FAQs about running it in Starfinder Society.
Q: Is this a Multi-Table Interactive Special?
A: No. There is no table count requirement and it can be run anywhere by anyone.
Q: Is the actual run time really 4-5 hours?
A: Yes.
Q: Can players bring their own level 3 characters instead of using pregens?
A: No. This is a special pregen scenario, similar to the other campaign launch scenarios SFS1 1-00 or PFS2 1-00. Using the Level 3 iconic pregens for SF2 is mandatory. [Link to pregens: here.]
Q: Can credit for this be applied to a level 1 character?
A: Yes. Just like in any other SFS2 scenario, you can always take reduced rewards (i.e. the standard 140 credits at level 1) in order to apply the chronicle immediately to a level 1 character. The item on the chronicle will become available when that character reaches level 3. [Source: SFS2 Guide.]
Q: Can credit for this be applied to a new level 3 character?
