Recently, I'm trying to build a Magus with Laughing Shadow Hybird Study and Spirit Warrior Archtype. So I can apply the bonus damage to Overwhelming Combination.
But the 6th feat "Cutting Heaven, Crushing Earth" announce that "As long as you have invested and are wearing a set of handwraps of mighty blows", and "Laughing Shadow" announce that " You must have your other hand completely free; the extra damage doesn't apply if you have a free-hand weapon or other item in that hand".
My GM is inclined to rule that "worn gloves" do not count as an "other item in that hand" since they are worn on the body, not held in the hand.
Is this RAW? Has there been any official errata or common community consensus on whether wearing Handwraps of Mighty Blows deactivates the Laughing Shadow bonus damage?

Your GM is correct, The RAW is that worn items aren't "in your hands"
Items can be carried in 3 ways
Held - occupies one or two hands, if your hand is holding something it cannot be used for most purposes such as interacting or such, not even unarmed attacks if one is to believe the unarmed trait
Worn - tucked into pockets, pouches or worn/strapped on your body
Stowed - stuffed into backpacks and sacks.Gloves arent held because they do not occupy your hand similar to gauntlets. But Gauntlets would not work since they are free-hand weapons.
