Hoping to join a Pathfinder campaign. I've been playing tabletop RPGs for about two years. In general I tend to prefer fast and heroic action vs. slower and more simulation-based combat. As far as table style I like light-hearted moments but I'm also willing to jump in if there's some serious RP drama afoot. I'm not above a fart joke. Having been a DM myself, I know to always show up with snacks and beverages to share. I run another D&D game every other Tuesday and would prefer a weeknight to a weekend game, but I'm open to either.

I'm primarily looking for a chance to play, but if you're a group or player looking for a DM, I could be talked into running one of the Pathfinder APs or running the occasional one-shot to give your current DM a break every now and then. What I ask is that you be a mature and respectful group who are really excited to game together and can commit to weekly or bi-weekly sessions.

Wow, what an amazingly massive coincidence. I was just about to post here. I'm in Cambridge, about 10 minutes walk from Central Square. I'm fairly new to Pathfinder, but learning as I go. I would like to try my hand at DMing someday hopefully with a patient group, either with an adventure path or a one-shot thing. I'm not stuck on doing that right away, so I'm also not against playing. I can commit to weekly or bi-weekly games too. Since I work, I'm usually free nights, after 6 or so and on Saturdays. Sunday nights sometimes work too.

I'm also fairly new to the boards. Is there some sort of PM function, or do we have to "abstract" our email addresses (so bot don't pick it up) and put it here?

I'm also interested in playing some Pathfinder. I'm in the Boston College area, but Cambridge is just a bus ride away. I've played and GMed 3.5 back in the day, so Pathfinder shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Are you guys still playing Sunday afternoons at Pandemonium? I was curious but the webapp to sign up is rather temperamental.

Yes, Pandy is seating usually two tables of PFS nowadays, every Sunday at noon. This Sunday is Voices in the Void!

With over 75 members on the BostonPFS yahoo group, I think we have critical mass. While it is an important communication tool for local announcements, I'll probably clear non-yahoo members to register for games on the Warhorn site soon.

Thanks Don. How do you handle having a wide spread of character levels in the party? You've got people from 1 to 7 in your group.

Sorry, I just noticed your post Peter.

We ran 2 tables and the level 7 player dropped. Running with varying levels is usually not a problem unless the GM is playing without mercy.

Generally scenarios keep to a 5 level range. For some of the older ones with a 7 level range the mid-tier can usually accommodate everyone if there is only 1 table running.
