How does glitching interact with Tech armor and AC?

Rules Discussion

Hi. I don't have much doubt about how glitching affects tech items like weapons and usable items, if you take an action with them, roll the flat check, endure the consequences, done. But what about armor?

If I am wearing tech armor and I gain the glitching condition during combat, when (if ever) do I roll the flat check? Do I roll it everytime I am attacked to see if it affects my AC? Every time I take any action? Every time I start my turn, like the tech creatures do?

Obviously I am asking this wishing for a canonical answer, not homebrew, but if anything, to encourage something to be said about it in the next errata round.

My reading of glitching is that armor is treated the same way as other equipment. You still only roll if you're using an action from the armor. Basic armors don't have actions, but special magic armors and some armor upgrades do.

It could also be ruled to apply to armor upgrades (such as Jump Jets) that are installed in the armor.

Though I could also see having the upgrades get targeted with the Glitching condition separately.

Yeah both of your answers have crossed my mind, but I don't feel like any of them are good enough for a game that tries to be as clear as possible with rules like Paizo's games are. Hopefully we get some errata on this eventually.
