Grit, luck, and panache

Rules Questions

I seem to remember a rule about Grit, luck, and panache stacking. My memory is that there was a rule that you could only add a single attribute, but I can't seem to find it.

I found the general rule that you can only add each attribute once.

For reference, looking at an Investigator (Sleuth)/Gunslinger (Pistolero) Build

Flagged the other double-double posts.

Grit, Luck, and Panache: Grit, luck, and panache represent three different means by which heroes can gain access to the same heroic pool, using it to accomplish fantastic feats. For characters with a mix of grit, luck, and panache, they pool the three resources together into a combined pool. (Those who use panache and luck do not gain twice their Charisma bonus in their pool.) For feats, magic items, and other effects, a panache user can spend and gain luck points in place of grit or panache points, and vice versa.

A luck user does not count as a grit or panache user to satisfy feat prerequisites.

So, Wis for grit and Cha for luck, stacks fine. Just wouldn't get Cha again for panache.

The rule you are probably thinking of is Ki for Ninja/Monk, can only use one ability score to determine Ki, although the Ki can be used for either class's abilities.

If the ninja possesses levels in another class that grants points to a ki pool, ninja levels stack with the levels of that class to determine the total number of ki points in the combined pool, but only one ability score modifier is added to the total. The choice of which score to use is made when the second class ability is gained, and once made, the choice is set. The ninja can now use ki points from this pool to power the abilities of every class she possesses that grants a ki pool.
