I had a very weird experience with TTRPGs, I started with City of Mist which is a very rules light system, then tried PF2e next, then D&D 5e, then D&D 3.5e, then PF1e.
In the 3.5e campaign I played an ardent which is a wisdom based psionic spellcaster kind of like cleric where you choose domains and get armour etc, and I loved the psionic power system so much that when we moved to PF1e first thing I did was look for psionic classes, to which I couldn't find any with psionic casting rules they all just fell into the spellcaster rules. I did later find out that there was a community made supplement to use power points, but because I was learning the system the first time I played something else.
My all time favourite system so far has been PF2e (premaster,) it hits all the sweet spots, feels great to run and play for the most part, and most importantly I love the class designs. I also love playing spellcasters in PF2e and though I know for some reason it's a hot take, they feel really powerful and impactful.
After experiencing Ardent I have an itch that is unscratched. Especially considering how hard it is to find a 3.5e game, it seems like I have no hope for a 'mana' system unless Paizo decides to make one. Kineticist is kind of similar with their legally distinct spell like abilities, but it's not quite the same vibe I wanted.
I wonder if it's possible to integrate powers into PF2e somehow someway, or even homebrew a class or something. As I understand it, psionics were absolutely broken in 3.5e, though I've never experienced that, it's all I see online when talking about it.

I still use the psionic rules in the AD&D Players Handbook.
And since psionics is an Intellect power, I think AI can have psionics too.

Not really broken, no. They could certainly save their points and nova hard on one or two encounters, but so can a wizard, and the effects of wizard spells are always a step or two above most psionic powers in 3e/PF1, as far as capability for narrative-effecting ability and changing the entire field of combat can go.
They just get a lot more scrutiny because "wizard is in the PHB and therefore it's fine".
Dreamscarred Press did an amazing conversion of and expansion on 3e Psionics for PF1, all of which is available on PFSRD. Not much help admittedly if you're doing a PF2 game, but it is there for persual if nothing else. Your DM might let you homebrew up a PF2 conversion if that's something they're cool with? I dunno if anyone here on the forums has tried.
