Brevoy Ethnicities Q

Is the majority of the population in Brevoy considered Taldan? On my reading of the CS it seems to suggest that Rostland is, but it isnt as clear to me about Issia. Choral was Iobarian, and thus of Ulfen stock. But what about the peoples that already lived there, specifically those of House Surtova?

Most of the humans who first settled the region were Taldans following the Sellen with the Armies of Exploration.

The majority of Brevoy is Taldan, or a mix of Taldan and Ulfen or even Kellid to the point where they're basically all Taldan now.

Thanks for the clarification :) That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure for the appropriate background flavoring of a KM PC.

While Choral was Iobarian (Ulfen?) I'm sure I read somewhere that most of his conquering army was made up of Kellid warriors.

What ethnicity are the Iobarians comparable to?

Ulfen, I presume. Page 153-154 of the campaign setting says that Ulfen explorers settled the vast taiga between the ice cap and the Castrovin Sea, and that "in time, these settlements emerged as Iobaria".

Remember the people there speak common (Taldane), Skald and Kellid are also fairly common as well... :)
