Am I correct in assuming that I can get the Galt undead companions from a source of animal companions?
The rules for undead companions say that, while equivalent to animal companions in most ways, you need the undead master archetype or similar. However, that archetype is restricted in pfs and the character options page for shining kingdoms gives access to the companions to characters from Galt. I can’t find anything that gives specific information about how to reconcile this. Even the undead companions boon just says that you have access.

The original undead companions boon from the book of the dead, had the following text:
This character gains access to the following undead companions: ghost, skeletal mount, skeletal servant, vampiric animal, and zombie (Book of the Dead 38–39), as well as the skeletal bird of prey, skeletal constrictor, undead hand, zombie carrion bird and zombie mount (Zombie Feast 77-78). These undead companions function like animal companions in all ways, aside from the differences enumerated on page 37 of Book of the Dead.
It's clearly intended that the undead companions are useable, and since undead master is not, the only way to use them is to replace your animal companion with one.
Considering that The character options page for Shining Kingdoms specifically calls out "Galt: Gray Bladeling and severed head companions.", the only logical conclusion is that they must be available as animal companions. Otherwise, they would not have been given access to.| Sorcsword21 |

Thank you. That is what I thought, but the lack of explicit definition was driving me crazy!
