Please decide which character you'll play. This game be run as subtier 1-2, and of course your character has to be PFS legal.
When you've decided which character you want to play, make a post with it in this thread. Provide an info bar similar to the following where 'race' is listed in your profile:
M Human Alchemist/3 (HP 22/23 | AC:20 | T:17 | FF:13 | CMB: +0 | CMD:14 | Fort:+6 | Ref:+7 | Will:+0 | Init:+4 | Perc: +3 | Speed: 30 ft.)
Once everyone's chosen a character to play with I'll 'officially' open the gameplay thread for you. Before this happens you can still swap your character.

happy to join, I have several different characters, but the one I'd like to play is finishing up another game. I'm not sure if it'll be done by monday. Is that when you are planning to start this game?
I will post with the character I hope will be available, but may need to change to a different one.

Current list of players:
Branson Davelock
Chyras LeBlanc
Kavaki Gossamar
Traceni Skrit
3 of our current players are in-game. Branson and Traceni are past the boss, and should be in the conclusion of their game. Kavaki has just entered the boss battle. I'll wait for your games to finish.
I wrote I'd open recruitment today if no one else I'd invited would join. Luckily 2 more players showed up!
Would you like a 5th party member in case no one else I've invited joins, or do you think 4 players is enough?

The more the merrier. I vote for 5. Depending on post rates, hopefully we'll be done sooner than later. This battle should not be long. Thank you for your patience as I really would like to use this same character for this adventure.

It's not a problem, because the average level of the party has to fall within the subtier. Chyras will reach level 2 after this scenario. Meaning that, if Traceni stays level 1, we'll continue part 2 in subtier 1-2.
If Traceni also reaches level 2 after this scenario you'll have to play part 2 in subtier 3-4. That is, unless a character joins that'll still be level 1 after part 1. That would bring the average back to 2.
Traceni, how close are you to level 2 after your current scenario's finished?

Normally you apply credit you've gained through a pregen when your character reaches the level of the pregen, but the credit from WBG2 applies sooner:
"All players who play the entire module receive the
attached Chronicle sheet which may be applied to any
2nd-, 3rd-, or 4th-level PC as if that character had played
the module." - From the extra instructions attached to the Chronicle Sheet.
When you've chosen which character should receive the credit it has to be applied as soon as the character is able to receive it. (While the character is in another game, you'll have to wait with applying credit till the character's no longer in a game. The non-applied credit is then applied in the order gained.)
| StephNyan |
Just apply the WBG2 credit to Branson if you want. If Traceni reaches level 2 after part 1, like Chyras, we'll have 2 level 2 characters and 2 level 3 characters. The average party level will be 2.5. You'd normally round halves up, but in PFS you may still choose to play down in this situation.
I've taken another look at the encounters in both parts, and considering Kavaki will be level 3 during part 1 and Branson's a healer I'd prefer this scenario with the 4 players we currently have. You should be able to handle it.
If Traceni stays level 1 we'll have to play down anyway. With 5 players part 2 would become too easy, but 4 should keep it fun even when playing subtier 1-2 with 2 level 3 characters in the mix.

Ok, I got my cert. I'll get whatever gear I need purchased tomorrow and be ready to go and make a post.
As an aside, anyone here have a level 1 or 2 character and interested in playing scenario 4-07 Severing Ties?
I've got a group of 3 ready to go HERE and they need a 4th.

Haha, yes.
But anyway, here are the rebuilds I did for Traceni:
Spells: Swapped out Murderous Command for Bless.
Traits: Swapped out Friend of the Fey for Bandit (to make Intimidate a class skill)
Skills: Swapped out Knowledge(Religion) for Intimidate. I now have a +9 there.
Racial Traits: Swapped out Focused Study for Extra Feat.
Feats: Swapped out Skill Focus: Knowledge(Nature) for Fey Foundling.
I was originally going to take the Eldritch Heritage (Fey) feats, but I think I might just dip into Sorcerer for the arcana instead (which Eldritch Heritage wouldn't have gotten me, anyway).

I also think that the realization that the really good abilities in the bloodline (Fleeting Glance, Fey Magic) would have to wait in any case for when I'm 11th level that I decided, just forget about getting those abilities, take the dip, and stick to Oracle.
I could take Feather Fall and True Strike as my sorcerer spells, too, which I could stay in armor for them.

For those who have never used Ditzie before, here's how it works:
You can drag your picture to another position to the map, but the map doesn't automatically save. So press Enter on your Keyboard, and the link to the map should change. Copy this new link, and create a link to it in your new post.
Always use the last map created by someone else when you post. I will let it be known when I update the map below my name.
If you're not able to use Ditzie, please let me know and post an accurate description of your movement instead when you make a post. It's encouraged to help your comrades if someone can't use Ditzie, which you can do by updating the map for him.

Unless my work has completed changed its IT policies I won't be able to do anything with it. YEP! it's entirely blocked.
I should be able to view it on the iPhone, so I'll do that and then describe my movements in detail in the gameplay thread, so if someone is able to move me, they can.
Sorry to be a pain folks.

@Chyras - FoB (flurry of blows) is a monk class feature, the "monk" quality simply indicates the weapon "may" be used as part of a FoB.
Flowing monk is an Archtype that add more focus to combat manuvers.
-------------------
@Branson - didn't see that you had assisted, thank you for the +2. Not using 2 temple swords for a few reasons:
- cost for upgrading 2 weapons
- some manuvers need a free hand to perform
- I tend to use or have potions, alchemical items, ect. these require free hand to retrieve and use. I didn't was to add a colexity of trying to pick up weapon after dropping it to use these items
- at lvl 4, damage with unarmed is same as temple sword
- fluff, I don't picture my character as fighting with 2-weapons (besides unarmed strikes)

no reason, I guess mechanically it would work by RAW. I just picture a FoB as multiple different attack sources instead of the same weapon twice.
Your right though, I could do 2 with the single sword.

These attacks can be any combination of unarmed strikes and attacks with a monk special weapon (he does not need to use two weapons to utilize this ability).
The emphasis is mine.

Ah, yes the misunderstanding was due to having read threads on monks & claws, where people said 1 limb couldn't be used for both an unarmed and claws in 1 round.
