Treat Condition mentions that it cannot remove a condition that is perpetually inflicted by a given effect, the example invoked being this part of the unholy rune.
"If you are holy, you are enfeebled 2 while carrying or wielding this weapon."
Is this behavior exclusive to Treat Condition, or is any condition that is "continually applied under certain circumstances" effectively impossible to remove without changing the circumstances?
For instance, would a spell that attempts to counteract the slowed condition for a Swallowed Whole creature be useless because the target is still grabbed? Would a spell that counteracts the blinded condition do no good for a target that is unconscious (which causes the blinded condition)?
