Description
This common herder’s crook is a 6ft wooden pole with a hooked end (AC:9(7), Hrd:5, HP:8) or a fancy exotic ghrook is a 7-8ft wooden large looped crook with a metal latch and metal reinforcement (Hrd:7, HP:10).
When using a simple crook two-handed to grapple a creature of size category one less to two less than you within the crook's reach or adjacent to you ignore the -4 penalty for not having two hands free, you also maintain threat on the creature while grappled. You may bring a grappled creature adjacent to you or maintain the grapple at reach at -5 crcm to your CM check (you must otherwise use an appropriate CM to move the creature). You can use the weapon to do non-lethal damage during the grapple (rather than a light weapon) to the grappled target as if the weapon was one size smaller.

Without Impv'd Grapple feat attempting to initiate a grapple on a creature provokes an AoO on you or the weapon(to deflect weapon(if foe hits weapon's AC you take a -2 to your CM to grapple) or sunder weapon without provoking an AoO from you).
