So was wondering if anyone has played around with the idea of world traveling in Pathfinder, i.e. Spelljammer or some such method? With the new PF OGL opening up the possibility of new worlds to explore via other companies I’m looking for interesting ways to connect them. I know Spelljammer is a licensed product but nothing stopping anyone from doing something similar for PF. One idea I’ve started kicking around is a Dr. Who Tardis type transport which could allow chronomancy into my game but really want to keep the game more fantasy based. So any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed.

Other companies can't use Golarion unless their product is free.
However, fans are much more likely to develop the game world, in an unofficial format.
I like the idea of portals, and gateways, myself. Sort of Stargate like.
In my game I have had the PCs summoned to the red planet, Akiton, already. The victims of Summon Monster V! Walking along in a dungeon and preparing for a fight when a critter casts Summon Monster V and summons a group of humans. They are compelled to fight the Lashunta from Castrovel, who were fighting the Shobhad-neh from Akiton who summoned the PCs. The fight was still underway when the summons wore off and they found themselves in the dungeon, but now a couple of orcs were standing outside the door they were about to enter, and the PCs were banged up. Every one is surprised. Roll initiative...
They used summoning spells a little less often after that... then the game ended.

Pretty good. I like the Stargate concept and thought about using it. One could mix it with Spelljammer to get a real blend.
As for other companies I mentioned I'm hoping that a few might do their own settings and make them PF compatible thus adding to the world hopping. Sort of like I did with the older settings for D&D and still could do.
One of the best adventures I ever ran had a momentary gate that worked taking the party to Athas where the Half-giant character joined up. Once they finished there and returned with the HG the portal ceased functioning so it became an over arching quest for the HG to find a way back home since Darksun is a closed system.

ATHAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVED THAT SETTING!
I have considered running a campaign that hops from setting to setting. Golarion to Mystara, to Forgotten Realms, Athas, Greyhawk, Iron Kingdoms, etc...
Would be very interesting and need a POWERFUL story to hold it together...
