Mandragora Shriek Slowed Duration

Rules Discussion

Mandragora's Piercing Shriek crit fail effect: "The creature is sickened 2 and slowed 1. As long as the creature remains sickened, this slowed condition value can't be reduced below 1."

How long does the slowed last? Once the sickened is gone, it would be possible to reduce the slowed value, but slowed doesn't reduce itself like frightened does. Is the condition supposed to end once your not sickened anymore?

By RAW, the creature is Slowed until an effect removes the condition.

If you are no longer sickened, slowed is reduced as soon as you regain actions.

That's stunned. Slowed does not auto-reduce

I seem to recall the cockatrice's slowed conditions getting a duration in the remaster because they forgot for the legacy monster. Maybe this is a similar error? Can't imagine the devs want this monster to inflict a debuff at level 4 that players can't remove until level 7.

I think it's just a small error. Compare it to Divine Wrath:

Quote:
Critical Failure The creature takes full damage and is sickened 2; while it's sickened, it's also slowed 1.

That is how I interpret it (and maybe it had been Stunned before and they changed it to Slowed, forgetting it needed a duration/end.)
