I have a couple of questions, on the finer points of using some of Paizo's official artwork, for mostly personal use...
(1) I want to commission an artist to draw a sketch of one of my characters, but I want this sketch to be faithful to Paizo's style of art. The character in question is of a race that Paizo has customized. Specifically, this character is a kobold; and I want the sketch to be of Paizo's Golarion type of kobold. I want to use an image of Paizo's, to send to the artist, as an illustration of what the kobold basically looks like (but with a different pose, and different gear, etc.) Since the artist will be receiving a commission (i.e. money) for their work, this is "for profit." But it is for an image that I will be using for my own purpose (i.e. not for resale).
Does Paizo offer any "free to use" art of their customized species, to help artists who may be unfamiliar with the distinctive style used by Paizo, please?
(2) I also want to create a 3-d miniature of this same character. I was trying to use HeroForge for this, but their interpretation of kobold is not the same as Paizo's.
I have no idea at all how to fix this problem. Help, please?
