Good day all! I'm going to be running this AP for two groups. One is comprised of PF vets, and will be run in story mode. The other is my relative newbie group, and will be reported. But, I have a question about the Free Archetype suggestion in the Hellbreakers Players Guide. I'm aware that in general, Free Archetypes are not for Society Play, but I've never seen a suggestion the it get used before. Can it be for this AP, or is it still not allowed? I've checked the Organized Play Character Options page, this forum, and the PFS discord and haven't seen any mention yet.
Thanks!

Here's the bit you're looking for.
Adventure Mode" is used for adventures not specifically designed for Organized Play. This mode allows the GM more freedom to adapt those adventures, including running the adventure in Pathfinder using GM house rules and the ability to alter encounters and statistics found in the adventure.
Link to the relevant section of the Organized Play Foundation.
So when running adventures or adventure paths, you're free to use any variant you like, including your own house rules. All that is required is that the game still be "recognizably Pathfinder" unless you're running an official conversion (e.g. the D&D 5e Kingmaker and Abomination Vaults conversions), and that you follow the Pathfinder Baseline set out in the Player Core (Handy link to them on AoN)
