I have a potential idea (largely for a solo/co-op game) that would involve a Promised Monarch mythic and the idea of starting a cult and transitioning to a full on proper kingdom sounds kind of neat and the rules are *similar* between the two subsystems but not exact. How would you guys approach blending the two?

This sounds like a fantastic idea, but I haven’t had any experience with Mythmaker. I’m interested to hear what others say and am thinking that merging the two might make it easier to mitigate some of the problems with 2e Kingmaker kingdom building. It could possibly provide more player investment in the whole affair.
The first thing that came to mind was a player-focused country similar to Razmiran, but having leaders with real powers! I suppose that even with the addition of the mythic rules you will still need to heavily tweak the kingdom rules.

Woof, man so looking at the two and i think im too dumb to figure out how to blend them. I kinda think the best option is to just run them together? like parallel to each other. maybe sharing roles between cult/kingdom leaders but theyre just different enough i dont see a good way to *fuse* them exactly.

With no input from people who know how both subsystems play, I think that trying to use them in parallel without crossing the streams seems to be your best option. Depending how it goes, especially if you figure out how to do it part way through the campaign, do post on your experience and how someone might do it in the future.
