Shades of Blood into Curtain Call?

Hi all,

I am wondering how feasible it would be to run Shades of Blood, followed up by Curtain Call, for the same party of adventurers. I know that tweaks and modifications can be made to make anything make sense, but I'm just curious how feasible it would be, out-of-the-box.

Mainly, from what I understand, Curtain Call is sort of the lead-in AP for the Godsrain event, and I know Shades of Blood came out after. All the discussion I've seen regarding which AP to run before Curtain Call suggests a level 1-10/11 AP with a single main antagonist. From what I've read about Shades of Blood, that seems fo fit the bill. However, I know, chronologically, Shades of Blood takes place during/after the Godsrain, but what I can't find people talking about is how present the Godsrain actually is in the AP. Would it require a lot of extra work to adjust the story of Shades to have it set pre-Curtain Call, or is the Godsrain little more than a footnote that can be easily ignored?

Should be pretty easy to adjust Shades of Blood to take place before Godsrain, in my opinion. Its role in Curtain Call is much more than a footnote so adjusting things on that end would be a lot tougher.

Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I was hoping to use Curtain Call to introduce my players to the Godsrain event and advance "our table's" Golarion timeline, but the only APs that looked like they could logically use as a lead-in, to me, are AV and Outlaws of Alkenstar. I'm hesitant to run AV because I've heard how deadly it is, and while Outlaws seems pretty logical, based on my understanding of the story, I think Shades overall sounds more focused since it takes place, as I understand it, in essentially one mega-dungeon. I wouldn't want to remove references to the Godsrain in Curtain Call.
