Really? Did I miss this in book 2?

Yeah, I think that's might be miscommunication. My understanding too was that Aerekostes could help kill Sangeh if she can't be reasoned with, but not that it would help find her. That said, it is their only lead at the start of the book, and once they find it, Aerekostes can help direct the PCs in the vague direction of Sangeh

We're just finishing up the Exthenios fight. I really liked the duel bit, but given given that My Fight! is a reaction, it is a little hard to "prevent" interference; once one character has interfered and been punished, everyone else can join in with impunity.

If I were to run this encounter again, I'd want to be able to use My Fight! more often. Off the top of my head, I'd probably do something like this:

Exthenios gains an extra reaction per round for each Deathless Pirate still in the fight. He can only use these extra reactions to use My Fight!

That would force the rest of the party to deal with the adds without interfering with the duel, while not being punishing if Exthenios is left for last
