Pooka chuckles at Sun's comment. I thought things were supposed to get better with age, right?
With that, he reaches up towards the handle on the door and swings it open, then grabs his lance and spurs Luna gently forward into the room, just enough to let others enter behind him.
Whatever threat lies behind this door, we will be prepared to charge like we were born to do...
Right Luna? Good girl... Pooka whispers to his dog as though she heard every thought in his mind. He scratches behind her ear as they scan the new room from floor to ceiling.

These public restrooms seem to be for the use of visiting clientele. Several stalls are here and a huge cesspool below collects the offal. Mad laughter echoes in this cramped stone chamber. The stench of sewage battles the cold of the mist, but through the haze can be seen smears of blood across the floor, walls, and ceiling, as well as the doors of several stalls.
Maldroog, one of the museum’s watchmen, wallows here, quite insane thanks to the Tik Taan’s influence. He is not alone. The mists have also attracted a fearsome sewer monster, a speckled viper, now a homicidal monster.

No Aramil! The viper next to him!!!
Edit-Not sure if we are supposed to attack him or not, just playing my character as the bleeding heart trying to make sure people don't die unnecessarily... :)

Zac will take a double move to get within melee of it going around the spaces that provoke Aoo as he has just enough movement to get to where he is now.
Please keep in mind this is after the viper goes, so when it comes the vipers turn, Zac would not have been in melee reach.

I think we are back to waiting on Aldenharn, and we might be up to 2 full weeks that he hasn't posted...

![]() |

No, you were back to waiting on the GM doing the viper's turn...
Aramil cuts a deep wound in the man's chest. Aldenharn moves into the room.

Insidion already killed the viper so I let Pooka and Luna attack the human.
Insidion, Pooka and Luna attack and hit the targets as hard as they can. Insidion smashes the viper to goo while Pooka's lance pierces the man. He falls over, but he's still breathing. You can see the mist escape his throat and he changes back to normal.

Sun will rush over to the fallen man's side and cast Stabilize to make sure he doesn't go over the edge.
"Maldroog, the mist has left you. Rest easy friend." Sun says to the fallen guard, seeing if the man responds to ask more questions

![]() |

Pooka breaths a sigh of relief, worried for a moment that his weapon had potentially killed an innocent man.
We should get these men out of this building to ensure they stay safe, and the mist doesn't re-take them. And we should get out of this room, it's filthy. I don't envy the poor soul who has to clean this up...
Pooka exhorts his companions to help him move all of the museum workers they have encountered so far outside of the building for their own safety before moving to the office room. He waits patiently to make sure the group is ready before swinging the door open, ready to face whatever evil lies behind the door.

![]() |

Yeah, I kind of forgot to double check the order, as I didn't see the viper was before me, but I had already moved my characters and forgot where he was originally, which is why I had to do an edit using out of character thing stating that was his move after the viper.
anyway, Zac moves behind sun.

After moving the last of the workers outside, Aramil looks down the hall and says "It appears that we have but one door left. Let's hope the curator is behind it and still alive.".

Pooka swings the final door open and confidently strides in, lance at the ready for whatever might jump out of the shadows. He holds the torch he had lit before entering the building in front of him in case the room is poorly lit when he enters.

In this room the Blakros Museum shows off its finest collections. Mock vines cling to the walls and hang from the fifty-foot-high domed ceiling, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area. At the center of this sprawling chamber, a miniature replica of a traditional Mwangi ziggurat rises out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail-thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.
The Tik Taan hold court here, served by a band of savage primates (escaped from all over Absalom) snarling, spitting, and cavorting madly about the ziggurat. Nearly 20 apes, baboons, and other monkeys revel here, but a terrifying howl shatters the revelry after you arrive and the primates scatter into the mists, making way for their champion, a large ape named Da’Tunga. On the other side of the room, between the monkeys Pooka can see a small wooden idol moving. A Tik Taan idol.

does the idol have a special ability or is damage a min of 1 if it hits, because it doesn't make sense, it can never hurt anyone, unless on a crit which is 2d2-2
