What exactly does the "Farah's Blade" boon from #5-15 do?

I just redeemed this boon, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't do anything that I didn't already have with just the chronicle sheet. The boon sheet says I get access to the uncommon item Obsidian Edge, but that item is also listed in the Items section of the chronicle sheet, which should give me access already.

Am I missing something?

If memory serves, the chronicle allows you to give access to the item to one character of yohr choice, thus sparing you the ACP on bequeathing the item.

No, I've seen the same thing on Starfinder chronicles of late. it's just reminding you that you now have access to the below item.
