Judging by similar abilities, it lasts a number of rounds equal to your cleric level.

Well,if you look at the Wall of Ashes of the Ash subdomain, the duration is 1 minute, which also corresponds to how long a smokestick will provide smoke. Maybe a 1 minute duration was also intended for Cloud of Smoke?
