I was not particularly impressed by the first one but I'm probably going to watch this one if only to see the troll-kaiju fight they hinted at.
Yeah, I ended up going back and looking for comments on this first one and found yours. Also noted your mention of Trollhunter. Unfortunately, it looks like that one is currently unavailable to me for streaming. Which has me kicking myself in the butt, because I used to see it offered, but kept telling myself I'd watch it later.
