, but salted caramel is a close second.

Ben and Jerry's used to make:

"Dave Matthews Band® Magic Brownies™ - Encore Edition
Black Raspberry Ice Cream Swirled with Sweet Cream Ice Cream & Fudgy Brownies"

It was wonderful. I miss it. I also really like Talenti's Belgian Milk Chocolate Gelato.

For those of you who are lactose intolerant I would like to suggest frozen yogurt. The lactose gets broken down by the bacteria in the yogurt culture so it should not be a problem.

Personally when it comes to flavors I'll go for just about anything I can get my hands on.

GAAAAHHHH! Necromantic ice cream!

My favorite regular flavor that you can get in a supermarket is butter pecan.

There's a local homemade ice cream shop in my town that has unusual flavors. My favorites there are coconut, ginger, and green tea.

Dark chocolate with strawberries
Cantaloupe and cream – I only seen this a few times. I think it is seasonal

Manjar Mousse icecream, even better if combined with berries (manjar, also called dulce de leche in some parts -though technically manjar is sweeter and thicker- is a caramel-like substance made from slow-boiled condensed milk. The name means literally "Delight").

Any day: Chocolate Chip.

Special days: Cherry Garcia.

Why are we having a civil discussion about this, of all things?

All your favorites are stupid, and wrong. Yes, your subjective opinions are wrong. Mine, on the other hand, are the best. Badwrongfun.

(I like Americone Dream, for the record. Probably where all that came from.)

It is a much better thing to have necromantic ice cream than necromantic farts. :-)

Those things are very likely not mutually exclusive.

Well, if that's the way you want it ...

<Gets out the restraints, the ice cubes, the feather duster, the clothes pins, the whip and the hot wax.>

Prepare yourself for the infamous 50 shades of ice cream!

Muhahaha!

Dronf!

Personally, I think Stewart's, an upstate New York chain, makes the best hard ice cream. Their Raspberry Fudge Torte frozen yogurt is my favorite.

Dark Chocolate and vanilla.

Salted caramel truffle is my new favorite since I discovered it about a year ago. My old standbys are chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chocolate chip. Special mention goes to Amy's Ice Cream's (Austin, Texas) Guiness ice cream with peanut butter cups mixed in. Guiness ice cream is a seasonal thing though, and I'm not even sure if they make it anymore.

I think I saw it at Austin's ice cream festival one year.

Unfortunately, it seems to be seasonal, but Blue Bell's Chocolate Covered Cherries is my favorite.

That does sound good. But will they deliver it to R'yleh?
:-)

Dronf!

Shadow Lodge

yes
and it comes wrapped in delicious delivery men !

Homemade ice cream.

I shift between vanilla and mint flavor when it comes to favourites.

Banana. Mmmmmmmmmmm. I also like mint without all those pesky things in it. But my favorite is banana, and my favorite place to get it is just outside of Scranton, PA called Manning's. It's run on-site by a dairy farm and it's soooooooo good. Manning's ice cream and Old Forge pizza make me sad that I've moved to CA. Oh, and my family being there >.>

(1) Banana
(2) Eggnog
(3) Vanilla Fudge
(4) Black Raspberry
